July bus - jump aboard!

Thought I'd start a July bus, I'll be due to test around the 3/4th (because I'm impatient mostly). Fingers crossed for us all!

@ScienceGeekGirl @WithCheesePlease this was the first I've done this month. Only day 9 of my cycle. I had a 4 day moderate flow period too so surely can't be pregnant? I went on a wine tasting Tuesday! 🙈 I'll take a test when home to be sure. This whole conception thing is so daunting! 🙄

Oh my cycles are usually 28, 29 or 30 days so far too early to be ovulating?

A real pregnancy test will show positive before a Opk would produce a strong line as a result of pregnancy. Def worth checking though...

Oh wait hang on RosieRo when I look at my instructions, it says if the line is the same colour or darker it's positive, but if it's lighter or not present then it's negative. To me yours looks a bit lighter, so does that not mean it's negative? 😂 Oh god why do they have to make it so hard, this is why I stopped using them. Wouldn't it be much simpler if it just stayed completely blank for a negative? 😒

Literally about to cry SIL just announced her pregnancy with number one, due at new year. Firstly I was so excited and thrilled for her but now I just feel overwhelmingly sad that it isn't me. I know we already have DS, but I so desperately want another and five months down the line I am feeling a bit despondent again. I know SIL will want to borrow baby things and a bit awkward to say no if we don't have a reason why. Don't really feel like saying that we are trying. True too that I don't know how long it took her to get here, she could have been trying a year or more for all I know. Though I doubt it from the way she announced it (a p.s at the end of an email). Just feeling sorry for myself basically! Someone give me a kick

CD9 and this month is dragging. Felt quite optimistic a few days ago back now back from hols and in the glooms.

@WithCheesePlease @ScienceGeekGirl a negative pregnancy test! How odd. I might just have to treat myself to a clearblue ovulation kit

Not really @rosiero123 as we aren't close. Dh family are weird as they never talk about serious stuff! I had a colleague announce last week too... plus two NCT friends due in sep/oct. I know that it's only cos I'm trying that I notice but seems like everyone is pregnant! Currently downing a beer hey ho

motherofboy so sorry to hear that. It's like a kick in the face isn't it. I know you're feeling crap now, but you still have your fw ahead of you in a few days. Chin up, take a breath, and then give it everything you've got, and hopefully you'll be announcing your news to her soon too

I did actually get a near positive opk the day before tested pregnant.

lady My opks always stay pretty dark for a few days around ovulation. I only know i have ovulated because of bbt really 🤔

Pretty sure ovulation has occured today 🖒Postive opk yesterday dinnertime.. dip in temp today.. hopefuly bbt will be on the up tomorrow and I'll be in the tww again. Oh how ttc drags!

@MotherofBoy I feel your pain too, I'm in the exact same situation. I was happy for them but so sad at the same time. Especially as I had a mc earlier in the year. Fx that it will be us soon.

I suspect I'm 1dpo today although I inseminated last night so worried that might have been late. Opk were non conclusive again gah.

Thats an amazing ovulation dip bluee mine was a gradual decline this month haha.

I can't remember if I said on this thread but I've asked for a day 21 progesterone test so got that on Wednesday...see what's going on.

Faint positive OPK today, hope to OV 25th and a BFP 10th July.

@motherofboy sorry to hear that. It's so hard. My friend at work who I'm quite close with is 22 weeks and sometimesit's hard to see her slowly growing her little baby. But then when we got chatting it turned out she has been trying longer than me! Was quite nice to share little things then.

I'm being a total crazy woman today and symptom spotting already. I'm 2dpo and know it's way to early! I've got a pain in a right side a bit like stitch and cramping feeling too. Also needing the loo a bit more! Someone please tell me it's nothing more than my over reactive imagination 😂

Other than ov sticks, mucus and telling.. what are your symptoms around the time of ovulation?

@Mamabooksbabynumber2 I'm fairly sure I'm due to ovulate in a couple of days according to my previous dates

I'm feeling really weepy (like pmt) and my face has broken out in spots which is what has happened the last couple of months pre ovulation...

I've never experienced the eggwhite cm but do use the cb ovulation smiley tests

@Mother I'm in a similar situation, both me and SIL are trying. They haven't said as much but aren't being subtle about it like us. I will be devastated if she gets pregnant before me (I'm two years older, both ttc#1), but equally I'm worried about getting pg before her as I know how it'll feel to be second!

Ovulation pains?!

Does everyone get ovulation pains?! I seem to be getting cramps, like pre menstrual cramps, very low down and also around where ovaries would be. I got them last month on day 15 which I think was OV day.

Today I would have said I was 2dpo (day 17) but woke in the night and this morn with them quite bad?!

This is first month I didn't use cbOV sticks and regretting it now as I could've OVd anytime between days 13 and today really!

Yes that's really good point re lots of water. I tried to do that this month to help with ewcm! Also using pre seed... fx it all helps us!

Think I'm done now for this month and into the tww... couldn't have dtd more but still thinking its not enough!

I may have to get thus preseed next month if I don't get a bfp. I believe I ov today as I woke up with sore boobs and went to bed with cramps.

Today is cd18. We dtd cd11,12,13,14,17 And 18. Bummed we didn't dtd cd15 and 16.

@impatientmummy36 I'm with you, we couldn't have done anymore! I ovulated cd19 and we dtd cd15, 16, 18, 19 and 20. Really hoping we have done enough! Couldn't manage cd17 cos of work! 😏FX for all of us

Same here girls, we tried and tried this month, day 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 18 (twice, to make up for missing 16 & 17😁).
Officially in 2ww now. Boobs are feeling a bit sore, but then they always do during full 2 weeks of PMS before AF.

Bluebell I know how you feel re SIL.. I'm 5 years older than my SIL, and we got married first, and started trying first. She announced she was pregnant recently, which was a bit of a surprise- I think it was a honeymoon pg. Doesn't help that my best friend and another close friend were already pg, and now a close work colleague is too.
