Hi thats it really. If there is anyone who is about to start a new cycle with clomid, can you please be my friend?
This will be my first try on clomid, I have pcos, and started af today after a horrible 48 day cycle.
But af is here, hurray! which means i can start on the magic beans tomorrow.
So if you would like chat and hand holding too, please sign in here.
Im thinking good sense of humour, sympathy, and patience will be a must

Please do get all Monica on me! That made me laugh as DH often says I am v. Monica. Yes, it is an old house and they did have a pet, but it died a year ago. We have ripped up almost all the carpet, but I wonder if the critters jumped on the bed as we were moving. (The bed was on the floor the first night). Supposedly they are pretty easy to catch and now I wonder if DH who travels alot for work may have brought them in as I have since found hotels are a real culprit and the critters can get into suitcases and travel. It is soooo icky. I am definitely trying to sort it out. Matress is outside in the sun as this is supposed to rid it of creepy crawlies to some extent. I am also dealing with ALL bedding!

Not BDing at the mo as DH is away, but returns tonight (YAY!). Always a little difficult with guests, but we shall overcome.

As for your maybe, maybe not symptoms... it is so tough as symptoms can point to pg or be completely innocent. My first symptom was full and sore boobs... but no jinxing from me.

pussycatmomma · 17/04/2007 15:14

goodness it sounds worse and worse. Can you actually see the things????? how big are they? eugggggghhh at climbing into your poor dh's suitcase!!! I know you can see a flea, are they a similar size? ooohhhh poor pooor you, but i am also to myself too, sorry!!!! its just the indignity of it, and trying to combine it with "impromptu" bd as well, plus guests, you must have been having a bloody nightmare!!!! Will you have to be fumigated do you think? Am very lucky i have had no experience of these creatures and i almost want to come down their myself and help you clean them away!!!!
changing subject slightly, are you having any monitoring this cycle? or was everything deemed to be ok last time and this time they are leaving you to it?

I heard a horrible article on the radio about bedbugs recently.....and they are surprizingly common!!!

Apparetnyl they are not at all like dust mites...they are plenty big enough to see and feel if they crawl over you in the night!!

A good indication (apparently) of having them is you should be able to see their poo under you pillow............eeeeuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Happy hunting Lulu!!!

coggy · 17/04/2007 15:17

LOL at you doing an 'eeurgh' too PCM!!!!

I am now itching furiously!!!!!

pussycatmomma · 17/04/2007 15:24

just checked out bedbugs on wikipedia
the size of apple pips or lentils!!!!!!!!!!! Good Lord, lulu! Im almost booking you on the night train right now to come and stay in my (bug free) spare room!!!!!!! poor poor you.....
Coggy (sternly) another knuckle rapping if you do not explain your hmmmmmm!!!!!

OP posts:
coggy · 17/04/2007 15:28

Is it winding you up nicely???!!!!

lulu1414 · 17/04/2007 15:55

I too want to know the meaning and context of the hmmmmmm...! I'm so pleased my infestation is providing entertainment and distraction for all! Here is the thing... other than an ever increasing number of bites on my legs and arms I cannot find any other evidence. Supposedly they hide in the day and haunt you at night, but I should be able to see "evidence" and I can't! It is driving me bonkers! I have cleaned, vacuumed etc and have just called a pest control specialist.

On other matters- I am not being monitored this cycle as it was deemed that I was not over responding, so he said just to get on with it for 5 more months...

coggy · 17/04/2007 16:04

I should do random emoticons more often.................it's fun!!!!!

pussycatmomma · 17/04/2007 16:25

naughty naughty coggy.......... so you were just being random and like winding me up

OP posts:
coggy · 17/04/2007 16:38

Well...truthfully......I was reading what everyone was saying about your early test and "symptoms" and just felt like we always feel......it could be...but it might not be.....but it could be....but it probably won't be......but it could be....

You know the sort of thing.
I didn't want to comment on the positive vibes and I didn't want to make a negative comment either....so was the only way that I could respond to what had been said!!!!!

Does that make perfect sense?????!!

pussycatmomma · 17/04/2007 16:49

yes point taken,,,,,,,,you are off the hook, though i am under no illusions that my "symptoms" are not symptoms of prg even though they sound like they could possibly be. I think the only way a symptom can ever be classed as such is if you have the bfp right there in your hand. Which I dont.

wannaBeWhateverIWannaBe · 17/04/2007 16:49

I heard that artacle on bed bugs as well ... it's cringeworthy stuff lol.

pussycat...

the day I found out I was pregnant with my ds i sat in my bathroom with a positive test and said "but I can't be pregnant". Just because you haven't been lucky in the past, doesn't mean it won't happen in the future. now where's that statistic on what percentage get a positive test according to ho many days post ovulation they test?

cd24 is very, very early to test, and it's highly unlikely you would get a bfp then even if you were pregnant.

I actually would do another test, not least because although you're saying you're not pregnant, I think deep down you're still wondering whether you are - am I right?

lulu1414 · 17/04/2007 16:51

Wannabe and Coggy- hear, hear. You have both expressed exactly what I was thinking re PCM. We are all with you...

coggy · 17/04/2007 17:51

Yes.....we all know that we're not....but..............

It's true...we all do it!!!

pussycatmomma · 17/04/2007 20:39

i know......its futile isn't it. The hell doesnt improve does it
Wannabe thanks for your kind words, but I feel that whilst trying to be hopeful, I am also under no illusions that this may well not happen. I only have to look on my sisters experiences. And yes, I realise that my time may still come, but I no longer count my chickens.
Sorry to take up so much space with my dilly dallying.

Hi pussycat just wanted to wish you luck sending loads of positive vibes from warsop xxxx

lulu1414 · 18/04/2007 14:23

As a light interlude... the bed bug update... Last night I had my first bite-free night! Could be that they merely had their fill for now (they definitely had a all you can eat buffet over the past few days) or the steps I have taken have been somewhat successful. To be on the safe side mattress is once again being heated by the sun.

Hope everyone is OK.

pussycatmomma · 18/04/2007 18:35

hi all........(((big wave and hugs to laughalot!!!!)))) Cant believe you posted, bet you are a very busy mummy now, hope everything is going ok in sunny warsop Are you going back to work? If so I may bump into you yet!
Lulu - good going on the bedbugs!!! well done! Perhps that sunshine really is doing your mattress some good.
Cd32 today....no af. No sign of af.
(secret) Anyway, you lot are a bad influence, you buggers, found myself in the vitamins and medicine aisle in Sainsburys and we all know what they sell on that one dont we ladies! But I managed to resist and pull myself away and not to buy a test, that was pretty sterling stuff for me, Ive normally got a double pack in the basket before you can say "oooh I think ive just started!"
Must. Resist. Must. Be. Strong. Must be strong................aaaaaaarrrrrgggghhhhhhh
How is it possibe NOT to do this to yourself???!!!!
hugs to all, hope you have a fab evening the weather is beautiful here, hope it is where you are xx

xxxxx Would be great if we just had a thread for all us lot , whether we managed bfp or not wouldnt it? seems on the threads our friendships are defined as to whether we actually "made it" or not, where as in actual fact, its lovely to keep in touch even though other peoples situations may be different from our own.
Once again, bloody gorgeous children you produce there laughalot
take care x xx

It would be great for us to have our own little thread again I must admit I hardly chat to the others maybe we should make a effort and start a thread.

pussycatmomma · 19/04/2007 15:44
