Thread 6 already. We are a bunch of ladies who are either

  • humping (TTC)
  • by humping yet (waiting to TTC)
  • humped (preggers)

And everything in between!

We've had 7 BFPs in three months and we love a bit of lucky lube and a squinter on 9DPO - come and join the madness!

Thanks wiggley! That's good news on your 15 day luteal phase - nice & long! I think mines about that too, hopefully this cycle will confirm (if I don't get a BFP... Feeling kinda nervous about the possibility!).

Another work week .. I'm feeling the clock change this morning 😴

NaturWilde · 27/03/2017 07:25

Morning all! How are you?

I'm officially 4 weeks today! Mines getting stronger, even the Sainsbury's one this morning was a B- very F- P!! And so interesting that OPKs do pick up pregnancy.

DP and I are planning to get married!!! In 2-3 months!! We've been planning it anyway, this year or next, but when I told him about my BFP he "officially asked" and we're getting on with it...!

DancingUnicorn · 27/03/2017 07:32

Confused so glad you took some time for yourself, but very happy to have you back. Definitely important to take extra care of yourself! Hope today goes well.

Seven hope your annoying cycles even themselves out with a bfp this month! It must be really annoying not knowing when to test/expect AB.

Also agreed, love the bfps here! Feel so privileged that we get to know so soon too!

Urgh. Wish I could stay at home today. I like my job, but I just can't be bothered right now.

DancingUnicorn · 27/03/2017 07:33

Woohoo Wilde! Congratulations! Enjoy the planning!! :)

Penguin27 · 27/03/2017 07:36

Morning all! It's that time of the week again 😒

Good luck today confused!

Congratulations Wilde, that's so exciting!! A bride-to-be and mummy-to-be in the same week!

Still feeling no symptoms... Confused

NaturWilde · 27/03/2017 07:40

Thank you!

Penguin how many dpo/weeks are you?

HeyJupiter · 27/03/2017 07:55

Good morning all,

Hb so how did it feel waking up and remembering you have only gone and got pregnant? Grin Hope you’re feeling wonderful.

Oh seven I suppose you could test weekly from next friday just to get a feel for whats going on? Sorry your body is being a bit confusing.

Wiggley that’s a lovely length luteal phase. I think the LP rarely changes in length so at least you’ll be able to pinpoint when your AB is due each month if you decide to OPK when the time comes.

Wilde what wonderful news, congratulations! Enjoy the wedding planning. What an amazing weekend you’ve had. So happy for you both. Also pleased to hear that all the lines are getting darker, it’s a nice feeling isn’t it.

5+2 and no real nausea yet - is it a bit early though? When did the other humped ladies start feeling sick?

HeyJupiter · 27/03/2017 07:55

Penguin don't worry honestly, I had barely any at all at your stage apart from the scratchy womb thing...fingers crossed!!

NaturWilde · 27/03/2017 08:06

I've no real symptoms yet either, and obviously worrying about it!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 27/03/2017 08:12

Penguin I have no out of the ordinary symptoms either matey. Feeling very down that it's Monday! 😭

DancingUnicorn · 27/03/2017 08:18

I had no symptoms at all! Was convinced AB was on her way! So not necessarily a bad sign.

Jupiter I think I remember describing a nausea feeling at 5 something. But I realise now it wasn't real nausea. Didn't really kick in until a week later. Plus some people don't get it at all!!

Grumpy I'm with you on the Monday feeling. 😢

HbH · 27/03/2017 08:29

Morning!

Thanks Wiggly this was cycle 1, so definitely wasn't expecting such results! Really nice to be getting a handle on your cycles in advance, i was annoyed initially having to wait but went into it with way more knowledge as a result!

seven totally agree with being so overjoyed every time there's a BFP, this is such a lovely group & bar my DH, the only folks that know! (We might tell one of my sisters so she can be my wing woman in italy on the drinking concealing front! - she told me very early about pregnancy, but for different reasons)

Congrats on the engagement wilde

jupiter I didn't wake up like that as such.... I was awake for the second night running for two hours so was pretty pissed off when my alarm went off!! I very definitely have nausea already, but not a sniff of a sore boob... must work differently for everyone!

Happy Monday to all!

Penguin27 · 27/03/2017 09:36

I'm glad that lack of symptoms is common, even for the preggos amongst us! It gives me a little bit of hope for testing later this week.

Definitely feeling the Monday blues with you grumpy Sad

Penguin27 · 27/03/2017 09:38

Oh sorry Wilde, I'm not sure when or even if I ov'd, so not sure dpo. But Ovia has me down as CD26 today! AF expected on 31st.

NaturWilde · 27/03/2017 09:52

Sending back two unopened bottles of Inositol to Zita West to be swapped for pregnancy vitamins! Made me think of any tips I can pass on to the stil humping...

I took Seven Seas Trying for a Baby, Q10, Inositol and DHA for 4 months before trying. Plus Vitamin D spray. As I'm 38 really wanted to make sure my body (and eggs!) was ready.

Also took EPO before ovulation, and baby aspirin after.

I just bought PreSeed after reading this thread but didn't get chance to use it yet! And was going to start eating liver, as I've heard great things about that (and I'll be eating it lots after I give birth!).

Knew my cycle really well via Kindara and temping, plus using OPKs.

Can't believe it happened first month! Thought I'd missed the window as DP was working away and returned the night before ovulation day! Plus I didn't have EWCM - just watery.

Redpony1 · 27/03/2017 10:07

Lol red you made me smile .. username is more about how my DD is when she gets out of bed in the morning!

buzzmoon · 27/03/2017 10:43

parsnips! How was the races? Hope youv had a nice weekend!

Omg guys literally slap me 😂 on the tube this morning, I sat down and this bloke tutted at me at the fact that I had sat down instead of him sitting down. He was about 30, and immediately got another seat 🙄 anyway, I only bloody cried 😂😂😂 seriously I'm really worried something is going to happen at work and I'm going to cry in a meeting or something! Stupid bloody hormones! This has got to be the worst symptom! Haha

Penguin27 · 27/03/2017 12:12

Haha buzz, those crazy emotional hormones sound impossible!! Don't feel silly - ignorant man, has got no right to tut at you even if you weren't pregnant!! I hope nothing happens to make you give the game away at work Cake

Hi parsnips, how was the races??

TheGrumpySquirrel · 27/03/2017 12:30

Aww buzz bless you! Are you wearing a badge? What a horrid man. I once had a guy full on shout at me for 5 minutes for trying to get on the tube in front of him, saying I'm an entitled bitch for being a woman .. Shock I sobbed all the way home in front of everyone Blush this was some time ago and not even pregnant!

I've been feeling very weepy today too! Fed up with corporate life and DH and I are considering packing it all in for a house on the south coast! Want the new bean to grow up with some freedom and space and grass and dogs.. I want to be outside way more too... we talk about doing this a lot but I don't know how we can do it as our jobs are so london centric .. we could rent out our London flat but we'd be too poor to buy another and no income .. argh

TheGrumpySquirrel · 27/03/2017 12:40

Hmmm some pelvic twinges today.. possibly scrapey scrapey .. but not sure!!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 27/03/2017 12:41

My anxiety levels are not helped by this job.. I have overcome chronic anxiety in the past but it's threatening to return Sad

NaturWilde · 27/03/2017 12:45

Oh Grumpy that sounds tough...I work in a challenging, high-level position and spent some of last year feeling burnt out. Can you take some time off to yourself?
