Thanks for the warm welcome and good luck to everyone here

Dottydolly2017 · 05/09/2017 05:14

Just catching up, congratulations to those that have had there bfp. Freezingwinter I know what you mean about Kate I was upset when they announce George as I had just miscarried. I'm cycle 9 and starting to panic it's not going to ever happen for me. Af due in a week and I have promised myself I will not test as I can't see another negative. Anyone tried preseed I tried for for the first time this cycle

MynameisJune · 05/09/2017 07:10

Dotty totally get the not testing, af is due Friday and I'm not testing until I'm late if I get that far. We've used pre-seed for the last few cycles. I've heard good stuff about it but it hasn't given us a bfp yet.

I have a pelvic scan tomorrow and I'm terrified they will find something wrong although I guess that's the point.

Congrats to those with their bfp, fabulous news all.

cautiousoptimist1 · 05/09/2017 07:26

Welcome to the newcomers, you'll find a lot of support here.

I'm with you dotty in not testing until I'm late, I find AF much easier to deal with than a BFN. And I think I've said before that with my last pregnancy, I had a BFN at 2 days late so I'd pin too much hope on it I think.

I've had a bit of bleeding the last 2 days, more than spotting but not significant. I don't usually get spotting before AF but did last month. AF isn't due until the weekend but is it too late to be implantation?!

cautiousoptimist1 · 05/09/2017 07:28

June good luck for the scan tomorrow. Remember that the what ifs are worse than the knowing. It's great you're getting a scan and once you know if there's a problem, you know what you're working with. We'll all be thinking of you.

PJsAndProsecco · 05/09/2017 07:45

Hi ladies can I join in? I'm on my first month off the pill, when I went off the first time my cycles went straight back to 28 days, so I'm going on that assumption as it's the only thing to go off! If I do have a 28 day cycle af will be due Thursday. I'm not sure when I ovulated though, we've been on holiday with family last week so we dtd lots the week before. If I ovulated later I could have missed the boat this month. I've been having symptoms but not sure if it's my body adjusting to no pill. Argh! If no af I will test on Thursday. I'm gearing myself up for af though.

DragonsandDungeons · 05/09/2017 08:44

Pretty sure I'm in the tww now. Unsure how hopeful to be.

good luck to everyone!

DragonsandDungeons · 05/09/2017 08:45

June I had one yesterday and it was mostly reassuring. I'd been told I had a damaged tube on my left, turns out I don't and they had been seeing bowel...so try not to worry.

Nubian9454 · 05/09/2017 09:22

Boomerang have you tested again?

Dottydolly2017 · 05/09/2017 10:42

June good luck for the scan. I'm too worried to even make a doctors appointment as I think they will just tell me to lose weight and I'm already trying (I'm not huge but my bmi isn't what it's deemed healthy)

cautiousoptimist1 · 05/09/2017 11:04

Ah dotty please make an appointment if you think you need one. Explain that you're trying to lose weight but wonder if something else is going on, they might get the ball rolling. Were you the same weight with your first pg?

LadyPug · 05/09/2017 11:51

Hey everyone and welcome prosecco I have 7 days until I can test zzzz. It's going so slowly! When is everyone else next due to test?

UppityStitch · 05/09/2017 13:05

Hey @ladydolly. I hope you're well? Second cycle TTC since copper coil was removed at the start of August. I've resurrected my Persona machine so hopefully it helps. I'm currently on CD9 so I've got a while to go. Gonna tentatively start BD today dependant on below;

Sorry, bit TMI, since AF started just over a week ago I've been very itchy and sore/burning downstairs. My first thoughts were thrush and I rushed over to Tesco pharmacy to buy every product in sight before my window appears. Lovely lady pharmacist has convinced me it's not thrush as I only have itching, no discharge or pain on urination. She said to not go full force with the Canesten in case I disturb the balance down there and to try Vagisil. Been using it since Sunday and it's got better but the soreness is still there at times. What the actual hell is it as I'm worried now?

LadyPug · 05/09/2017 13:25

uppity could just be hormones, I had something similar and they tested me for everything - turned out it was just hormonal changes apparently!

Boomerang456 · 05/09/2017 13:38

Could it be an allergy to something uppity? Like a new shower gel or something? Hope it clears up quickly for your window!

Nubian, I haven't re-tested yet! Just been to buy new tests but am going to wait til tomorrow morning or maybe even Thursday just to try and get as clear response as possible!

Welcome to the newcomers and good luck June, with your scan.

MynameisJune · 05/09/2017 14:13

Thanks all! Hi prosecco, hope you're stay here is a short one.

Been getting back ache which is usually a pre af symptom to me so I'm guessing af will be right on time.

Dotty please don't be scared to book an appointment due to weight. My bmi is above what it should be my gp didn't really mention it as it's very similar to what it was when I was pregnant before. For me as much as it scares me I need to know if something is wrong even if it means knowing we'll never have more children. I would rather know than put myself through TTC indefinitely.

KashyKash · 05/09/2017 14:16

Hi everyone, I've just been trying catch up after a few days offline. Wow, what a lot has happened!! Congratulations Mother on your bfp, I'm really happy for you!! And welcome to all the newbies! I've been having a long weekend away with friends so haven't been thinking about ttc or taking my temp and it has been nice. I think I ovulated on Friday but as I've stopped temping I'm not completely sure. I might just stop for the rest of the cycle and try to relax a bit more about it. Feeling very positive after all the good news on this thread! Good luck to all still waiting x

MrsWallace83 · 05/09/2017 14:29

Hello :-) new to mum's net! Are any of these ovulation tests positive? Hopefully I have posted in the right place! 😂
Right is control line, left test line
Thanks!! Good luck to all of you!

TTC #2 (September BFPs)
Nubian9454 · 05/09/2017 14:45

Hi Mrswallace the bottom 2 appear positive.

Boomerang you are strong. I would not be able to hold out! But keep as posted.

Dotty I feel exactly the same way. Scared GP will talk about my weight. But I still have not come on and wondering if I should just bite the bullet and go. It's better to know then not to know.

blessedwithaboy · 05/09/2017 15:22

Hi everyone! I am TTC too! Baby #2 😃 only just started trying at the end of last month.. . I fell pregnant quick with my 1st... hope I can be lucky again! 5 days until AF is due... possible evap line today on a strip test. (Pink dye) shall I take another tomorrow? Hope everyone gets BFP soon!! 😘😘😘

LadyPug · 05/09/2017 19:54

Help me girls... I'm too early to test (so what was I thinking?!) but the test was cheap. A line in the left box (where the pink line is means negative) a line in the right hand box also means positive. A line appeared but it's white!!! What do you think?!

TTC #2 (September BFPs)
LadyPug · 05/09/2017 20:06

Apparently it's an evaporation line :-( sorry to be silly!

Nubian9454 · 05/09/2017 20:08

Whire colourless is usually evap

LadyPug · 05/09/2017 20:12

Yes thanks Nubian, shows how much I know!!!

GotaDolly · 05/09/2017 22:53

I've missed out on loads of comments! Just getting used to how to use the app so I think the key is to bookmark where you last read then catch up from there! Nothing new to report as af not due until end of month but just checking in. Xx
