Have been slowly coming off antidepressants and stopped taking the pill (using condoms) to get body back to normal ready to try for no.2 in June, also started taking pregnacare. I know its early to start posting but got my first proper period today so just been on site to check fertile dates for months again and think we're going to go for it in June - ooooooooooooo, very excited. Just wondered if there was anyone else out there planning way ahead cos i wouldn't talk to anyone in RL life about it so far ahead, other than dh!

bloody ladies things [grr]

lissie · 02/06/2007 14:58

i cant help thinking that i might have ov'd late. remarked to dh that i didnt get any ov pains on the 20th when i should have, but got what felt like them on the 23rd instead.

meto · 02/06/2007 14:58

hiya all,

I was with you on the april thread but got a bit down this month with ttc, my body decided that CD18 was too late to OV, so instead this month I ov'ed on CD15, thankfully DH came home from his ex on CD15 (was really gutted about OV''ing early as well till he walked in the door! lol) only managed once, so not expecting anything - poor thing had only had 15 hours sleep form the monday morning (this was late friday night! lol) so we shall see what happens - not hopeful althou I say that every month and go thru a million tests seeing! lol.

good news is he's not away this coming cycle at all, so hoping OV will be over a weekend again - DS will deffo be getting sent to his nanna's house! lol. I WILL DO IT THIS COMING CYCLE. I WILL!!!!

anyhow AF is due thurs/fri of this week I think (around CD28 ish so should be CD28 and i'm currently CD23)

Afternoon ladies

What are we all doing inside on a lovely day like this? Or do you have clever wireless type things?

Anyway - I agree about the acronyms but do find it easier as, on the whole they are shorter (af=2 letters, period=6) and it's easier when reading quickly if everyone uses the same. But I'd be happy to back a campaign to chuck 'em out!

No sign of anything here, but am I surprised? Not had much sex () lately as both exhausted and dh's knee still not good, which affects comfort iykwim.

Ah well, hope all is well, sorry things are up in the air for you both, Scorpio and Lissie. Hope you get some clarification soon xxx

tigerschick · 02/06/2007 15:04

Hi meto - fingers crossed for you. Is dh army, navy or raf?

lissie · 02/06/2007 15:04

hi meto (i remember you)
hi tigers, how are you?

meto · 02/06/2007 15:07

army. pain in the F***ing arse! we're in a place where he's sent away a lot and it's for mon- thurs things as well, come summer we'll be lucky if he's home at this rate - they keep saying 8 lads areleaving his bit, but none are coming in (they're already under anned by 22 or soemthing so the one's who are there end up doing tonnes.) still least it's not as bad as some places/of his mates (some have been away 3 weeks a month at the mitnue )

meto · 02/06/2007 15:07

hi lissie.

tigerschick · 02/06/2007 15:07

Hi lissie - I'm not too bad ta. Would be better if dd, at 14 mo, had worked out how to sleep thru the night But ho-hum... even if I did get pg tonight she'd have another 9 months to work it out before I had a new born to worry about

Egg · 02/06/2007 15:08

Hello everyone, just checking to see how you are all getting on. Lissie and Scorpio, you must be going mad. Lissie when will you test, assuming period does not arrive (I hate saying AF, but as everyone else does, I do it too, I mean who the f**k is Aunt Flo anyway, wasn't she on that programme Bod when we were little).

Hello meto, when you say DH came home from his ex on CD15, I am presuming you dont mean his ex partner???? What does ex mean?

Today I have no pains, and feel fine except tired. But that could be because DH got back from a wedding at midnight and was talking crap for ages..... .

tigerschick · 02/06/2007 15:10

That's crap meto. My db is in the army and my parents taught in SCE schools so I was brought up 'near' the army so I know what it's like. Are you on a camp or do you have to manage on your own when he's away? Hope he gets posted somewhere better soon.

tigerschick · 02/06/2007 15:11

Egg - ex is short for exercise - army type stuff
Glad you're better today.

lissie · 02/06/2007 15:12

pmsl egg!

will test on mon if no sign of it, bit worried now tho coz have booked my HSG xray for the 11th on the premise that i got a bfn yesterday. oops

tigerschick · 02/06/2007 15:14

Lissie - sorry if I'm being thick but what is HSG? And why are you being xrayed? Hope you don't mind me asking

scorpio1 · 02/06/2007 15:15

oh everyone is here now!! people!!

tigerschick · 02/06/2007 15:16

Yeah Scorpio - thought you'd taken the hump and buggered off

lissie · 02/06/2007 15:17

this explains what it is and what its for better than i can.

scorpio1 · 02/06/2007 15:18

me?? teasy?? (urr...yeah actually!)

nah, just bit lonely today. dp should be home in a ouple of hours though.been in town this morning - no way am i going out again this afternoon - tourists are down now!

what has everyone else been doing today? i've been working out our budget for the month

meto · 02/06/2007 15:19

egg - no sorry heven forbid, we've been together 8 years! lol. it's excercise he's always away.

tc - mines 15 months it gets easier when they sleep thru but then the odd night when they don't it's really hard. we're on a camp it's v big lots going on loads of things to do with DS etc. so we manage ok - the pain is thou when DH is away DS gets unsettled iycwim. can't say too much as it will make it obv who I am, and RL people on here know me iycwim

lissie · 02/06/2007 15:19

at MIL's she's cuddling ds while i mn without interruption and read her posts i think she'd like

meto · 02/06/2007 15:22

I had a hsg done lissie pre DS - had it CD 10 I think it was (or there abouts) OV'ed late, but got a BFP - had a m/c thou at 5 weeks, then told DH i'd had enough didn't want to know anything more as I felt the whole thing (coupled with other fertility things I had going on) was too invasive and said we shouldn't try any more, anyhow next month another BFP and 8 months later DS was born (I wouldn't ahve minded but it was the only month we'd not really had any sex! lol)

lissie · 02/06/2007 15:24

what was it like meto?

tigerschick · 02/06/2007 15:29

Ah, now I understand lissie. Thanks.

Scorpio - We've been doing house/garden domestic stuff really. Dh is working which means he's at work 4-10.30ish then 2.30-6.30ish. But I put dd in the paddling pool for the first time earlier - she loved it. Doing the ironing [yuck] while watching rugby and 'talking' to you lot Talk about multi-tasking

spugs · 02/06/2007 15:30

Hiya everyone, apparently bd stands for baby dancing which sounds a bit wrong. I propose (on this thread) we call bd shagging/sex and af period/painters.
Scorpio - Im jealous of your sarnie, I ended up with a Maccy Ds (ohh the shame) still feeling rougth though so having a glass of wine to settle my stomach. (when its hot your allowed to drink at 3.30 pm

tigerschick · 02/06/2007 15:31

Totally agree spugs. Wish I had some in now.
