So yet again, af has got me. Brown spotting this morning after a cycle where I was actually genuinely convinced I'd done it this time. Oh well.

Only on month 5 of actively trying. I'm ttc no2. I'm awaiting a referral for a hospital appointment to investigate scarring in my uterus so every month that goes by without a pregnancy, the more I can't deny that there's obviously something wrong (I've conceived twice, both just after a missed pill so 5 months is long in comparison!)

Just thought I'd say hi and hope THIS might be our month and we have a chance at a baby in 2018 instead :)

Ttc since August and not ovulating regularly with super long cycyles, so over the moon to get a smiley today. Ridiculously excited .

Anyone else testing in the next week? I'm on cd28 and planning on waiting until next Thursday before testing but may need some encouragement to not cave in before then!

Me!! I'm testing next Thursday too! That is the earliest I can test though so unlikely to cave before then.

I won't!! 😜The only advice I can give is don't have any tests in the house. If there is a stick in the house, I will pee on it!

I do have two tests but I'm a right stingy bugger and would resent having to buy more if I felt I'd wasted them.

Thursday testers - that makes me 10DPO and from previous experience I only got a BFP at 13DPO. I'll no doubt still join you though out of sheer impatience.

So after much consideration we've decided to try for baby no. 2.... I had a fairly traumatic time with DS1 and PND (all totally worth it but tough)

I came off my pill in March.... had a withdrawal bleed 19th-20th.... now nothing. It didn't take long for me to have AF when I came off the pill last time this feels like forever which is not normal for me.... I also have PCOS which I'm now paranoid has got worse again as I've gained weight since having my DS. Taken a couple of hpt and all bfn atm....it's driving me mad!!! Just want my body to decided what it's doing.... Sorry for the long intro post...

Pebble - i will only be 10dpo too but that won't stop me being irrational.

Last time I tested from 9DPO I should get shares in HPT companies lol

Where in the world is af?? Af due today always bang on like clockwork normally comes in morning. 14dpo, bfn and temp drops. But no sodding af! I just want to start this cycle already! So frustrating.

Anyway... should be due May bfp/af some time around 19/20 if this months af decides to show shortly. Either way, some time in May

Feeling especially lonely and sad today as was convinced we'd done it and was 2 days late but seems not... bloody AF!

I'm not sure on the right lingo but I think I'm:
Age 37
TTC #1
Cycle #10
CD -0 (I've had BFN today and a sign I'll probably come on tomorrow or Sunday)
DPO not sure, don't test but have all the kit so think it's way past time to start getting serious & start temping etc.!

I have OPKs but instructions say pee in a bucket at mid-day then hang around for 20mins to get a result - how do others manage this in a place of work?!?? Any advice? I can't imagine how to do it discretely!

Gingergnome you could pee in something like a mini jam jar or a sample pot (like you get from doctors) and test later when you get home?

I'm glad to see everyone getting positive OPK's . I've had an awful week. It seems as if nothing can go right. Work has been OTT busy, my brains failing to compute, I feel frumpy and this TTC is really getting me down. Hope everyone is ok! X

Im on cd 7 and had a near positive.. which i didnt get until cd 12 last month.. so i think i could ovulate a few days early this month. Dtd everyother day until fw on monday. Waitinh for my concieve plus lube in the post.. it should arrive tomorrow

maybe im not 100% sure. It looks extremely close, if not? Maybe tomorrow?

Bluee just noticed the control line on your tests are a different colour on each one, is that because they're a few days old an they've faded?

If it helps breaking I've been feeling crappy too and not even working this week. I was really ill Sunday- Wednesday and that on top of all the TTC failure nearly tipped me over the edge.
So, we booked a holiday today to cheer ourselves up! (We hadn't previously as in my head I was going to be heavily pregnant!)

Maybe i had a few left from a different batch from last cycle. Ah and i didnt even think about that!.... maybe that explains that dark one because that also happened last cycle on cd8 left over from the cycle before lol. Because the opk i just did was half as light 😂 xx

I'm sorry to hear you've been under the weather boatrace. Hope you are feeling better. I've just had a good cry, it's been building up for ages. Definitely pouring a glass of something strong tomorrow. X

Bluee that's so strange that different batches have different shades of control line, could get very confusing if you're getting darker test lines but its a lighter control line! I'm now going to compare all the control lines of my cheapies as well as the test lines! 😂

How often do people dtd after getting a positive OPK? I'm so scared of missing the egg and ruining our chances.
