Yum was in need of a new thread, and I thought the title was apt because it's not just TCOYF charts anymore... hope it's ok?? I don't want anyone to think I am taking over

Just needing something, anything, to take my mind OFF my impending doom

City - It's lovely to hear you positive and happy!! Long may it continue! I am popping in to say that I may not be online for a bit... loads of final packing to do, and then don't know when we will have internet access next. Will endeavour to check in at the earliest possibility!! Will be thinking of you!! If you get your BFP please CAT me fingers crossed!!

3cats - Fingers crossed for you too... I do hope that you are still here ttc when I return!

Miss you both already

cityangel · 24/09/2007 21:32

Ready I won't be eligible for BFP for a month! Don't leave me :0( Are you heading south?

I'm off to work out how to Cat

3catstoo · 25/09/2007 11:01

Quick question....is bding every other day enough during the week of Ov?

3catstoo · 25/09/2007 11:03

We'll miss you Ready. Don't go for long will you.

Good luck with all the packing and moving.

Hi City, how are you this week?

3catstoo · 25/09/2007 11:03

Hi MrsMc too. Nice to see you popping over for a quick chat. Hope you are well.

cityangel · 25/09/2007 12:35

I would say every other day is meant to be enough however I don't have the proof yet that it works despite trying it! I also think you may want to open up the window in case you are getting the week of OV timing wrong.

Every other day is working in terms of pressure being off for dh and he prefers the approach so I am sticking with it.

Perhaps six times a day would increase our chances

3catstoo · 25/09/2007 14:01

I'm up for 6 times a day if it gets a bfp .

Dh would not be though.

He is so tired when he gets home from work.
He's more of a weekend man when it comes to bding, maybe once in the week if I'm lucky !

The past few cycles we've tried everyday around Ov day but I think it was too much too soon, so DH ran out of steam when it was the right time.
This is why this week I'm trying for everyother day in the hope that we can try for longer than the usual 4 days in a row.

Silly how I have to plan it this way.

Ov is around Fri according to the software. I have had EWCM since the weekend so it maybe earlier, who knows. I'm using opks everyday to check aswell.

Last month I ran out of opks and I think I misinterpretted the last test I did, so completely mis timed my efforts.

I'm on a mission as DH gave me the end of Oct as a deadline for ttc. That will have been 16 months.

Thanks for the advise City and sorry to rant on.

Are you enjoying your job?

3catstoo · 25/09/2007 14:44

City, I just read the other thread you atarted. Boy what a debate they are having !
And no help to your original question. And vets, what have they got to do with it?

Good question though. It happened to me more before childen came along.(mainly with me on top - which we do not do during fertile time - maybe we should!) sorry tmi there.

cityangel · 26/09/2007 13:10

Yes I do seem to have generated more debate than intended on MN this month

Ever other day has been working for us as dh says its less pressure and still feels spontaneous.

Work sucks to be honest I fancy 4 months off in 9 months time!

Its a real toughie you have a deadline I hope it works out big hug

3catstoo · 28/09/2007 17:14

Have a fab weekend ladies.

xxxxxxxx

Ready · 29/09/2007 23:22

Girls!!!! I am back online. All moved out, sold, and staying with family. A huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
CD3 here, and pretty disappointed, but to be honest probably for the best.
Went out for a meal tonight, absolutely stuffed, and a little tipsy

cityangel · 30/09/2007 01:34

Ready missed you Glad you feel more relaxed sorry its CD3 Glad your back as I haven't worked out how to Cat yet.

Went to Stamford Bridge today. Worst play ever, terrible atmosphere. Mohammed Al Fayed got there too late for his car to drive in and had to walk with us. Best chant ever.... you own a small shop in Fulham, small shop in Fulham! On the way out the Mourinho Superman T-shirt sellers were making a killing!

CD10 hoping this month works as if not have HSG on 22 Oct. You had it I think you said? (sorry if wrong) I am hoping it isn't going to keep me out of work as I am struggling to keep fertility appointments quiet.

I hope all your moving works out. Keep us posted and don't go too far

3catsoo how is your weekend?

Ready · 30/09/2007 10:57

I am not going anywhere city . We now have a laptop (swanky!) and I am sitting in my MILs breakfast room, DH is watching some football programme and I am getting my MN fix No worries about people looking at MN in the history.

