Hi all.... as the 2ww buddies thread has got so long... thought we'd start a new one .. cd13 now... waiting for ovulation (next 2/3 days) and will then be back on the 2ww! How's everyone doing?

@Sarah2209 wow! That's great to know! I think my DH is waiting for his results to see if any amendments are needed.. he will pass a sample next Friday. Do you know how long it takes for the results to come back?

My poor DH has had loads and with the GP they were back within a day here in Cornwall, my DH rang and the Dr went through the results. In Surrey where we used to live they took a few days.

Need some opk advice, not used them before. So using clear blue with fmu, not the flashing smiley ones but the ones that give a smiley on the 2 most fertile days, been testing for 6 days and no smiley. Last 2 days also done a ic last thing at night and had very faint lines. CM right on track and had definite pain on my right yesterday. Could I have missed the surge? Has ovulation occurred or is it imminent?

Hi ladies, I've not been avoiding you I've had an absolute nightmare with work!

I have a gross question... my af is still in full... well flow! But actual parts of me seem to be falling out! Like massive clumps of tissue and insides! Is this normal? It's never happened before and I'm losing about 10ml blood an hour even a week in!

I was using the clear blue monitor which gives a big smiley face on ovulation. I waited and got nothing but like you I suspect ovulation was happening. So ignored monitor, dtd but continued to test and never got a smiley face that month. Well that "non ovulation" is now 4 years and and asleep in bed :)

Sorry pasta, I have no experience of this but my thoughts were it seemed pretty extreme.... might be worth getting it checked out as soon as you can x

Thanks @weasledee, it's so confusing, think I need to trust my body rather than the technology!

@plaintomatopasta I sometimes have weird clumps with my af (before I ttc, so no chance of being pregnant), my gyno said these are parts of endometrium and it's normal. If af is much longer than usual or if it's weirdly full for two or three cycles, then check with your doctor. Hope it's all good!

Thank you @Viletta . I'm on cd7 and I'm usually a 4/5 day bleed. It actually stopped for a few hours on Thursday and then came back with avengence!

@plaintomatopasta I wouldn't worry just now and see how your next af goes. Although I wish sh next af won't happen !

@Viletta it will happen. Dh has decided we won't be sleeping together now till at least September so I can start my new job.

It would be good for you to put your mind off ttc for a while. New job is exciting!

Got a baby bomb today! But a well deserved one, friend has been trying for over a year!

@sarah2209 what has happened to that lovely weather? it's cold and wet... lol... could have stayed in Wales for that... it is beautiful though...

no symptoms at all at mo... AF due in a few days... could test but prob won't and will wait for AF... hope all well with everyone x

@Villetta... someone who has been trying for a while finding they are pregnant is good news and hope for us all x

I worked my dates that it would be yesterday, today or tomorrow and still waiting...

Now I'm just wishing the day away so it's tomorrow which is really stupid as it's my one day off after working solidly for 2 weeks

@lisara79 it does! Another friend got pregnant cycle 1. I am happy for all pregnant ladies no matter how long they've been trying, it's a blessing! our busy and stressed lives make us wait a bit longer which it fine! Staying positive:)

I have couple of friends my age and still single.. they all tell me how lucky I am that I have a partner and conditions to actually try for a baby.. while they need to find partners first.. made me think that indeed I should appreciate what I have and what we all have!

Hi ladies anyone testing soon?? Af due Wednesday and me and oh think we can see a whisper of a line but I'm not even gonna embarrass myself with a photo haha! Can't wait to test tomorrow..

I'm still waiting for my smiley ovation face and getting more disheartened by the day. Has anyone got their bfp whilst getting a negative ovulation result?
