Thought I'd start a July bus, I'll be due to test around the 3/4th (because I'm impatient mostly). Fingers crossed for us all!

missyem I think once you see the smiley face, get going today, tomorrow, and I think it can still work the next day too

Mrsjones17 · 24/06/2017 10:13

We've not told people we are trying been married two years and think people are starting to wonder. Especially my grandparents (I know I'm really lucky to have then when I'm newly 30!) I think my grandad has very much been holding out hope....fast forward to 4 months ago to when my cousin announced he has got his girlfriend of Only 6 months pregnant! Baby due in august...been to see my grandad yesterday quote from him 'it should have been you telling me happy news not that it was a mistake. I always thought you would be the first one to put a little baby in my arms' 😟😟😟😟😟 I felt like saying to him you have no idea how much 1) I wish it was me and 2) how hard I have been trying to do that!!! 😢

WithCheesePlease · 24/06/2017 10:45

Oh MrsJones, I'm so sorry- that's heartbreaking that he feels like that, and that he actually said it to you. That must feel like an awful lot of pressure. I think I probably would've cracked and just told him, but I understand your reason for not wanting to.

Mrsjones17 · 24/06/2017 10:55

Yep it's was a pretty grim moment! I can't be cross with him for saying it he's old and they don't think before they say things bless him but still! Told my DH...had a little weep and then because I'm trying not to drink jumped back into DTD with a vengeance haha! I don't want to tell them that we are trying cos I don't want them worrying that is hasn't happened yet. They sometimes are also full of bit very helpful advice....'you work too hard' 'you shouldn't be going on so many holidays (2!)' 'you shouldn't be at home cooking DH tea' 🙄 so on and so forth! Different generations eh?!

WithCheesePlease · 24/06/2017 11:20

Ah bless, gotta love them! My parents are a bit like that.

Are you trying not to drink at all while ttc? Is anyone else? I did that initially for the first few months, then got fed up and starting having a few glasses now and then.

Mrsjones17 · 24/06/2017 11:32

Erm no not consciously I guess it's a combo of things. Were trying to give it everything we've got this month so both not drinking if we can and then we are both training for a triathlon so trying to just generally be a bit more healthy. I've found it ok really as don't drink that much normally unless it's an event as such

WithCheesePlease · 24/06/2017 11:56

Ah that's great, and nice you're doing that together and training together too.

BlueeSpottyTiger · 24/06/2017 12:12

Aww Mrsjones that's a hard thing to hear Sad xx
juney aslong as its dipping im sure its just as good hehe.
impatient I'm using conceive plus and i did 2 cycles ago when i git a bfp. Ran out last cycle but i really feel thats what helped me concieve.. they are all pretty similar.

Nice little temp rise today..hope it stays up! 1dpo 🤗

July bus - jump aboard!
MissyEm · 24/06/2017 13:32

Thanks @witbcheeseplease. Everything is crossed! Going to take it easy with this tww now.

WithCheesePlease · 24/06/2017 14:33

I just did a due date calculator which gave me a date of mid March- probably getting a bit ahead of myself Blush

Mrsjones17 · 24/06/2017 18:34

@withcheeseplease haha! Optimistic! I like it!

3dpo and it's dragging!

juneybean · 24/06/2017 22:31

withcheese haha I do that every cycle! 1-2dpo here not really sure...

MotherofBoy · 24/06/2017 22:59

Haha juney and withcheese I do that every cycle too... Blush

Cd10 over here. Dh and I both decided today to give up alcohol completely and reduce caffeine to 1-2 cups a day. No idea if it will help but did some reading and thought it worth a shot (plus I've put on weight recently so no alocohol will help!)

Mrsjones17 · 24/06/2017 23:06

@juney I think we need to come up with something to help the time pass!! I hate the tww the most. I wish it was DTD then 24 hours later yay or nay 😂

juneybean · 25/06/2017 08:38

That would be glorious.

I say every month I'm going to relax and not think about it but then by 6dpo I'm googling symptoms. Ahh!!!

Maybe we should just DTD all month and pretend we don't know when ovulation in and then when our period doesn't show up we will get a happy surprise!

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 25/06/2017 09:03

juney, mother withcheese I do that too and this cycle it says 18th march. I think ovulate yesterday (cd18) as I had cramps and sore boobs but then I have the same today so who knows. But for the sake of tracking I'm going to say today I am 1dpo. Let the symptom spotting and obsessing continue commence!

katelouise1 · 25/06/2017 09:37

Hello :) thought I'd jump on this bus as I'm doing my tww now. I'm 27 and trying for number two I already have a 2 and a half year old. I'm 2 days dpo so fingers crossed.

Melodypond17 · 25/06/2017 09:37

Smiley ovulation face this morning, been at it like rabbits the last couple of days and plan to carry on as such for the next few!

Let the tww commence!

Here's hoping we all get our bfp's :)

Mrsjones17 · 25/06/2017 10:32

Ok already googling symptoms and I. Only 4dpo. It's ridiculous, I know it's ridiculous and yet I can't stop doing it. I feel like I'm setting myself up for a fall convincing myself that every little thing is a sign it's so stupid. We dtd as much as humanly possible this month so really can't have done anymore and just need to let it go and move on to see what happens. I am so impatient in everything I do. I can't help but think is me worrying in the tww affecting things but not I'm worrying about worrying!! I really am a total fruit loop!😕

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 25/06/2017 10:57

mrsjones I feel your pain. This is cycle 5 and I am having a worry that as we didn't dtd on cd 15 and 16 and ov of 17 or 18 we missed our chance Sad

Maybe we should all have a 2ww book group on here to take our mind off things?

Mrsjones17 · 25/06/2017 11:00

Mamabooksbabynumber2 I like that idea!!!

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 25/06/2017 11:06

Anything you want to read particularly? Can be light hearted? We could probably squeeze in 2 books - 1 a week - and post about them on the Sunday evening to give us something else to think about/focus on.

What about a "chick-lit" book?

Mrsjones17 · 25/06/2017 11:08

@mamasbooksbabynumber2 I'm happy to go with anything really. I read a fair amount but lots of different stuff. Chick lit would be good. Have you got any suggestions? I could have a look online for any recommendations x

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 25/06/2017 11:11

Do you like Paige Toons books? I've read quite a few and they are easy to read. Haven't read The One We fell in love with. I think it's called. Could always create a separate thread and call it Tww July bus book distraction thread ?

Mrsjones17 · 25/06/2017 11:12

@mamasbooksbabynumber2 just text a friend who's into similar sort of things and she suggested eat pray love or chasing harry Winston.
