So yet again, af has got me. Brown spotting this morning after a cycle where I was actually genuinely convinced I'd done it this time. Oh well.

Only on month 5 of actively trying. I'm ttc no2. I'm awaiting a referral for a hospital appointment to investigate scarring in my uterus so every month that goes by without a pregnancy, the more I can't deny that there's obviously something wrong (I've conceived twice, both just after a missed pill so 5 months is long in comparison!)

Just thought I'd say hi and hope THIS might be our month and we have a chance at a baby in 2018 instead :)

If it helps some of the results given by the secretaries simply say something along the line of 'of non menopausal levels' which means normal and some people panic of misinterpret them but they are literally reading what's in front of them.

I obviously don't know how your conversation went but I do hope it's not bad news or serious for you maybe 😘X

lookatthemoon · 13/04/2017 22:34

Agree- totally irresponsible of them to just drop the M word in there. 'Review test results' should be enough.

ImBreakingBad · 14/04/2017 08:56

Looks like I'm hopping on this one! Fingers crossed for everyone. Currently CD2. Feeling so much more optimistic after a horrible day yesterday. How is everyone this morning? X

Cookie1831 · 14/04/2017 08:59

Good thanks apart from am in work! CD9 and itching to get started OPK at the weekend!

Ava1985 · 14/04/2017 09:14

Morning all

maybe sorry to hear your having problems with your cycles. I hope it's nothing serious and doesn't interfere with ttc. My cycles used to be all over the show, I'd go months without one! Then I had dd and my body seemed to reset itself and started behaving! The female body really is a minefield of wonders!

I'm on cd7 and still another 8 days before I crack out the opks. Nothing to do but wait and af has done one now so I'm happy about that Smile

Giving Dtd a really good shot this month but dh is poss away over fertile window (like out the country away Sad) so hoping and praying I ovulate on the days he's here Sad X

Maybebaby2 · 14/04/2017 10:10

Thanks everyone, sleepless night but feeling positive today!

Boatrace hopefully that's just a guideline and you get one sooner, and if not you might not even need to go if this cycle lucky for you!

Sunshine I'm going to hold on to that and hope that's what was said and that I misinterpreted. Only thing is if it were normal why bring me in at all? Definitely going to try and get an appointment on Tues.

Ava got my fingers crossed for you for ov when your dh is home! My cycles are regular and painless only issue I have is ibs which I don't think is related. Had no other symptoms of menopause which is why it was the very last thing I expected to hear!

Hopefully it's all going to be ok will let you know how I get on at doctors. Until then have a lovely easter everyone! Flowers

Sunshinesaz86 · 14/04/2017 10:26

Good luck maybe enjoy your Easter!

I hope you manage to DTD when you need to and I'll keep my fingers crossed you ov when he's home. Just have lots of send before he leaves!

Took your advice cookie told DP AF has gone (which it pretty much has now.) So had a quick one on the sofa whilst covered in fake tan, how romantic 😂 Had another positive opk 6pm last night haven't yet done one this morning so will see what happens with them over the next few days.

Excitement2017 · 14/04/2017 12:31

Hi everyone

maybe hope things are ok, fingers crossed the drs receptionist was just being silly with her choice of words

Iam still waiting for af to arrive.....according to CBFM and Ovia should have been yesterday .....nothing but may be my op messing things up a bit. Hopefully it'll turn up soon !

Cookie1831 · 14/04/2017 15:55

Good work sunshine if you are successful you do realise I get to be godmother Smile

ttcnovice · 14/04/2017 18:50

Maybe I had two flashing (high) the month I got a static (peak), then the last two months I've had 8+ days of flashing before giving up and never seeing a peak! You're definitely in with a chance if you can DTD on Sunday! Good luck!

mrsb87 · 14/04/2017 19:07

Haha! Nice one sunshine!! I'm still trying to shift tonsillitis after almost 2 week! Af is still hanging around, but it won't be long and I'll need to entice dh into giving ttc another go, that'll be interesting HmmGrin

peanutbutteroreo · 14/04/2017 19:21

Quick question...my periods came back about 5 months ago (after DS was born, breastfeeding etc). The first few were every 28 days...but it's been almost 7 weeks since the last one, and I thought it was starting a couple of days ago but have had a lot of brown spotting etc, tiny bit of red blood but I don't think enough to call it a proper period and now it seems to have tailed off. Anyone had any experience of this?!

boatrace30 · 14/04/2017 19:40

peanut - I assume you are 100% definitely not pregnant?
Are you still breastfeeding? That might be effecting things.

