I'm CD29 and got a bfn on a clear blue this morning Sad but I have no clue where my cycle is because I stopped the pill mid-pack start of August. Used to have 28 day cycles pre-pill. But my body is doing something because I've had so many symptoms, which are either af or pregnancy. I kind of want af to show her face now so I can crack on!! Hate being in limbo.

PJsAndProsecco · 08/09/2017 08:00

Just realised I could potentially only be 11dpo. Is it possible to test neg at this point but still be pregnant? I think I may just leave it till weds now and if still no af test again?!

Impatientmummy36 · 08/09/2017 08:05

Feeling sick with panic, a bfn this morn on a clearblue digital. It's 4 days before period (period being 5th day) which is when a clear blue should detect pregnancy. (I did a frer yesterday which should have picked it up then as well, 5 days before, period being 6th day.)

I was so convinced.... the nausea, fatigue, weird sensation in boobs.... same as when I was pregnant.

Dreading af coming now because I think all the horror and disappointment after what happened last month has been postponed, and will come out this month...

PJsAndProsecco · 08/09/2017 08:18

@Impatientmummy36 don't panic! I think tests can be unreliable before af is due no matter what the brand. I've also heard the cb digitals are quite a high level of hormone to show up a true result so I wouldn't try one again until after af. Even first response isn't guarantee before af. Have a cuppa, breathe BrewFlowers

PJsAndProsecco · 08/09/2017 08:19

I'm very dubious I'm pregnant but I'm now leaving it a good few days to test again if no af. There's loads of women who haven't got a positive until a week after af due x

TeaPleaseBob · 08/09/2017 09:27

I'm out, AF arrived a day early. Fed up and booking gp appointment which I've been putting off for ages

Good luck everyone!

LadyPug · 08/09/2017 09:39

impatient I agree with prosecco just breathe ❤️ I'm on CD26 here and yet another bfn, going to try not to test for a few days as probably not pregnant! Chances so slim!

PJsAndProsecco · 08/09/2017 09:42

I feel the same @LadyPug very slim chance here. But we aren't out until af shows!

LadyPug · 08/09/2017 10:19

Good point prosecco

Nubian9454 · 08/09/2017 11:32

Ladies the mysteries of our bodies. It can be so cruel. I am cd39. NO AF AND BFN but POSITIVE OPK yet again. Prosecco my body also doing something I feel af should be here....cramping, now started o also have shooting pains in my boobs but this doesn't last. Still slight back ache and pain Down legs. HELP!!

Impatient there is still a chance.

Sorry about af Tea

cautiousoptimist1 · 08/09/2017 11:40

Congratulations squashy!

Sorry about AF tea.

Nubian, argh it must be so frustrating, hope you get some answers soon!

impatient, there's still a chance for you, be kind to yourself Flowers

AF due tomorrow here, I've been so tempted to test early but haven't yet. I'm hoping it's our month as I had weird pains and 2 days of very light bleeding but no other symptoms yet. I was expecting the heightened smell again as I had that last time but no sign of that so who knows. And if I'm successful next month instead then the due date would be exactly the same as with my LO - is it odd that I've already figured that out?! Grin

Nubian9454 · 08/09/2017 11:53

Cautious you are disciplined! No way I could hold out on testing.

Fingers crossed for you xx

roseandtime · 08/09/2017 13:59

Wow, huge congrats to everyone with their BFP!! It's so exciting, enjoy it, sticky baby dust to you all!

I'm about 5dpo I think, so still waiting...! Agh x

Impatientmummy36 · 08/09/2017 16:51

Thanks everyone x trying not to panic. It's just worse this month as the expectation is sky high whereas normally I'm prepared for failure anyway!

Nubian this must be torture for you...?! Sorry if you've already said but can GP do tests to find out why/if this is happening?

Cautious good luck testing tomorrow you have iron will but your method is a healthier one (mental health wise!) I think

I've had a totally shitty day (bfn this morn.... then crazed woman having a go at me, loudly and in front of everyone in softplay centre, as my little boy apparently grabbed her daughter on slide (he's 3)) now OH stuck in paris, delayed flight home, and some truly terrible 3 yr old behaviour as we near bedtime.... can't wait for today to be over!

