plaintomatopasta · 26/04/2017 09:20

I'm a bit crampy so I'm thinking I'm out. Going out today all day (long story) so I think I'll go mooncup in hand x

weasledee · 26/04/2017 09:22

Brilliant mamma bear!!! That's a line! :) x
Thanks Sarah, feel ok about it now and looking forward to trying again. I too feel I haven't got endless time left to try as I'm 40.... geriatric apparently 😬 x

Jords0105 · 26/04/2017 09:26

Yay mamabear I'm so happy for you!! I'm currently on route so hopefully I'll be joining you soon!

Sarah2209 · 26/04/2017 09:30

That's definitely a line mammabear - congratulations Star

Weasledee I know how you feel - I'm 43 and being told I'm geriatric and my good eggs will be running out soon by my fertility consultant.... luckily my Dr is great and he keeps telling me the average age of the mums he saw when he did a spell in obsetretics was 50! Plus I don't feel old.... let's hope we can go through this journey together with all these other lovely ladies!

Sarah2209 · 26/04/2017 09:31

Plaintomato - hope the cramps are a good sign. Hope you have a lovely day so you can take your mind off it x

lisara79 · 26/04/2017 09:36

Congratulations mamabear.... that's amazing!

fingers crossed for all the other testers...

potential tmi . I had a weird thing last night.... woke up in the middle of the night with a mouth and throat full of bile.... don't know if I was sick in my sleep or if it was acid reflux... very unpleasant... never had that before...

Sarah2209 · 26/04/2017 09:47

Oh how horrid lisara79.... either could be signs of something happening, especially as you've never had it before?

weasledee · 26/04/2017 11:35

Have you got any children already Sarah? I have 2 boys, aged 6 and 4.
My friend was told she needed "fairy dust" by the fertility clinic to have any chance of having babies..... she now has 2 boys, docs don't know everything..... X

mammabear4 · 26/04/2017 11:52

Thank you everyone I just really can't get over it!!! Xxxxx After last time I daren't even tell DH yet think I'm equal parts overjoyed and terrified. Buying some better tests today will test again tomorrow cos I almost don't believe it!
Sounds like some promising symptoms lisara when can you test? plain could be implantation cramps? Don't lose hope!! And come on Jords dying to know the result!!

Sarah2209 · 26/04/2017 12:07

Hi weasledee - sadly no! Just two miniature schnauzers who have put up with me mothering them for the past 8 years!! I've got faith it will happen when it's meant too.... we've just had a tough time over the past few years; DH had a serious head injury and took 2 years to recover hence why we didn't start trying earlier on in our relationship. It's our 10 year anniversary this year so hopeful it will be our year... and I know Drs don't know it all... they said my DH would never walk, talk or work again and he proved them all wrong!! :)

Mammabear it looks positive - let us know tomorrow's test result x

Jords0105 · 26/04/2017 12:52

I'm feeling a bit disheartened guys think it was a bfn on frer I just can't understand why I could see lines on both the Tescos and they definitely weren't evaps they came up straight away! Ive been googling and I've read that if you're saving fmu it needs to be in an airtight container or the hcg starts to break down, It was left out a good 3 hour so I'm hoping that's what's happened:( oh is going to bring me some more home from work that I can just mess about with because Im saving my other frer

Sarah2209 · 26/04/2017 13:20

Don't be disheartened- you've had 2 positives... what is the hcg level both measures? Are they both 10? Also 3 hour old pee could have been the issue... don't lose faith - your sticky bean could be in there.... doesn't time drag when your waiting.....

Jords0105 · 26/04/2017 13:28

I have no idea! Usually it says it on the boxes but I can't see anything on it telling me the sensitivity. I wish I'd of looked it up about the pee before I left and maybe I wouldn't have this issue ah well, yes time does drag! 4 and a half hours till Oh is back with some more!

littlemimosa · 26/04/2017 13:56

Jords - that's very frustrating for you. Don't lose hope though yet. What CD are you?

CONGRATS mamma! That is a very clear positive:) let's hope it's the first of a few this month on here.

Weasel welcome back but so sorry to hear you lost the pregnancy. Sounds like you're ok though and staying positive. Where are you in your cycle? Did things go back to normal quickly? I'm also 40 (41 in 2 weeks) & ttc #3. My DC are 5 & 3 but would love another. Feels a bit like last chance really. Staying positive though. You me and Sarah can be geriatrics together!

RhiBee29 · 26/04/2017 14:42

Congratulations @mammabear4 Star

LunaNightSky · 26/04/2017 14:51

Jords0105 · 26/04/2017 15:38

I'm on cd 26 and not sure when Afs due they keep changing x

weasledee · 26/04/2017 16:00

Hi mimosa, similar to me, I'm 41 on may 14th.... ancient :)
Well this is the problem, i now have no idea where I am cycle wise. Miscarriage stopped yesterday so I did a pregnancy test (no make sure hormone levels were falling) and ovulation test. The pregnancy test was negative but the ovulation test had a faint line?! Going to do another ovulation stick in he morning.... could I ovulate that quickly??? No idea 😬

Sarah2209 · 26/04/2017 16:55

Weasledee - not sure my story helps. I was told to treat day one of my miscarriage bleed as cycle day 1 and they'd internally scan me 13 days later. Sure enough my left Ovary was at 20 (mm I think they said) and they said at 22mm usually the egg is released. So they said I'd ovulate the next day or the Weds. Did an opk Tuesday morning and two strong lines. But everyone is different and the pre-ovulation part of your cycle can be any length. The post is usually 12-16 days depending on each person. How long did your miscarriage last for? And how long are your cycles usually?

weasledee · 26/04/2017 17:03

Was only 5 weeks and only really lasted 3 days. Sunday was terrible, very painful but by Monday I was in work and it's all stopped now. Pretty quick really. I'll keep poas and see if the line improves and have husband on stand by 😁

mammabear4 · 26/04/2017 17:25

Oh no Jords hopefully is just the left out FMU letting you down. FX and let us know!! Excited for everyone else to start testing.
I'm freaking out cos I've been getting twinges and cramps all day. After last time it's really making me nervous to feel any kind of pain. These next few months until I'm past the 12 week mark is going to be horrendous!

Sarah2209 · 26/04/2017 18:11

Yes mine was very painful and all done in 2 days... Well good luck I hope you ovulate soon and get back on the tww.....

Mammabear keeping everything crossed for you x
