Geees this thread speeds along when you're away for a bit!

Sorry I wasn't about much last week, but I'm trying to keep my mind of af's arrival.

Big congrats to:

Any news Scorpio? I've got everything crossed for you!

I have been symptom spotting like a crazy mad woman. I can't helping thinking about every tiny little thing like feeling a bit sick, having a sore back or a twinge and wondering if it could be pg related! But I just don't reckon May's gonna be my month I'm afraid.. we will see.

I am due on Tuesday CD33, so keep everything crossed that af doesn't arrive for me!

plummymummy · 20/05/2007 17:01

Have my fingers crossed for you for tuesday. Aren't you tempted to test early? I tested 4 days early - I am so impatient.

sweetkitty · 20/05/2007 18:14

afternoon all had some bad news today DP's aunt passed away last night so we had to go down to our hometown today, am utterly shattered as DD2 was up at 5.30am this morning which is very unlike her.

CD13 here already don't know whether to BD tonight or not although am very tired, TMI but discharge is already starting to increase a lot today so I reckon OV will be in the next few days.

flumpytigger - hiya was wondering where you were will keep everything crossed for you for Tuesday

scorpio - you ok honey?

flosspot - any news?

plummymummy · 20/05/2007 20:29

So sorry to hear this sweetkitty

scorpio1 · 20/05/2007 22:10

just a quick note to say have re-tested and is a bfn, clearblue digital says so, as does another brand of cheapy tests. those other cheapy tests must have showed it up anyway, i have thrown them away!!so im cd31 today, just waiting for period and to do this all over again! i am going to not pop on here so much because it stresses me and makes me feel crap sometimes.i have to keep reminding myself that its not a race; i am trying to make a baby, and if it takes a little time, then hey, its worth it. thats my mantra anyway, after all, it has only been 12 weeks since coil removal!thats not long at all.

thanks for all of caring and asking

Plummy - how're you feeling?

Tiger - you ok? youre quiet.....

Sweetkitty- sorry to hear of your news hoping you're all ok.

Flumpy-fingers crossed!

hope the rest of you are well

plummymummy · 20/05/2007 23:29

Shit. So sorry Scorpio about your bfn but af still not here so still hope. I can understand what you mean about not wanting it to be a race cos much as you feel happy for others of course you want one yourself - that's why we all joined the thread in the first place. I am still hoping you will join the new year thread but if not, I want to hear lurid details about your night out clubbing (remember, I was to drink loads of wine and eat prawns and you were going clubbing). Actually I did eat prawns this week. My book says it's ok as long as they are cooked and have a use by date on the pack. Drank alcohol free beer last night - yuk! I hope you get an answer one way or the other as those long cycles must be stressful

Oh Scorpio. I was really hopeful for you there! I hope your hormones settle down soon. Mine had a bit of a hormone-festival after I came off the pill but they did revert to normality (and the result is 5 today!).

How are you Sweetkitty?

Flumpy? Flospot? ???

plummymummy · 21/05/2007 10:20

Was wondering about skibump too. Hope she is ok.

scorpio - so sorry about your BFN but as you said it's very early days for you after getting the coil removed so your body probably needs a few more cycles to get into the swing of things

anniemac - sorry to hear about your BFN too but at least your GP is starting to look into things for you

thanks for your thoughts, DPs aunt was nearly 80 and it was very quick whilst it's a shock it's the best way. Everything else is fine just went and bought the DDs new shoes this morning, cute little summer canvas ones but they are still so expensive, keep thinking eek imagine when we have 3 to buy shoes for, hope it's a girl then she can have all her sisters clothes and shoes.

big hellos to everyone else too

Flumpytigger · 21/05/2007 20:49

Hi All,

Sorry about your Dp's Aunt kitty. Although it was a shock you're right about it being the best way to go. That's how I'd like to go.. a nice long life and no suffering for me or my family at the end.

