Have been slowly coming off antidepressants and stopped taking the pill (using condoms) to get body back to normal ready to try for no.2 in June, also started taking pregnacare. I know its early to start posting but got my first proper period today so just been on site to check fertile dates for months again and think we're going to go for it in June - ooooooooooooo, very excited. Just wondered if there was anyone else out there planning way ahead cos i wouldn't talk to anyone in RL life about it so far ahead, other than dh!

If 'this' dc is a ds he'll be Oliver Christopher - almost definately. If it's a dd then we have no idea...

lissie · 02/06/2007 16:00

if we have another boy he will be either archie or michael
if we have a girl she'll be either eleanor or bethany

scorpio1 · 02/06/2007 16:02

oh i chose my options last month, quite good ones too actually. i'm also a bit more happy im not pg yet, because i may actually finish my degree before baby born that would be good.

we are also holding off booking our holiday for next year, until we know when a baby may come. i should just book one shouldnt i??

We are going on hol the end of july; sods law i will be v early pg then and feel rank all holiday!

tigerschick · 02/06/2007 16:02

That's a good point lissie, we liked Bethany for dd but bil's gf's dd was Bethany. They have now split up so... I guess it's back on the table

scorpio1 · 02/06/2007 16:03

Ahh, lovely names

lissie - i know a Bethany; its a lovely name and she is very beautiful

i dont have a middle name for Jasper ideas??

tigerschick · 02/06/2007 16:03

It's pil's 40th anniversary this October. We're having a picture of the grandkids done for them... I bet I get a bfp the day after it's taken!!

meto · 02/06/2007 16:04

we're not talking about names yet - althou for a girl I think it will still be per DS's girls name, either pheobe or isobel with sally as a middle name, and for a boy i'm liking jeremy but DH dosen't so no ideas there

lissie · 02/06/2007 16:06

what does your surname begin with?

meto · 02/06/2007 16:06

mine? an M

scorpio1 · 02/06/2007 16:06

a C

spugs · 02/06/2007 16:07

I like William for a boy but I change my mind a lot, My dd2 was Eve till the day I went into labour when I decided she was an Amelia. dd1s name stuck from as soon as i found out she was a girl - Ella (after the jazz singer)

tigerschick · 02/06/2007 16:07

dd hasn't got a middle name as we couldn't decide on one. So if we have another dd we wouldn't give her one either. But a ds would have to have Christopher as it's a family name for dh.

spugs · 02/06/2007 16:07

J

scorpio1 · 02/06/2007 16:07

but i want it to be a normal name iyswim, our surname is quite unusual.

also, ds2 name is Jamie - is it too similar?

lol at us discussing names!

tigerschick · 02/06/2007 16:08

Can I ask Scorpio, do your dc have your name or your dp's? It's very topical on mn at the mo and I was just wondering. Anyone else not married?

scorpio1 · 02/06/2007 16:08

spugs your children have lovely names

scorpio1 · 02/06/2007 16:09

dp's surname. we always knew we were gonna get married so just as well. ds1 isn't his biological child - when we get married ds1 will also change his name.

lissie · 02/06/2007 16:11

when do you get married?

tigerschick · 02/06/2007 16:12

Cunning. I was just wondering as a lot of people seem to be asking at the moment. My G'dad is always confused by my cousin as tho she and her dp have been together for years and years their dc have her surname. I suppose it's just a matter of choice.

spugs · 02/06/2007 16:12

I wasnt married when we had dd1 but we knew we would get married so she got his name. Got married when she was 6 mths.

scorpio1 · 02/06/2007 16:15

in the process of booking it for Oct 08....the venue i really want only does weddings before May or after Sept, so we chose later (more time to save)

tigerschick · 02/06/2007 16:16

I'm glad that both I and dd have dh's name as my maiden name wouldn't go with any of my favourite names lol!

tigerschick · 02/06/2007 16:17

I sometimes wish I'd got married later in the year as there were some gorgeous dresses for winter weddings. But mine was pretty nice too

lissie · 02/06/2007 16:24

we got married in april on the hottest day of 2004! i had a full skirted dress with petticoats and white long gloves (v audey hepburn) and ended up shedding layers at the reception (and got so drunk that i opened the £250 bottle of champagne that was a gift from my workmates (i was a restaurant manager) and passed out in full regalia without taking one sip.

im dead classy me!