MrsHandles · 14/04/2017 19:52

Never experienced it but I've heard of it; could you be pregnant Peanut?

Excitement2017 · 14/04/2017 19:55

peanut have you done a test just in case?

peanutbutteroreo · 14/04/2017 20:04

I did a test a few weeks ago to rule it out coz I wasn't feeling too well....and then another one when my period was 'late'. I'm definitely not pregnant. I stopped breastfeeding totally a few weeks ago....up til then I was just doing one feed a day which seemed to be a sufficiently small amount for my periods to kick back in. But maybe stopping completely has thrown my hormones off a bit or something?

Excitement2017 · 14/04/2017 20:08

Worth getting your thyroid checked then.ive had problems with mine that started after dc3 and it affected ovulation and periods

boatrace30 · 14/04/2017 22:23

Yep, maybe it's the breastfeeding. I'm sure stopping completely will have had an impact on hormone balance.

BlueeSpottyTiger · 14/04/2017 22:56

Hey girls!
Im so confused... I have NEVER had spotting in my life before af its always full blow and alot from the start to end.
Im cd26 today and i had my first positive opk at 11pm cd13... so i counted 1dpo from cd15. And thats if i even ovulated then. Im not temping so i have no idea just guessed.
Af is due tomorrow.. i had a few cramps this afternoon and then when i wiped after a wee around 7pm there was a bit of pink blood like a streak in otherwise clear runny cm. I've not cramped since and nothing else has came out( i put a pad on as i thought it was af) im now so confused whats happening.
Any advice atall?? Xx

ttcnovice · 15/04/2017 00:38

Sorry look my post was to you about the CB OPKs not maybe Blush

juneybean · 15/04/2017 06:56

Bluee could be implantation bleeding if you never usually spot. Try a test in 48 hours! Fingers crossed for you!!

As for me temperature is dropping so hopefully AF is imminent as i ovulated on day 15 this cycle and if that happens again we will end up being on holiday far away from our donor!!

Hope everyone else is okay!

Excitement2017 · 15/04/2017 08:49

AF has arrived so I'm cd1 today. CBFM and Ovia all sorted out so hopefully they'll be in sync again this month as my cycle is irregular and I'd have no idea of ovulation otherwise !

Luckily my fertile window appears to be after my 3 weeks of recovery I'd officially up so we can ttc without worrying about damaging my tubes after the surgery ! I think it'll take a few months in reality but at least we can finally try !

lookatthemoon · 15/04/2017 09:05

Thanks Ttcnovice - still no static smiley face this morn so am def in with a good shot for tomorrow. Fx!

Juney - sorry to hear you might be away from donor during fw. This can all be soo frustrating!!

Hoping all becomes nice and regular for you soon excitement! Smile

MrsHandles · 15/04/2017 09:13

What are people's thoughts on just DTD 3 times a week? Is that the best way for a BFP or should I be tracking more? I'm already using Ovia but my cycles are irregular, therefore my predicted fertile window keeps changing. Any advice?

BlueeSpottyTiger · 15/04/2017 09:34

It was af...... Sad fertile window starts again in 9days.

mrshandles well they do say everyother day is best so x3 p/w is pretty much that anyway i would say thats fine Smile

So i started temping yesterday so i hope along with opks i can see when i ovulate for sure this month. I'm worrying that because im still breastfeeding i might not ovulate even though im getting the surge?

Can anyone give me a brief summary of what your temp should do during the cycle.. if you do or do not conceive what usually happens? Xx
