Thread 6 already. We are a bunch of ladies who are either

  • humping (TTC)
  • by humping yet (waiting to TTC)
  • humped (preggers)

And everything in between!

We've had 7 BFPs in three months and we love a bit of lucky lube and a squinter on 9DPO - come and join the madness!

Can't quite believe this...?! Is it? Never seen anything other than brilliant white on an IC! The line is pink...

Wilde I see it! Doesn't look pink in the photo but it's probably just the picture. Have you got a FRER to confirm? I would be getting excited if I were you!

NaturWilde · 23/03/2017 06:12

I don't...I've the Sainsbury's tests which I'll use from tomorrow evening when DP back. Managed to get a better photo too, it's definitely pink irl. After staring at a lot of tests on Countdowntopregnancy I have good eyes for the difference!

First month!

Amazing congrats!!

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 23/03/2017 06:29

Morning ladies - welcome Wilde and congratulations on what looks like a BFP! Let us know if you have do anymore tests!

Hope all you lovely London lot are ok! Just terrible!

I've had such a busy week in work - I feel absolutely exhausted this morning. Parents arriving from Ireland tomorrow for a week. Can't wait to chill out a bit.

Congratulations natur!!!!! That's amazing news!!

Not had time to catch up properly or sort out new list sorry but will do asap. Have a good day everyone xx

NaturWilde · 23/03/2017 06:42

Thanks everyone. Trying not to get excited...I know I've tested early, at my age I'm being careful. Will test again every couple of days before period due.

Think this is a lucky thread!

HbH04 · 23/03/2017 07:30

Congratulations Natur !

That's amazing to get such a good line on an IC at only 9/10dpo! You're braver than me for trying!

My Dad just had some gossip on our family whatapp group.... our auntie had text to say our cousin has found out she's pregnant AT 20 WEEKS!!!! Surely she would have had a sympton or two!! Cray!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 23/03/2017 07:33

That's crazy hb did she not notice no periods?! Or maybe she was on the pill?

HbH04 · 23/03/2017 07:38

I was wondering if it was failed contraception (a client of mine found out at 5 months!!! She was on the implant) I won't get details like that via my dad tho!!! She's 32 and engaged, so not the worst situation to be in!

DancingUnicorn · 23/03/2017 07:47

Maybe she was just too terrified to tell her mum till now?! ;) I never used to see how it was possible, but so many people on the antenatal thread have had odd days of bleeding that you could assume we're a really light period, especially if on hormonal contraceptives so I'm starting to be more sympathetic. Don't know how you wouldn't notice this level of exhaustion though!!!

Congratulations Wilde! Hope you continue to get lines!! Any chance you ovd earlier than you thought?

I was irrationally excited in the night when I woke up and needed to pee. Now, not so much as it then took over 2 hours to get back to sleep. Think I may be a walking zombie today!

Penguin27 · 23/03/2017 07:51

Congratulations Wilde!

Omg hb that's crazy!! Could you imagine - I'd be so worried about my eating/drinking over the past 4 months and the effects it might have had! How did she eventually find out?

TheGrumpySquirrel · 23/03/2017 07:56

I'm an hour early for my meeting this morning because I just can't cope with rush hour tube!

DH and I still getting on each other's nerves.. maybe I'm pregnant ha! Think we just need to give each other some space for a bit.

4dpo now and boobs are bigger but think that's normal for this part of my cycle. At least it's Friday tomorrow! Only 8 days till I can test...

buzzmoon · 23/03/2017 08:00

Wow! Congrats -wilde!! That's so strong from 9/10dpo! How are you feeling?

Omg at 4/5 months!!! Hopefully that means I won't be that fat if some people didn't even notice!!

It's so close to the weekend now girls yay! 🎉

Parastars · 23/03/2017 08:09

I'm going to join again; I commented on an earlier thread about drinking more water, eating healthily etc. I then got my BFP which was obviously incredibly exciting.
However, sadly, at an 8 week scan there was no heartbeat so I am in the recovery stage.
We will want to try again, once I have had a normal af again probably. I just don't know when this will be, and in the meantime, I think it's important to be kind to myself and fill my body with as much goodness as possible.

Congratulations to all those BFPs I missed when I was too tired to keep up with the threads.

DancingUnicorn · 23/03/2017 08:20

Oh para I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad you continue to be kind to yourself. 💐

buzzmoon · 23/03/2017 08:31

Oh para I'm so sorry :( I can't imagine what you're going through. Be kind to yourself ❤️

HbH04 · 23/03/2017 08:33

Sorry for your loss Para

Hope you get a sticky bean soon Flowers

Penguin27 · 23/03/2017 08:54

Para I'm so sorry SadFlowers

Grumpy maybe you are pregnant!! Don't worry about yours and DH's niggles, it's normal for that to happen every now and then! Maybe you could buy him some silly little treat just to remind him that you love him (like how he might buy you flowers)... can't wait to test with you!!

xlaura · 23/03/2017 09:27

Can't believe we're on thread 6 already. Work is really getting on my nerves today - I seem to be working with a bunch of inconsistent twats 😂 there so up and down and my team leader seems to be chirping in my ear every 5 seconds telling me not to laugh and to do some work.. I could've turned round and said 'Oh I'm sorry, I forgot we worked in a fucking library' she's completely changed my mood today. Got a few twinges again and according to my app it's saying my fertile window was from Sunday 19th March to tomorrow so I'm assuming I've ovulated by now?

Sorry to hear about that para thinking of you Hun

Tigger83 · 23/03/2017 09:41

I've had to work from home today feeling shocking. Just want to go to bed. I'm feeling sick all the time. Trying not to take anything though as I hate the thought of putting chemicals in my body unless I have to.

I am feeling fat and miserable and pants. Sorry for the pity party for one, I know I shouldn't moan and should be grateful that it's a sign of a healthy baby but 6 weeks of feeling like this is starting to really drain me.

NaturWilde · 23/03/2017 09:44

Para so sorry for your loss. I don't know you all yet but I can imagine it's something many of us had been through - I know I have. There are no words, other than to allow yourself to feel your feelings and continue to look after yourself.

I'm taking each day as it comes as I know I'm very early and really it's that 12 week mark when anyone can relax. I feel full of energy tbh!

Redpony1 · 23/03/2017 09:49

So sorry to hear your news Para Sad Flowers

Orange Very glad you got home ok, must have been so shocking and scary for you in Westminster yesterday! Sad

Congratulations Wilde!! Strong line for so early! Just shows how different it can be for people, some people barely get a line even after AF is late!

confusedat23 · 23/03/2017 09:57

Another londoner here but actually work out of London so not massively relevant! Working in Security just scares me that bit more when you work in a high risk building. Sorry for all those people who suffered yesterday! Flowers

Para I am sorry for your loss please be kind and drink lots of wine and eat lots of soft cheese! Wine

Grumpy every couple go through a bit of a snappy stage... can you take a cute little gift and tell him you know you're a hormonal cow (take the blame) but you love him really!

9 weeks today and feel like i've been hit by a bus... booking in on Monday and i've just realised i might have to wait until 26th for my next scan and that makes me really sad!

confusedat23 · 23/03/2017 09:59

Oh and about the unknown pregnancy... DHs counsin was 38 weeks when she found out from having braxton hicks!... her DD was back to back so she had no bump and had periods throughout like normal! Crazy eh!!!
