Hi everyone, pretty certain I am out so thought I'd start the next bus for any of us who have had af arrive or like me got a bfn using a frer at 13dpo and certain af is imminenant.

So I haven't had a positive OPK yet... I tested with FMU this morning and it was getting there but obviously since then it's been pretty pale as I've drank water or whatever. So bloody annoying. I've got another insemination tomorrow so I'm hoping it'll surge tonight with ovulation tomorrow night otherwise I feel a bit fucked.

I have had one of my worst migraines ever today so no DTD tonight (day 2 of my FW) but 🤞 I feel totally better tomorrow! To be honest I am not sure I am fertile yet as according to Ovia my CM is wrong for this stage of my cycle - joy! Will have to keep DTD & keep my fingers crossed.

I've been on the implant for six years and it's been out since Monday so I have no idea when AF will arrive or when I'm ovulating.

I've been doing OPK for this cycle, and have had what look like positives for 3 days, CD21, 22 and 23.. I guess one of these is my peak? I started using clear blue, but ran out before I got a smiley so got cheapies from Amazon. I always assumed you could only get 2 'positive' OPK results.

I also never thought ttc would be this crazy! 😊 dtd last night anyway, we should be good!

I had what we think must have been a chemical pregnancy last month - BFP at 13 and 14 DPO but then AF came in force. DH and I have sort of agreed we won't test early as it was too upsetting, and we will wait to see if it 'sticks' first, but I'm not sure how I'll we'll keep to that promise.

Hi Newbies!

OK, so on Monday I had a line on OPK but not as dark as control.
On Tuesday I did a clearblue (as they'd just arrived) and I got a static smiley so did another OPK and a line, dark but not as dark as control.
On Wednesday morning I got another static smiley on the clearblue and the same darkness of line on the OPK. Wednesday afternoon I did another OPK and only a very faint line.
This morning nothing on either clearblue or OPK.
My temp went up this morning but not above cover line yet.

This is at least 5 days early for me, I normally ovulate at day 16-18 and I'm only day 12 today.

We dtd on Tues and weds. Wondering whether to do it again tonight as well?

So I guess, tww starts here! Ovuviw says AF due 31st July. I will probably test on the 28th because I have a festival that weekend and might want to drink :) In reality, even with my chemical pregnancies I've known I was pregnant from about 7dpo so I should get an inkling earlier than that.

Doctors appointment tomorrow though to discuss fertility as dh and I have been trying for 6 months now and we're no spring chickens!

Hello ladies. Finally hopping aboard from the July bus...
I've just had the weirdest AF I've ever had. Usually I have a medium day with heavy cramping, followed by two heavy days, one light day and spotting for two days. This was the same before I got pregnant last time too. This time round it came five days early (which has never happened before) I had one heavy day, followed by one medium then about 5 days of spotting and not a single cramp
I'm feeling a bit low about it all to be honest. I even suggested to DH that we take a break, but know I'd still be thinking about it anyway.

Girls I highly recommend using OPKs to work out what's going on. Like @melody I just got a flashing smiley face this morning, so I've finally reached high fertility (will have to keep tracking to see when peak fertility arrives.. Hopefully tomorrow or Saturday) but just FYI all my apps say I'm past my FW now, so if I wasn't tracking via OPKs I would have given up dtd!

Also, my high/peak was on cd12 last month and even though my cycle is a reliable 28days (for the majority of months) this month it's taken until cd17! Not sure why, but will keep you all posted anyhow.

@ladydolly I would dtd again tonight, can't hurt! Do you have the tests which have both the flashing smiley and static smiley?

@sophia the clear blue leaflet mentions if you get 9 days of positive results to stop testing so I think you can get lots, but it's trying to work out when was the peak that is probs difficult. I imagine that's where tracking cm and temp would help?

If I were to order the cheap OPKs from Amazon, what kind of line am I looking for at peak fertility? Is it dark like the control line or any kind of coloured line? I've seen photos of them with lines from faint to coloured but never super dark and I'm quite confused about what they mean.

@MonaTheMoaner from what I have read online your positive line needs to be as dark or darker to be a positive ovulation test. I'm new to the ovulation testing but that's what I'm going to be looking out for.

My temp didn't do what I was expecting today...

chart any ideas? do you think ovulation is today instead? Which is fine as I did insemination last night.

juney it could still have been yesterday, I did some reading recently that basically said your temp goes up after ov, not necessarily the day after but after. Sounds like you have both bases covered!

Fwiw my temp only went up today, pretty sure I ov'd on Weds since I had a + opk in the morning and a - that evening.

Btw I agree that OPKs are important - I couldn't afford the dual hormone ones except when they on offer but I buy the regular Clearblue ones which are also good.

Love the support on here! Last cycle was a bit of a mess for me. Im regular like clockwork and was 8 days late! Got my hopes up and then AF hit. Felt so down on confused! Hoping this will keep me sane!! Tracking on OVIA too ☺

Around 9dpo and I'm just ready for AF now. I have no symptoms and I'm sure it hasn't been successful. But the tiny seed of hope is just making me more frustrated.

@holyshmoly no reason why should have symptoms. Loads of people don't. Fingers crossed - that last few days before AF is the worst isn't it?!

Really worried we missed out opportunity last night. Did the OPK last night and the line was just as dark as the other line which is a positive OPK right? We went to my Dads 70th and got home so late we both just fell fast asleep without DTD. Now I've just done another OPK and the line was faint. Does that mean we missed our opportunity or if we DTD tonight will there still be a chance?

Thanks ally. I'm ordering some next week. I'm light and intermittent bleeding right now as it's 5 days since the implant has been out. Unsure if this is AF or just my body adjusting so I won't start OPK's until that's settled.
