Hi all,
Although I'm on the TTC 3 thread, thought I would join you guys too for some more support. Inbrief, have 2 DSs, 4.5yrs and 2yrs. Started trying in Jan, got pregnant straight away, but misc. in Feb. Now on CD 9 and feeling crap! D + V going round the family. Thankfully friend has taken older DS for a few hours and other DS is asleep. Think I may try and have a kip now myself.
Good luck to all TTC in May, hope there is some good news.

Soph73 · 27/04/2007 11:43

Hi Karma, sorry to hear that you´re not feeling too good. Hope you feel better soon and that you´re managing to get some kip!

Afternoon all. Well good luck to everyone this weekend . I´m signing off for the weekend now and unfortunately I´ll be setting down with a very large glass of wine, the cat and 'The Queen' DVD as hubby is off on a boys night. Enjoy!!

Soph73 · 27/04/2007 14:58

That should have been 'settling'. Byeeee!

plummymummy · 27/04/2007 15:07

Anniemac I know how you feel. Ds is doing really well with potty training too. Mind you, I think he is taking the pooing a bit far now. He has been doing about 5 a day I think he is doing it to get our approval, but I'm starting to worry about his poor bowels. Tigerschick, I'm still bleeding and it's CD8 (brown rather than red but blood nonetheless). My last cycle was 24 days. I will check an ovulation calendar but I reckon now is about the time I should be trying.

plummymummy · 27/04/2007 15:09

Karma, I hope you feel better soon. Scorpio, enjoy the pub.
Soph - I will be joining you for a large glass of wine

scorpio1 · 27/04/2007 15:35

soph- isaw the queen the other day and really didnt like it!have a nice quiet night in anyway

MrsMcJnr · 27/04/2007 17:07

Thanks Wheely temp didn?t rise this morning though we?ll just have to see!

PlummyMummy ? I read about a lady who OV when she still had AF in Toni Weschler?s book. Do you know when you OV? Just wondering which phase of your cycle is short; AF to OV or OV to AF. If it is the later, it can be an issue but there are ways to try to increase it. Short cycle for the right reasons means more chances to succeed over time though!

Tigerschick In the past I have had 2 +ive OPKs per cycle so was surprised to get only one and therefore so little warning, only about 12 hours! We?ll just have to see. Have a lovely birthday!

Boobylicious ? hope AF is not too horrid if she arrives

Soph73 ? I agree about the extra pressie! Men hey!

More from me later!

karma · 27/04/2007 17:17

Thanks for those kind words, much needed as I was feeling sorry for myself. Not too bad now, managed to get a bit of rest and thankfully no more vomit (from anyone!!)
Hope hubbie doesn't come down with it - I'm hoping for some action over the next few days! (can't believe how selfish that sounds but you know what I mean, I hope!)

wheelybug · 27/04/2007 17:18

MrsMc - does a rise in temp mean you have OV? Am i right in thinking you are using the OPKs from Access Diagnostics ? I have a pretty rubbish month using those as you'll see from my rant on the 'after m/c thread'.

Annie/Plummy - no more talk of potty training please, I am getting pressure to do it here . How old are your dcs ?

Scorpio - hope your w/e goes ok ...

Welcome karma..

Hello everyone else !

oh bum (excuse the pun) - I thought you were going to say 2.6 or something ... or at least older than 2.3 (like wot my dd is) . Funny though you say she is girly girly - dd isn't and loves messy things and I've said all along she wouldn't potty train easily. We talk about it and she does sometimes talk about wearing pants so guess we'll get there one day ... when I can be ar$ed .

wheelybug · 27/04/2007 20:10

apologies everyone else for turning this into a potty training thread...

Hope you feel much better soon Karma

Wheely - rise in temp doesn?t necessarily mean that but I have been looking for a rise above my coverline to indicate that OV has happened but do not have it yet. I?ve discussed the OPKs with you on the other thread.

meto · 28/04/2007 08:04

YAY my body's not broke! seem I have OV'ed late this month cos I have a nice O sign on my moniter - now DH is ment to be going out with friends this avo mums down around 10 am ish what's a girl to do?????? knew we should have bd'ed last night but I was soooo tired. since when does OV''ing make you tired and hormonal?? anyhow if my Cycle is still 28 says that means a LP of 10 days - is that long enough does any one know? - I thought it was ment to be 14 days

anyhow off to change the boy and then come abck and catch up. YAY!!! I have an O.

goingfor3 · 28/04/2007 08:15

Good to hear you ov'd! YOu may find that you still have a 14 day luteual phase. My LP seems to be 11 days, my cycle before ov varies in length but not after.

plummymummy · 28/04/2007 14:06

Mrs McJ - hmm, not sure really as I am a bit ignorant in these matters. I reckon ovulation is about half way through (judging by cm) so for example, if I got my period on day 1, I ovulate around day 11, then get my period around day 23.

Wheely - ds is 3 at end of June so quite old. Tried it a few times but he cracked it in last few weeks.

scorpio1 · 28/04/2007 16:08

Good afternoon.so i am still alive at present, although she has sent dss round with headlice so been sorting that out for him again.its not his fault though .anyway, cd9 here and getting some practise in!

everyone else ok? tiger-how are you and your weekend away?

pinkslippers · 28/04/2007 21:52

CD 16 i think.??

Hello all well done for all bfp and sorry for all those that still awaiting for a bfp.

I haven't been on ehre much as i was getting really obsessed with it and constantly thinking and wonder if that made a difference. Or I am totally going bonkers lol. I think this is the 3 month of trying now. I fell really quickly before so I am paranoid something is wrong. lol.

Been to my sisters today for a bbq, which was lovely, she showed me her scan pics and it was amazing and so beautiful, made me feel even more broodier than i am already. My b in law said our turn next. I don't think it will happen this month haven' treally bedded alot and i sort of put concieveing out of my head. But is always at the back of my mind also if that m akes sense. my sister is having a boy.

I just can't imagine not having more children, afew years ago i didn't want anymore but now i suppose i've met a new partner and would like to have his children too. And i suppose scared too that if i do fall pg again will i miscarry again.

Anyway i'll stop ranting and talking rubbish needed to get this out of my head.

Good luck all
