Hi everyone, pretty certain I am out so thought I'd start the next bus for any of us who have had af arrive or like me got a bfn using a frer at 13dpo and certain af is imminenant.

@IntelligentPutty I've been using clue for about 2 years and it's been okay - it's pretty basic, but I don't have any experience with any other apps so I'd say it does the job

Just received my order of Conceive Plus - does anyone have any experience with this? Is it worth it, or just an expensive waste of money?

I started measuring BBT last month, so I'm hoping that will help me figure out my cycle. I'm using a few different apps, trying to narrow down to one that can figure out my cycle.

The guidelines are different depending on what NHS trust you are in for physical health. The trust I lived in was undergoing a major restructure when I was on the waiting list to see the gynae department and it was taking sooooo long. I ended up taking all the test results I had from when I was diagnosed with PCOS at 21 and tons of cycle data on FF to a private gynaecologist and after a really informative chat was prescribed Clomid straight away. Best money I've ever spent IMHO....

Shanners I would use all your sticks and cross your fingers.

mini I use Concieve plus. Have no idea if it's helping but I did Concieve DD using it. Might have had nothing to do with it but who knows.

I'm itching to POAS.

Thanks for all the app tips and advise re when to dtd. Will be downloading a few more and see what the are like.

Opk strips arrived at home today so will be reading all the instructions and following all your advise.
I always thought it'd just happen but think maybe need to be a bit more targetted!

Sure ov last month was on lost tube (due to ov pain). so hopefully it'll be otherwise this month.
Totally understand trying to forget about it during tww.

I've still not had a positive OPK yet but they are gradually getting darker. I normally think I ovulate CD 16 which is tomorrow so hopefully it shows. If I never get a strong positive does it mean I haven't ovulated?

Could one still get a positive OPK and then not ovulate?

@pixieinlove I shouldn't have said positive. It's negative I mean cause the line is there just not as dark/darker as the test line.

pixie it is possible to get a positive opk and not ovulate

ally I have truly been struggling to get a strong positive over the past few months but I definitely ovulated last month and this month as my temperature has shot up ,(and I had a blood test last month)

@pixieinlove just realised your question might not have been in relation to mine. I'm sure the LH hormone is present all the time it just surges when ovulating meaning you get the positive test. So I don't think there's a chance of getting a positive and not ovulating. But I don't know 100%, I'm just guessing.

I have read though that you can get negative tests and still ovulate and that you just don't catch your surge when testing.

@juneybean that's good to know. It's my first cycle using OPKs. I started testing on CD8 so I pretty much have seen nothing but squinty lines until the last couple of days. My CM is showing signs of ovulation.just waiting for the surge.

Thanks everyone ... I still find this confusing. So how does one know for sure if you have or haven't ovulated. I read somewhere that you can still get an AF even if you haven't ovulated. Just find that strange?!?!

@ally62442 haha re putting your back and pretending you were ok to DTD funny what we do to get a BFP!

Had a very stressful day yesterday so didn't DTD as planned. But I'm CD 23 so hoping that it won't matter. Can someone ovulate as late as CD22/CD23?

@juneybean ah just re-read your post. You said your temp shot up and you had a blood test that is how you knew you ovulated. Is there any other way?

I guess CM dries up and my boobs start hurting from 2/3dpo due to the progesterone. But not sure if progesterone rises even if you haven't ovulated. I'm guessing not as it's progesterone that makes ones temperature go up haha.

With regard to ovulating as late as cd 24... Yes but it's usually people with long periods so 38 days long etc.

So I'm currently cd23 and have been tracking temp and OPKs for this entire cycle. OPKs are still giving a high result but no peak after 7 days, but according to fertility friend app my temp has risen so it's saying I actually ovulated on cd20. I started recording tender breasts from Sunday so it could have been then or maybe even a few days earlier as I haven't always been able to record my temp at the exact same time everyday (life gets in the way).

Who knew it was this complicated!

Anyhow.. I'm sticking with fertility friend and that makes me currently 3dpo ☺️

Acording to Ovia I have 9 days until I can do a pregnancy test - how will I wait this long?!

Are you well-behaved when it comes to POAS or do you got a little crazy? I am definitely the last! 🙈

@love Ovia is telling me 9 days also. Tbh because I've been all over the place this cycle I might wait longer to see if AF shows. Deffs feel like she is on her way as normal.

@LovePinaColada I definitely fall in the crazy category!! I hate the wait. I have 5 days to wait (however might try an early response on Friday?!)
