Hi everyone, pretty certain I am out so thought I'd start the next bus for any of us who have had af arrive or like me got a bfn using a frer at 13dpo and certain af is imminenant.

Solid smiley yesterday so just about to enter the 2WW.

So I've been looking at my past moths info and I think I'm missing ovulation when dtd. I think I need to take ovulation testing a little more seriously. Any thoughts on the best type of ovulation test to use lovely people?

I have just brought some of ebay that comes with preg test too.They are only cheap but have good reviews.I have never tracked my ovulation before so new to me too x

Vicsteur I definitely recommend the onestep ones you can get off amazon/ebay and are like £5 for 50 or whatever.

I tend to do it twice a day from day 9 and then when the colour starts getting darker I start doing it at most toilet trips until I catch the surge.

It can happen quickly and you can miss it.

@Sugar82 I'm in the same boat. Still not 100% about this whole ovulation testing but I'm going to start testing on day 10 of my cycle.

The closer to ovulation I get the darker the line will get am I right ladies? I track my CM aswell. Last cycle it was EW when my app was saying it was my fertile period so I think my app perhaps has the right window. I just need to pinpoint the day.

Thanks @juneybean I'll pick some up. I used them one month but don't think I ovulated at all. Last month I did, but I think I missed my peak, fingers crossed this month we get our timing right.

I'm feeling rubbish tonight I think I'm gunna go walk in centre tomorrow because I feel like I'm getting a water infection. I feel feverish (but no thermometer to check my temp) and I'm peeing loads and have lower back pain. No burning or stinging, but have a thumping headache that I used to get when I was prone to water infections years ago. I'll do a frer before I go in the morning, but if it's still bfn I reckon I can rule myself out for this month can't I at 10dpo with no bfp on a frer, surely I'd be getting even a faint bfp by now if I was? Reckon I'm most likely just ill, I feel wiped out

@MeadowDream sending lots of hugs your way. Sorry you feeling so rubbish. How you feeling this morning?

Sorry been quiet back to work now. Fertile week starts next week so will start OPKs end of this week I reckon. I have unreliable shift patterns so not sure how accurate they will be but lets see.

Due to ovulate in a couple of days but DH is away for work, so fingers crossed his swimmers have anchored down are staying alive in there.

I have been tracking my temp with ovusense and will be keeping an eye on the pee sticks to pinpoint ovulation. Still new to this!

Hello all, haven't posted in ages so just saying hi. A very boring CD8 over here. Feeling emotional a lot of the time that I am not pregnant yet. My boy's second birthday this week and looking back at photos is just making me so tearful. Wish I had another little one growing inside me.

I'm also on CD8 today @MotherofBoy. When is your AF/BFP due? Mine will be the 10th of August. Keep you chin up. I no it's hard when you want something so bad! FX we both get BFPs.

got a positive OPK last night and this morning, on CD22 now.
I've never tracked my cycle before - I had started to convince myself I wasn't going to ovulate.
DTD Sunday night, but haven't had a chance since as DP works nights! May try to wake up when he gets in tonight.
I'm all fingers and toes crossed for this month! Good luck to all you ladies.
Will leave it to test until early August.

I feel like I'm willing my body to make this happen!

Sorry to sound doff. But what does OPK stand for? Had a look on the MN acronyms list and can't find it.

I did my first ever ovulation test as so confused as to when I'm ovulating. 1 app said it was 17th and then the other three all have different days. One 21st Fri one 22nd Sat and one 23rd Sun.
The test said a faint line is a negative. Is this really true? I only have three tests left. Do I check again for the next three days or do you think I should wait till Friday to check again?

What do you ladies think of the results?

@sophia that's good to know. Are you using any apps to track your cycle? I'm currently cd16 and still no sign of ovulation so am partly wondering have I missed it. Had positive opk (ovulation prediction kit @pixie) on cd12 in June but because I haven't tracked it before Im not sure how long into a cycle you can ovulate. Cm is making me think it's on the way though so fx.

@meadow how are you feeling now? Hope you are okay! Tbh those sound like promising symptoms to what I've read on other threads. Fx you're feeling better and it's good news!

@motherofboy try and stay positive! You've one gorgeous baby so it can definitely happen, at least you have that reassurance. May just take time, but you can do it ☺️

@pixie I can't comment on that particular test as it's a different model than I use, but I think you'll need to stock up! Go for the cheapies on amazon like @juneybean recommended above. I start testing everyday from the beginning of my FW according to the apps I'm using to track, until I get a positive ovulation result. Then have sex that day and the following two if you can.

@shanners123 I'm using Ovia, it seems good I can track every little thing. Itll be valuable if we don't conceive this month as I'll be able to look back at my cycle. I was exactly the same as you, I thought I'd missed it and almost gave up testing.. I'm sure based on what you've said that your ovulation can't be far off

@Shanners123 thanks so much for the advice. Will buy another box which comes with 4 test. And just try daily for next 7 days. I live in South Africa so Amazon isn't an option unfortunately. But it is the cheapies from our chemist here. They do sell the Clear Blue Ovulations kids but they 3 times the price. Are you testing everyday at them moment too?