Scorpio there's still hope! But I know what you mean about not wanting to feel like it's a race. I kind of have mixed feelings about the thought of getting pregnant too quick. Probably for different reasons to you, but I worry that I might not have grieved properly for my lost little boy and whether I'll regret rushing to get pregnant in such a short space of time

I'm feeling quite emotional today, but that could be a combination of af and hormones etc. I don't feel pregnant so af will prob arrive on cue tomorrow!

(Flummy Whispers to Plummy I did a test 4 days ago because I had a crazy 'I feel pregnant moment'. I felt so silly and embarrassed after I got a bfn )

Hello fruitfil.. just waiting for af now, only 1 day to go!!

Hello to everyone else, thanks for all the crossed fingers! Will keep you posted

So sorry anniemac . You're not the only one who thought number two would be easy - I was shocked at the stubborn attitude of my ovaries and uterus! June is a lovely month so hope it's a lucky one for you.

fruitful · 22/05/2007 10:37

Aww Anniemac. I had it the other way around - dd took ages, ds was first try (that was a shock). But this one was 4 cycles - so maybe June will be your month!

Flumpy - I got a BFN on Wed, and a very faint BFP with a sensitve 10mIU test on Friday, AF due Monday (yesterday) ...

plummymummy · 22/05/2007 10:45

Flumpy I think I did my first test when I was 6 days pre af! It was negative but I still carried on testing as I just felt something was going on down there iyswim. Got a positive 4 days early but it was week. The lines gradually got stronger. Keeping fingers crossed for you.

plummymummy · 22/05/2007 10:45

Good afternoon ladies

Not been here since Friday and it feels like ages! It's taken me ages to catch up with everything!

Scorpio - sorry for your bfn. Here's hoping that something happens soon for you.

Annie - af is a cow isn't she? See you on the June thread I reckon.

Sweetkitty - Sorry about your dp's aunt. Hope everyone is ok.

Plummy - glad to hear you are doing OK.

Fruitfull - glad to hear you're ok too.

Flumpytigger - how are you today? Any sign of af?

Pobletsmum - Hope you are ok and the antibiotics are working. Your infections sound horrid.

Minnow - Welcome and fingers crossed for you.

Everyone else - hope you are all well and happy. Who is testing next?

Right - DH is off work at the minute with a bad knee. This means that I haven't been/won't be able to come on here much.
I have a rather strange situation as well as this. Sorry for TMI ...
On Thursday I got a bfn (tested simply because I was curious so not really worried) Later on Thursday I had some dark reddish-brown cm, only on the paper, not enough for a pad. There was slightly more on Friday, still the same colour, and it is still the same now. I never had spotting before dd and my afs were straight in full-flowing very heavy and lasting anything up to 2 weeks. So what the hell is this???? Does this sound familiar to anyone? I know I'm not pg but is this af or something else? If it is something else then any ideas as to what it is? I've got my scan a week on Thurday and I'm back at the gp on the 12th so I'll probably talk to him about it then if it doesn't develop into a 'proper' af before then. Just thought I'd say about it on here in case anyone else has had something similar.

jhyesmum · 22/05/2007 16:00

Hi Ladies.

For those who have been through the journey of my mum with me:

She died yesterday evening with me,my dad and my sister with her. She was so so peaceful and now in no pain.

We are all in bits and we will miss her terribly but we are releived her ordeal is over.

Sorry to dump this on the TTC thread, but you girls have been fab.

Still no AF either!!

plummymummy · 22/05/2007 16:16

So very very sorry for your awful loss . I do remember she was ill and had wondered because you hadn't posted for a while. Words are inadequate at a time like this but thinking of you and your family.

tigerschick · 22/05/2007 17:10

Oh jhyesmum, I'm so very sorry. I hope that you and your family really can take some positive in that your mum isn't suffering anymore.

You are all in our thoughts.

kensgirl · 22/05/2007 18:38

Dear Jhyesmum- just wanted you to know how very sorry I am to hear your news. I know there is nothing I can say to make you feel any better, but thought it might help to know others are thinking of you and do care.... stay strong xx
