Looks like lines to me! I got my faint positive on a Thursday and I wasn't due until weekend! Grin

cautiousoptimist1 · 07/09/2017 06:17

I see lines too squashy!

MynameisJune · 07/09/2017 06:45

Looks like a line tonne, congratulations!

Af arrived a day early today so I'm out this month. Will pop back in to see how everyone is getting on and join the October thread. Good luck all still waiting.

Boomerang456 · 07/09/2017 06:50

Morning, just popping in to update as I have now re-tested, and I didn't do anything silly like dismantling the test this time! And it looks ... Positive?! Pretty clear but faint line this time... Can't quite believe it!
Should I test again in a couple of days? AF would be due today on CD26

SquashyMummy · 07/09/2017 07:02

That looks more positive than mine boomerang. I guess we have to wait a few days and retest. Fingers crossed for us both!

Boomerang456 · 07/09/2017 07:11

Ooh, sorry I totally missed those pics above- I see lines too Squashy!

PJsAndProsecco · 07/09/2017 07:14

Congrats to the BFPs!!
Well no sign of af for me, CD 28 and the last time I stopped the pill I was 28 day cycles again right away.
Weirdly feeling no symptoms of AF today either, I've been crampy and feeling nausea on and off since Saturday so I was gearing myself up for AF. Still am, I think I may try and hold off testing until Sunday or Monday. My cycles could be longer. I definitely felt a pain that was either ovulation or late implantation last week so I know something is happening there. I just hate being in limbo!!

cautiousoptimist1 · 07/09/2017 07:26

Looks like a BFP to me Boomerang, congratulations! Smile

Nubian9454 · 07/09/2017 07:28

Positive for both you ladies! I see it clear as day. Congratulations Squashy and Boomerang. Wow this is definately a lucky thread. Very happy for you. Now what were your symptoms ladies??

Sorry about af June.

At cd 38 and no sign of af and and bfn can I dare hope that I ovulated very late and that I will get a late bfp?! Feels almost cruel.to have such hopes.

Impatientmummy36 · 07/09/2017 07:37

Thanks ladydolly I'm really interested in acupuncture and reflexology and an going to look into if I'm out this month, hope it helps you x

Hi Nubian sorry youre in this position in limbo waiting,it's torturous:( x

June I'm sorry it came, hope you're ok :( x

Boomerang & squashy yes I think ** congratulations may be in order...!? x

I've been stupid and tested this morn only to get a negative, but I'm still In limbo because af not due til tues so I also know it could be too early. 0r am I kidding myself?!

Karpuzkiz did you say you were testing negative before you got a faint positive, how far off af was that?! X

Boomerang456 · 07/09/2017 07:53

Thanks ladies! I really had counted myself out- was so upset and down over the weekend thinking it may never happen for me. Maybe it was the hormones exaggerating the anxiety? Am still feeling very cautious to see how this goes, but such a relief to see a line there.

Nubian, no real symptoms as yet although I have been feeling a bit pre-crampy like AF is on the way.
I really hope you find out either way soon- the worst thing is not knowing.

Keeping everything crossed for everyone still waiting - this time and for next cycle!

LadyPug · 07/09/2017 09:25

Wow! What a lucky lucky thread! Well done to the BFPs!!!!

LadyPug · 07/09/2017 10:37

Hey everyone, what cycle day did you test on? Is it too early to test on day 24?

Beansprout30 · 07/09/2017 10:57

Congrats Boomberang and Squashy! Can you remind us newbies what cycles you were on? This seems a lucky thread glad I jumped on

SquashyMummy · 07/09/2017 11:30

Thanks ladies. I'm still feeling quite tentative. I've bought a FRER and will test again tomorrow morning before I allow myself the get carried away.

This is cycle 5, but cycle 2 using OPKs and the first cycle that I think I both pinpointed ovulation properly and we had the opportunity to DTD several times.

I don't know if I've had any symptoms as I've had a really stressful week and insomnia/ no appetite as a result. In fact, I think we were going to have to put trying on hold due to bad news this week, so I have a mixed bag of emotions. Hopefully this is the little ray of light to see us through some tough months ahead. I hope this bean is sticky enough to ride through the stress.

Impatientmummy36 · 07/09/2017 11:35

Ladypug - I think it depends on your cycle length... so for someone with a short cycle, day 24 could be a long way after ovulation and only a few of days before their period due, so a positive may show up.

For me by cycles seem to be average 31 days so day 24 would be too early as it's still 8 days to period... hope that makes sense. You could try testing though? x

Boomerang456 · 07/09/2017 12:26

This is cycle 5 or 6 for us too I think- it's also the first one I think we've properly had our house in order in terms of getting ovulation and DTD dates lined up! Using the Ovia app helped with that... Also first month of taking the Pregnacare conception supplements, but that could just be coincidence.

Ladypug, I did my first test on CD23 and got very faint positive, but my cycles average around 26 days.

Squashy, sorry to hear you're having such a tough time of it this week- really hope this all goes smoothly for you

LadyPug · 07/09/2017 12:55

Thanks impatient and boomerang that helps loads. My period is due Tuesday I think so might be too early. Did a test but it came up immediately as negative. :-( got to try to wait until Monday really and take my mind off it. Only thing is I went to doctor today for suspected urine infection and she said my urine is clear and it could be implantation pain. Now I'm optimistic! Probably wrongly!!!!

Dottydolly2017 · 07/09/2017 19:22

Congratulations those with their BFPs I'm now on day 3 of brown spotting just wish AF would hurry up and arrive and get it over with

HappyHedgehog247 · 07/09/2017 20:40

Congratulations @boomerang and @squashy that is so exciting!! I'm on CD21 of a 30 day cycle. I am so impatient to test. Guessing I need to wait at least a few more days. Also have an event this weekend where would love to drink wine but shall be very cautious.

LadyPug · 07/09/2017 21:19

Hey HappyHedgehog I'm on day 24 and had a bfn today :-( hoping it's just too early!

TeaPleaseBob · 08/09/2017 01:00

Congratulations squashy and boomerang!

I'm trying to stop myself early testing as been feeling really tired and sicky past couple days. Also struggling to sleep but my DDs been full of the cold so probably just that/ pms. It's so hard not to symptom spot and convince yourself this is the cycle it's happened.
Oh well, nightshift tonight and tomorrow so that'll discourage any early testing I suppose. Hope your test was just a bit too early Lady and there's a BFP for you too this month.

SquashyMummy · 08/09/2017 05:16

Morning ladies, I did a FRER this morning and have been getting quite a lot of cm, so I'm more convinced now that it's actually happened. AF is due tomorrow or Sunday.

I'm going to tentatively move over to the ante natal thread but will pop back. Good luck to you all, but especially to the names that have been on here a while Lopey, cautious, kashykash, Nubian, mynameisjune
