tbh sweetkitty, i was so out of it thats its all a bit blurry. do remember the shoulder pain from internal bleeding after the removal of the ep, that was v scary indeed. still any baby dust gratefully received!

lissielou · 14/05/2007 16:26

lol plummy know what you mean. i cried when mrsmcj got hers and dont do that for rl peeps

plummymummy · 14/05/2007 16:28

Scorpio - did you mean what do people think of first response tests? I did one last month (got a twin pack) and all I can tell you is that it correctly told me I wasn't pregnant. This month I bought Tesco own twin pack (have one left to use tomorrow if no spotting before then) but if I was to get the faintest of lines I would test with clearblue digital as well. Can't go wrong with those.

sweetkitty · 14/05/2007 16:32

I wish I had found mumsnet when ttc DD1, it was a very lonely 9 months as no one really knew we were ttc and every month was when AF turned up and I did get a bit neurotic with it all. DP thinks he has supersperm after it took one BD with DD2 but I'm not so sure, men eh? It is so lovely when others get bfp especially if they have had a difficult time getting there.

Better go and wake DD2 from her nap or she won't sleep tonight, DD1 is making trains from my sofa cushions

Soph73 · 14/05/2007 16:34

Plummy - 34, eek! However, like you, I definately wasn´t ready when I was younger.

sweetkitty - my first time on a ttc thread as well and you´re right it is exciting & you feel more inclined to tell a complete stranger the "ins and outs" (iyswim, lol!)

lissielou - lots of babydust being sent via express airmail for you

lissielou · 14/05/2007 16:34

lol, dh struts around bragging about his supersperm too men

Soph73 · 14/05/2007 16:43

Well, nearly time to go home so better start tidying up! Speak to you all tomorrow. Have great nights everyone

lissielou · 14/05/2007 16:46

tigerschick · 14/05/2007 16:56

Hi Scorpio - Can't believe I type so slowly that I x posted with you this morning!! Anyway, glad to hear that you are happy and well. When is your af due? Any inkling either way?

I think you lot have got me symptom spotting now!! No I can't blame you lot but I'm definately alot more aware of symptoms this time around. When I was expecting dd I didn't realise that I was pg until I was 8 weeks, despite having really achy boobs, being tired and being really grumpy with dh. I know at my lack of awareness!?! So now I know what to look for ... well ... I'm looking for it!! Ah well. Maybe the scan on the 31st will be a dating scan ... NO must not get ahead of myself!

Right, enough prattling. Gotta go.

lissielou · 14/05/2007 16:57

what is your scan for tiger?

Housemum · 14/05/2007 18:33

Hi there - really sorry to butt in on the thread, so please feel free to ignore me but don't be horrible to me! I just thought I'd ask if anyone was interested in some vitamins - all in sealed packets - that I no longer require? for sale thread

I tjust seemed a shame to throw them away.

Anyway - good luck to all of you - I didn't post on here but certainly found good advice and morale boosters whilst trying for nearly 3 years (and succeeding so there is hope)

tigerschick · 14/05/2007 19:03

Lissielou - It's to see if there is a reason why my cycle is so long and irregular. I'm actually quite impressed with my gp coz I went to him at the beginning of April and explained that it took over 3 years to conceive dd and I didn't want to wait that long for dc#2. He didn't try and fob me off with any 'wait and see' stuff that I hear a lot about on here, he just said that dd was evidence that 'things' do work, but not very well. So he booked me in for the scan. So now it's just a matter of waiting for the results and hoping they show something that can be treated.

scorpio1 · 14/05/2007 19:05

Hi everyone,

It's great to hear everyone's news - about DCs, holidays etc. Now all we need is a few more BFPs

I have set my CDs back where they should be - they jumped ahead at some stage - if only! Boobylicious - I've set you at CD 12 is that right? - weds b4 last? I think that's what you said?
