Anyone know anything about using hot water bottle on tummy during tww? Ive got cramps and just feel like I want to cuddle up. I would normally use a hot water bottle during AF when I feel like this but don't want to harm my chances. Does anyone know if you shouldn't during tww?

I don't think you should use a hot water bottle, as although keeping warm is good, we shouldn't be "hot"!

@roseandtime don't worry too much. Chances are all will be well. You take more folic acid than most anyway and because you have taken it for so long your stocks will be high even if you miss the odd dose. Definitely take it now because why not?! But I doubt there is any reason to worry if you get preggers this month! X

My cycle is short these days, so only a few days now till my fertile window. Still have AF right now though, so DTD isn't exactly the first thing on my mind! Agh.

Am just about to enter the period where I am most fertile and my husband is having a bad few days. I am not sure I am going to be able to encourage him to go for it :(

AF has decided to put in an early appearance at least it will be out of the way in time for our holiday

Temp is still up but not as high as the other day. But 7dpo today!

How's everyone doing?

Half way there @juneybean. When do you plan to test? My temp went up yesterday. Back down again this morning. Roller coaster.
Bought a pack of 10 test 'early detector' they only serve on the 30th. So will wait till then .... one moment I'm convince I'm preggie. The next I'm convinced I'm not. Just feel blah about the situation today.

I (think) I'm on 1dpo today, on CD14. Based on the traditional boob ache I would have said I ovulated on CD12 but my darkest opk was yesterday morning on CD13. Gah. Who knows? So basically the tww starts here for me so fingers crossed!

When is everyone planning to test?

@loobylou124 I am now of my fertile window (which I have always counted as the few days leading up to ovulation). Don't anticipate ovulating until tuesday (not knowing is driving me a bit mad so I am definitely going to temp next month if nothing happens this month). So I won't be due until 13th of September probably won't test before that. I am on holiday that week abroad though. Currently trying to decide if I should bring a test with me...

pixie maybe Friday I will test? I feel nothing at the minute... So dunno whether to take that as a positive as usually I have all sorts of "symptoms".

juney no symptoms can totally be a symptom! Loads of people don't get any symptoms at all . As long as you're still above overline, you're good!

pixie temping can be stressful eh? I get nervous every morning in 2ww (7 day wait for me!!! ) that my temp will plummet. But it has helped me to understand my cycle.

CD7 here, we are off to a wedding so great I can drink! Quite nice to be in a part of the cycle where I don't have to think about it. I think I'll start testing for O after the bank holiday, looking to bring it forward from day 21 this month!

DH did a home sperm count test yesterday which came back normal so that's something!

CD3 here. I hate peeing on sticks (somehow I always manage to get it everywhere) so I will be testing 5 September at the earliest (and not at all unless temp stays high)

I'm going to test on Monday even though I know I'm not pregnant cos I had my migraine. I know that sounds nuts but I feel like it's getting depressing that I never get to do a test (because I get my headache 11dpo and know I'm out). So I've decided that I will test anyway!!!

@juneybean - crazy as ever! Last night we discussed names for our possibly yet to he conceived child. That's probably not normal

@AlexsMum89 it's totally normal. I think it's really nice to be able to enjoy the idea of being a parent!!! Hope you picked a good un!

@juneybean totally normal to have no "symptoms". I'm totally convinced now that my symptoms are in my head anyway. I usually test myself - if I feel something on the left, I force myself to imagine I feel it on the right - low and behold my right side starts to tingle! I've been amazed at the power of my own mind to invent physical feelings!

Mid AF for me, DH is away this weekend so plan on an evening of wine and chocolate! What do you guys all use to temp? Do you need a special thermometer?

meggiemoo yes you need a digital bbt that has 2 decimal points. I have BabyMad from ebay, it was around £6!