Giggle. Very funny that al fayed had to walk in with the fans - I bet he loved that

My fingers are crossed for you City that you don't need the HSG, but if you do, don't worry about it keeping you out of work. I was tender afterwards, but internally , so as long as you can sit in a chair at work, then you will be fine. Just take it easy

3cats how are you doing?? How is the medication for the thyroid going? Have you had your levels checked lately??

cityangel · 01/10/2007 23:34

Thanks for your advice Ready I just hope your pain threshold isn't higher than mine like everyone else's seem to be!

Glad you're back online :0) Off to bed

3cats how goes it?

Ready · 02/10/2007 17:36

City - You may be pleased to know, I am a big wimp. My pain threshold is poor Goodness knows how I will cope with childbirth

cityangel · 03/10/2007 02:18

Oh good we can be wimps together when it finally happens for us!

Am off on holiday next week Looking forward to getting away from it all work is very stressful at the moment.

How are you? Where is 3cats? Any lurkers?

Ready · 03/10/2007 12:43

oooh. where are you going??

Ready · 03/10/2007 23:31

This thread really has slowly faded out hasn't it

I have insomnia this evening, DH away and I am staying at MILs on my own.

I am having a really low day with regards to ttc, I just can't seem to ever imagine getting a BFP and it's starting to get me down.

cityangel · 05/10/2007 21:38

Oh Ready really sorry, its not always easy to get on after work...

I'm going to Las Vegas. I must be the only person looking up pre-natal vitamin shows there!

Sorry you're feeling down. Really hope things work out.

I know what you mean about the imagination mine has gone too...

I hope you feel better now. I will try and get on when I am away next week to cheer you up. Where's 3catsoo?

Ready · 05/10/2007 22:04

Don't be so daft!! It wasn't a dig at you not posting. It was just in general, how it has dwindled.
You have a ruddy marvellous time in Vegas and don't even think about MN!! That's an order

3catstoo · 07/10/2007 16:38

Hi Ladies, sorry I wasn't on here much last week. I had a 3 day migraine again, but fine now.

Will catch up tomorrow.

Hugs to you both.

Ready · 07/10/2007 20:51

Sorry about the mammoth migraine Glad you are feeling better now though.

No news here really. Went shopping in Bluewater yesterday - some retail therapy for my breaking heart Chanel does wonders

3catstoo · 08/10/2007 20:00

Retail therapy sounds good . I've never been to Bluewater.
Lakeside was as far as I got before I left London.

I hit the shops too today, but not for me. Milton Keynes is my nearest big shopping centre.

I have my final fertility clinic appt tomorrow lunchtime. I'm hoping they will give me more details about DHs results.

AF also due tomorrow. I had slight spotting today, so with that and the migraines, I'm sure it's on its way .

I don't think DH will be up for trying anymore either. I'm not sure if I can put up with his mood swings on the subject anymore though.

This could be the end of the line for ttc. Fingers crossed that tomorrow brings good news.

I'm going to join a gym and get into shape to try to take my mind of things. Maybe I'll be luckier when we've stopped trying.

Have you had your HSG yet City? Forgive my forgetfulness, please.

Until tomorrow.........night night.....xxxx

Ready · 08/10/2007 22:41

3cats - I really hope tomorrow brings some good news. I am sorry that you have been battling with DH over ttc. It is hard enough each month without having to persuade DH it is a good idea And to repeat the old cliche, but it might happen when you stop trying. Do look in on us from time to time, won't you
When I lived in Northants, the MK Centre was our nearest big shopping centre. I did like it there. I guess I was just totally spoilt with Bluewater and Trafford Centre either side of the MK So long as there is a John Lewis or Selfridges I am happy

City - Hope you are ok flower Having a blast in Vegas? Are you/did you go to the Grand Canyon? A few people I know went on helicopter days out when they were in Vegas. Where are you in your cycle? Fingers crossed

cityangel · 08/10/2007 23:31

hey everyone missed you and I haven't even made it on hols yet! Spent the entire weekend with babies... literally... got used to it now. Annoying side effect right arm is sore as its not used to holding cute things!

Off to Vegas tomorrow must be the only visitor heading out to buy Pre-natal vits! Also planning on some naughty pre-baby cocktail time! That's if we ever get lucky!

Ready I can't believe you went to Bluewater without me! How's tricks will have a naughty cocktail for you this weekend! Are you south east longer term?

3catsoo hope things are getting better. It's hard to know what to say about things for your guys but you must let us know how you get on after your appointment tomorrow. I'll try and get on at the airport but if not I hope it works out. Dh had a migraine this weekend nooooo fun :0( What does your doc say about yours?

Hey Mrs MC if you're out there :0)

Right off to finish packing!
