BFP due: 2nd September

Woke up with a really bad headache in the middle of the night. Took some Paracetamol and thankfully it cleared. But I seemed to have pinched a nerve so my arm and baby finger has gone numb (all normal for me when I get a migraine or a bad headache) But I've read that Anti-inflammatory'a or anything with Ibruproohen in can cause early miscarriage. Is this correct? Would a small amount really have that effect or is this only when taken in large quantities. Really battling here. But don't want to mess with my chances of a BFP? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Decided to ttc#2 dtd Friday, 2 days before when I think period was due. I know this isn't the optimum time but it was a practice run

My period has not arrived yet. It's impossible isn't it?? When would I test? Af is technically late but surely it's too soon!?

Period just finished on the weekend so my app says sometime between 22nd-24th is our time. But I feel like it'll be later. I'm not to good at this yet!

pixie where abouts are you in your cycle? I have tried to avoid ibuprofen but caved in first day of my period for a headache.

After ovulation I definitely avoid ibuprofen X

@juneybean I'm on CD12. Ovulation any day now....

I am due AF next week (finish taking the pill on Sunday and then that's me done!) I have worked out roughly that I shall be fertile around 4th, 5th, 6th of September. (I intend to DTD every other day between 30th and 9th) I then hope for the best!

TTC #2 but may be on the bus for a while as I'm still breastfeeding and haven't yet had a period (#1 is now 10 months old).. however I have cut down feeds and finally got a positive OPK this morning so you never know, but think it's likely I'm joining this thread to cheer you all on 😀

I felt your struggle @Beckypea, it was a hard sell for my other half too! Eventually got him going with 'its going to happen sometime anyway so we may as well just get on with it!'

Is your period easing off @LovePinaColada?

I hope so @InRainbows! Think I may go to the docs this week as I have also been feeling beyond knackered this week!

Hello fertile week!

So what's the view on the unsexy sexy-time? Every day? Every other day? Makes bugger all difference?

More than once a day (i.e. should I buy snacks?)

@nimbleknitter, we're going for the every day approach this month. Tried every alternative day last month with no joy. So thought we' try a different approach.

Finally god a solid smiley, after six days of flashing smileys, only for DS to make an appearance mid baby-dance. Thankfully too young to know what he almost walked in on. Joy! Hoping tonight may be a little less eventful!?!

We're also using pre-seed this month, altho' naive me thought you just us it like normal lube. Hmmm... Has anyone else used this?

@InRainbows I came off my pill last June (2016) hoping to start as we had bought our house together, been together for 6 years and are both in our 30's, but he had a massive freak out over it! Gave him a year to think about it and still 'i'm not sure blah blah blah!' so I told him time is ticking on and I needed to know what he wanted... He finally said yes... My mum and sister can't believe it. Wasn't going to tell anyone that we have decided to TTC for less pressure... But I was quite excited.. I have told a little white lie though and said that it won't be until next year.

Do your family's/friends know that you guys are TTC? Or you keeping it on the DL?

Hope you don't mind me putting a foot on this bus? BFP due the 31st August/1st September and currently in fertile window.
We've tried to dtd every other day this month then every day (at least ) since Saturday and will keep at it until next weekend, and possibly beyond that. Due to ovulate on Thursday, then go on holiday from next Tuesday for a week. Thankfully fertile week is this week rather than next as we're staying with family for the most part so it would be harder to get some quality time in.

Cycle 2 for baby #1, so thankfully we're still finding fun and novelty in all the sexytimes!

Unfortunately I can't keep any of my own secrets so I've told a friend and my sister. My friend is in the same boat, but they're more relaxed about it. Another sister just basically asked me if I was pregnant so I'm not sure if sister no.1 has told her too!

@BeckyPea That one year must have been so hard for you with a new house and everything all set! We have also been together for 7 and married for three, I really wanted to give my OH all the time he needed but it becomes so hard when it's all you can think about day in day out! I think I'm doing a good job of not talking about TTC too much at home, trying to avoid freaking him out! I too want to just run around telling everyone!! My best buddy knows and I'm seeing my other close friends tonight so I doubt I will be able to resist telling them! My Mother however would just be a nightmare to tell - she's desperate for a Grandchild and would go in to overdrive so I'm finding it quite easy to keep it from her!

Going to the docs sounds like a good idea @LovePinaColada I'm sure it's nothing but they might even give you a blood test then you will get to have a cheeky bonus look at your vitimin levels! 😏

Only my OH and my best friend know that we are TTC. I think there'd be too much pressure from others if we told them.

Now officially away on our honeymoon for some serious romance. Yippee! AF still here at the mo but on CD5 today and should be hitting fertile week soon. Here's to a honeymoon baby! Wish us luck xx

@pixielove123 visit went well thank you lovely! he didn't stay too long which was good as it was late and I was tired!! But fingers crossed I got some of the swimmers up there!

A lot of watery ick flew out of my foof today though....urgh

Well I got my smiley face this morning but a bit frustrated that I didn't think to see if I had one last night as well as that could make a difference between dtd tomorrow morning or evening...

Mission accomplished today so fingers crossed and I guess I'm now once again into the dreaded 2ww.

@InRainbows yes it was really hard. He always knew I wanted to have children, long before we moved in and then when he turned around and said that back last year my heart sank! My mum also really wants a grandchild... My sister is my step sister... I am really an only child, but we have been together since little kids so we are like real sisters and she had a baby last year... My mam loves her so much but always says she would like a 'real one' lol. Good luck.. hope it happens for you soon. I'm not good at keeping quite. If I tell my mum everyone would know haha.
