So yet again, af has got me. Brown spotting this morning after a cycle where I was actually genuinely convinced I'd done it this time. Oh well.

Only on month 5 of actively trying. I'm ttc no2. I'm awaiting a referral for a hospital appointment to investigate scarring in my uterus so every month that goes by without a pregnancy, the more I can't deny that there's obviously something wrong (I've conceived twice, both just after a missed pill so 5 months is long in comparison!)

Just thought I'd say hi and hope THIS might be our month and we have a chance at a baby in 2018 instead :)

All aboard the May Train!
BlueeSpottyTiger · 01/05/2017 17:27

Cookie!!! Yes i see a line Grin very faint but very there too... Congrats! How many dpo are you xx

Cookie1831 · 01/05/2017 17:33

Absolutely no idea that I ovulated? I am cd26 but last period really light have been having flashing smileys but no solid I just have no clue what is going on but I feel so sick!!

boatrace30 · 01/05/2017 17:40

Does anyone else find they get positive opks for a few days on the trot. My first positive was Saturday night and still getting a positive now.

Excitement2017 · 01/05/2017 17:41

There's def a line there but it's so faint. Can you get a frer? I think blue dye tests are notorious for evaporation lines

Cookie1831 · 01/05/2017 17:49

Yeah will be hitting the shops tomorrow damned bank holiday!!!

TriJo · 01/05/2017 17:54

I see a vertical line but also something to the right. I'd actually consider that to be a faulty test but retest tomorrow.

Maybebaby2 · 01/05/2017 18:01

It looks like a cross, definitely a line down but also a line going across at the top. Hopefully it's a bfp but I would check again tomorrow, fx for you!

ImBreakingBad · 01/05/2017 18:09

Can definitely see a line cookie Grin. Fingers are crossed for you!!

I've sat and done some investigation.. going by previous cycles I could either be 1 dpo or 3dpo! Ovia thinks I'm 6 dpo (hopefully) I'm having lots of one sided cramps and it's really pinchy feeling! Anyone experienced this?

MissDollyMix · 01/05/2017 18:33

Hi All (actually my autocorrect just wrote 'gin all' which would probably be better!) Haven't posted for a few days so just catching up with everyone. Lovely to see some more BFPs. Feeling very 'meh' about TTC at the moment. Just want to at least start trying (DH has been away all weekend but pretty sure we missed the window this month) and I've had brown spotting all weekend. I don't know why. I think my body is just playing up to be awkward. I'm hoping and praying it doesn't mean my body is going to go into one of its random periods of hormone imbalance with mad cycles. My periods have been so regular recently it would just be Sod's law that they go crazy again just when we've finally decided to start TTC. I can't talk to DH about it because he will just roll his eyes and I said I would try not to get too obsessive about TTC (oops...) I keep seeing pregnant women and tiny babies everywhere too.

boatrace30 · 01/05/2017 18:44

Definitely a line cookie! Hopefully another test tomorrow will confirm it m. Fingers crossed!

sallywiththegoodhurr · 01/05/2017 18:58

I can see a very faint line cookie, finger's crossed!

Sorry to hear about AF showing for a few Sad

I'm currently 8dpo and tested this morning, BFN Obviously. I know I shouldn't of but I just can't contain myself! Luckily that was my last test.

WantToGoingTo · 01/05/2017 20:01

Definitely a line cookie fx for tomorrow!

homebird85 · 01/05/2017 20:09

So where is everyone up to in this wait I'm on 2DPO ... those that have been doing this a while do you get more or less patient as the cycles add up? X

ladydolly · 01/05/2017 20:16

I'm 3 days dpo but we only dtd once and that was 3 days before ov so slim chance. I actually feel a bit more relaxed ny writimg this month off, it was only supposed to be a month to figure my cycle out rather than properly 'trying' anyway.

Viletta · 01/05/2017 20:18

Hi Cookie, I can see a faint vertical line. Good luck! I'm getting a superdrug test tomorrow, but will use it on Friday.. I'm expecting AF on Saturday or Sunday!

WantToGoingTo · 01/05/2017 20:36

Hi homebird I am only on CD10 today so fw approaching for me! Also only on cycle 3 so don't ask me about patience 😂 I lack it already at this stage! 🙈

Ava1985 · 01/05/2017 20:43

cookie I see the line too! Fx it's darker tomorrow, do keep us updated! 😄

Lady I'm about 2/3 DPO, so will be testing similar time to you! Not very hopeful though as already getting usual af symptoms Angry

Hope everyone has had a lovely bank hol weekend X

Viletta · 01/05/2017 20:51

Hi everyone! Thanks for replying about DTD frequency. I will aim on having it everyday or every other day, this really reduces my stress levels. I'm otherwise too angry about a wasted cycle.

CinnamonSwirlGirl85 · 01/05/2017 20:56

Homebird - Good luck this month! Sorry you're in the hellish 2WW. I find it really varies cycle to cycle: the ones where we've DTD at the 'right' times and where I get loads of symptoms and think I MUST be pregnant seem to really drag; the ones where I don't think I have a shot and don't agonise over every "symptom" go more quickly (and suck less when AF comes!). Ridiculous really Grin.

Viletta · 01/05/2017 20:57

Hi Excitement2017, my DH is drinking as well.. just 1-2 beers but far too often! His BFF has a baby and his DW just had twins and he never gave up his daily glass of wine (or two!). All kids are healthy luckily.. so every time I bring up to DH that he should stop drinking during TTC he refers to this friend of his... I got him zync vitamins hope this will balance things up a bit

boatrace30 · 01/05/2017 21:02

Homebird. It definitely gets worse as the cycles add up. I'm in month 10/cycle 7 (long cycles here) and it got so bad last month that I was in a proper state. So once I hit the 2ww this month DH is hiding the tests and I am going to make a proper effort to ignore all symptoms stay off google and will also stop temping. It's going to be operation chill out!
As for my cycle, I'm not sure as I'm currently in the third day of getting positive opks!

mrsb87 · 01/05/2017 21:30

Good luck with "operation chilli out", boatrace!
Af symptoms seem to have faded today so maybe it was the curry on Saturday night that gave me the iffy tummy yesterday Grin the bfn this morning has lowered my anticipation but I guess it 11dpo could still be too early to show anything?

BlueeSpottyTiger · 01/05/2017 21:37

I feel so much more chilled out this month doing everything i can do..
Im 4dpo and I've not even symptom spotted once yet 😂
Does anyone find work a good distraction? I dont have a min to think about anything at work really helps take my mind off it all.

homebird85 · 01/05/2017 22:50

I'm feeling quite chilled out compared to last month. Deffo need to keep busy ! Starting a slimming group Wednesday so going to get into some clean cooking. Need to loose weight Hmm