PJsAndProsecco · 08/09/2017 17:05

Ah no @Impatientmummy36 sorry it's been a crappy day!! Sending BrewCakeFlowers

Well I'm still well and truly in limbo, I'm cd29 but no idea on cycle length. No signs whatsoever of af, and today I had a bfn this morning but this afternoon my nausea has been more obvious than it has since last week Confused if this is PMS I hope the nausea doesn't stick around!! Thinking of testing again Sunday?! Or Monday? If no af.

Nubian9454 · 08/09/2017 17:32

Impatient sorry you had a rough day. Cup of tea and piece of cake might help once little one on bed. I will make an appointent with GP next. Everyday I think...maybe today...maybe af will be here. I have lost all hopes of getting a bfp during this very long cycle.

A the best to those waiting to test.

Lots of baby dust x

LopeyLopez · 08/09/2017 18:29

Congratulations Squashy and boomerang- great news!

I think I'm 6 dpo but ff now decided I ovulated later and is saying I'm 3 dpo...! It's going off my temps, but tbh I don't think they're very reliable...they're all over the place! Can't see any clear pattern. I guess because I'm still up in the night with lo at least once a night, so hard to get an accurate reading with the required number of hours of 'rest'!

Good luck to all waiting to test or suffering the 2ww like me xx

impatient my LO has had an awful bedtime tonight too, she's been screaming since before her bath which is not like her. It's coming up to an hour now and she's still shouting. I think she's uncomfortable somehow but not sure if she's constipated or teething! Confused

Impatientmummy36 · 08/09/2017 19:25

thanks ladies xx

Cautious poor little thing, yours is still only little? So many things at that age... teeth....tummies...

Mine is 3 and he's so good, but lately there are times he gets silly and pushes or grabs other children, or pulls my hair, grabs me when he's tired. To be honest it's only when we go to a soft play and he gets a bit crazy so I just avoid going there. He's so loving and gentle with other kids but today he really lashed out. Today was unavoidable to meet some people so I had to risk going. Wish I hadn't!

Question is though - does anyone else worry the anxiety of ttc is affecting your LO?! He must sense it, and I know I'm sometimes not as patient as I normally am when I'm worried about it... sorry, not wanting to add guilt to anyone's load here! Just wondering! X

Dottydolly2017 · 08/09/2017 19:52

I know that when AF arrives I'm emotional and maybe don't have as much patience. My little boy is 3 as well and will say "you ok mummy" if you ever look down

cautiousoptimist1 · 08/09/2017 21:13

impatient yes she's 15 months! I'm not sure what I'm letting myself in for by aiming for 2 under 2 (just!).

I do feel guilty about TTC, not for the anxiety but for the time that my LO would lose out on and maybe not having the same time with a second one. And I have no idea how any midwife appointments etc would work (I'm a SAHM).

Impatientmummy36 · 09/09/2017 07:41

Same here dotty. I suppose as long as they're not witnessing extremes it's fine for them to see some emotion... and it's lovely they can be empathetic.

Cautious I think whichever way you do it (a small age gap or bigger) there'll be challenges. Overall though, be glad you've started ttc sooner than later!! I blithely left it til he was 2 and 8 months (in Jan) before starting... and I'm still here now and feeling under immense pressure because of it!

BFN again this morn. 3 days before af due (circa tues on Ovia). But I think the writings on the wall. A CBD picked up the pregnancy at same point in last cycle so I don't think it's too early to test :(

Morning all ! x

MynameisJune · 09/09/2017 07:49

impatient try to not test again until nearer/after af as you'll get a more accurate answer. This early it's likely no test could pick up the hcg depending on implantation.

nubian I'm so sorry you're still in limbo, I know what it's like and it's worse than a bfn because you can't focus on moving on until you know what's happening.

I've had a shit week, not only did AF arrive but my whole company was put on redundancy notice on the same day. So now in work limbo not knowing who will still have a job come November.

MynameisJune · 09/09/2017 07:51

Sorry for a bfn again impatient every pregnancy is different though and if you're 11dpo and the egg implanted late say 10dpo there still won't be much hcg swimming around yet.

LadyPug · 09/09/2017 08:49

Hey impatient I'm also 3 days till af and had a bfn today so we are in the same boat! I'm not going to test now until af is due or the day after (she says! Strapping her arms down to prevent testing!) 😂
