So frustrating - did a babymad test today. Saw the faintest of faintest of faint lines next to the control line but I really had to scrutinise it. I used my last Tesco one last night . I am going to have to wait til thursday now. Mind you, I did work out that if I was pg it would not even be 5 weeks yet.

lissielou · 15/05/2007 08:42

oh plummy. could you go and see your gp? see if they can give you a blood test?

scorpio1 · 15/05/2007 09:20

Plummy - wait until the line is screaming at you!! hopeful for you though,is it af due day today ?

CD1

I have decided to stop trying for a while as i'm getting really depressed about it and keep thinking there is something wrong with me, i am getting paranoid and stupid. i keep thinking every month that i'm pregnant then get really let down when i'm not and in the back of my head i know i'm not ifswim. So i'm having a few months break. I wish everyone to get a bfp soon and sprinkle you all with babydust. I'll keep my eye on the thread now and again but mostly good luck all.

I shall miss you all. xxx

scorpio1 · 15/05/2007 13:17

you havent been trying long though have you??

i hope your break goes well for you, and that you get your magical bfp.i know the feeling of it taking over your every moment.sorry it is your cd1

take care x

pinkslippers · 15/05/2007 13:28

no but it feels like i have been trying along time. lol. I know there's people that try for years and i don't know how they get through it. I think maybe i want it too much and perhaps that's why it's not working as i'm thinking about it too much iyswim. i sound crazy now. i think for my mental well being i need to stop for a while and enjoy the children that i do have i will try again soon just not now. i'm only 28 and there's still time. thanks for all advice everyone .

Hey...I forgot I had popped in on you all a few days (quite a few days) back.

To update you all, after 2 bad months with a new pill, dh & I decided to TTC#2. This is our first month & all we were all for leaving it to fate for a while.

I am not sure what you do & don't share, so I will fill you in along the lines of other posts I have read.......Well, am on CD15, according to my sums, today & the next 2 are my optimum time. We are doing all the right things, but trying not to get to hung up about it all.....sorry if TMI.

So much for leaving it to fate

sandcastles · 15/05/2007 14:15

Am on CD13, not 15!

Thanks anniemac....wasn't going to get to hung up about it all, but am quite excited about it now!

lissielou · 15/05/2007 14:48

lol no such thing as fate where ttc is concerned

sandcastles · 15/05/2007 14:51

lol...I know Lissie....

We were happy to let it all be, but I can't help but get into all the date/symptoms & signs straight away!

lissielou · 15/05/2007 14:53

ive thrown out all dhs trunk boxers and he now has loose ones and he as to take mans vits every day. why should i be the only one?

sandcastles · 15/05/2007 14:56

very true....dh started takling vits ages ago & wears boxers (tmi...he'd die if he knew I was discussing his underwear here), so not a great deal to change this time round!

lissielou · 15/05/2007 14:59

lol. the best was dh moaning about having to give samples at the hospital. he gets to spank his monkey, i get some spotty 12y old shoving dye up my fanjo (tmi, sorry)

sandcastles · 15/05/2007 15:01

not at all....it is just so different....why do they get all the 'fun'!

My friend has been ttc for years (PCOS) and is very peeved at how her dh seems to get the better deal with all the tests!

Soph73 · 15/05/2007 15:41

sandcastles - good luck we are ttc2 as well. My dh also started taking the vits as soon as I did, which he moans about practically every day. He only ever wore boxers anyway, so didn´t need to change anything there

anniemac - I know what you mean about becoming obsessed. I try not to talk to dh about it too often otherwise he starts to get p**d off with me and then I wouldn´t see any action (lol)

pinkslippers - if you´re still there, good luck, will think of you often, I´m sure it´ll happen when you least expect it
