archies thank you for sharing about your acupuncture- sounds a lot more in depth than mine and it sounds well worth the £60 - I've heard that Moxi thing is good for tTC. I'm a cold type too.

rainbow acupuncture is supposed to be very helpful for tTC and generally good for overall health so I would recommend if you can find one and afford it. Reference the walking round thing - I googled that the other day and it suggests lying with hips slightly raised for 10-20 mins.... of course I lay there for 2 hours to be on the safe side 😂

dolly woah woah woah .... glad to hear your ok... how worrying for you... you tell that bean of yours that it has lots of mn virtual aunties who are looking forward to seeing him/her ... #pmaforever

Hey all, just catching up. Glad so many of you are having such lovely relaxing cycles, after all we're supposed to enjoy making babies right??!!

Dolly so glad to hear you and bean are safe and well, like hippychic says you make sure your little bean knows how important they are and how many people are waiting for them!! 😊

Cd27 here today and not a single symptom either way. I still don't believe I've ovulated so I'm guessing I'll soon have a small break and then on to cycle 13 😏 Must keep reminding myself fate has control and everything happens for a reason. Xx

notparticularlypatient · 29/03/2017 22:13

Just popping by to give dolly a virtual hug, and say that as cakes I had a similar experience at six and eight weeks. Proper bleeding but still a heartbeat and no explanation. Was terrified but DD actually stayed put until induced 10 days after due date... They probably told you at the epu, but bleeding is very common in early pregnancy and most of the time all is fine.

Sorry for the unwelcome bfns today as well, I hope they turn positive asap!

olicat · 29/03/2017 23:34

Thanks for the welcome - not too sure what to expect with ttc as have had a few issues with painful cysts on my ovaries (though never diagnosed with pcos) but otherwise pretty healthy. Going to try to enjoy it for the first bit!

dolly - hope everything is ok for you. X

@dolly you poor thing that sounds very scary. Hopefully it's just a one off and nothing comes off it. Take it easy.

Sorry to those who got bfns in the past few days. Hopefully just tested too early.

Ps charley if you're still lurking please come back - I'd love to know how you are doing :)

Moo31 · 30/03/2017 08:35

@hippy Pma! Pma! Pma! :D

rainbowsockstoday · 30/03/2017 08:37

Hope you're ok this morning @dolly xxx

I'm feeling proper crampy so my bfn was more an early warning sign this month. Started my positive affirmations again because I'm struggling mentally with a lot and it's slowly helping. I look a right prat talking to myself as I walk to school though 😆 my oh thinks it's a load of rubbish but I don't care. Don't get paid till the 25th April and need all the money really. However I've just found out I get an extra almost £4 a day I didn't realise and that £48 bonus is going to go to acupuncture and see if that helps ttc and my positivity. He also thinks that's a massive waste too!

Hippychic79 · 30/03/2017 08:51

rainbow I would ignore your oh and carry on regardless... your doing great under difficult circumstances by the sound of it ... #loveaffirmations

dolly hope your ok this morning

sarahb eeeeek not long to go ... will you be testing or waiting it out?

moo #pmaforever

patient how you getting on ? Your having a relaxed cycle too aren't you?

olicat we would all love to tell you what to expect but from what I've gathered from mn and through lots of reading - everyone's journey is very different but we will all get to destination bfp. On thread PMA you can expect warmth, laughter and support .... These ladies are just lovely and between us all we know quite a lot about tTC... so if you've got any questions just throw them out there and we will all do our best to answer if we can

Thank you everyone! You know, it's especially at times like these, scary, worrying or just downright frustrating/sas times when AF shows that this group really kicks up a gear and makes you feel so supported and less lonely. Obviously as we've told very few people about the pregnancy yet, yesterday was quite a lonely time until I came on here. You guys really are like an amazing friendship group and I'm honestly so thankful for all the kind words Smile
Today, still spotting, still old blood so not too concerned as it's got no worse and as patient said, it is common in early pregnancy. FX it stays light or bogs off completely! Feeling optimistic again today though! #yayforPMA

rainbow sounds like your OH could do with a little bit of PMA. If he thinks it's a waste of time, what is he doing to help your chances? At least you're actively looking for things to get your BFP! Take no notice and carry on.

Hi olicat - we've all been newbies once before so ask away if there's anything unsure of and as hippy said, between us there's bound to be someone who knows/has experienced something like it!

Feeling frustrated only DTD once since getting solid smiley due to nightshift etc feel like Iv blooming missed my chance 😭😭😭

Ohb0llocks · 30/03/2017 10:31

Sorry I've been a bit MIA guys, but I'm just so fucking exhausted.

6 weeks today, DP and I have not DTD since conception now.

I'm tired from the minute I wake up until the minute I fall asleep.

Sickness is starting to hit too, only actually vomited twice, but nausea and wretching pretty much all day. I had hyperemesis with DS so I'm a bit worried it will happen again.

Don't get me wrong I am more than thrilled to be in this situation but I forgot how rough early pregnancy can be!

How are the other grads doing? Same symptoms?

I've been trying to keep myself and DS busy throughout the day so the tiredness hits less

rainbowsockstoday · 30/03/2017 11:20

@0hb0llocks from the conception of my son till the day we started trying again I had not even an overly affectionate hug from my OH. The start of us trying was DTD once a month on day 14. Then I slowly had to move him round to more often so we would DTD 3 times in fertile window according to the app. Now he's upset it doesn't work so the last six months have been all or nothing. Now he settles for eod from day 6 till day 1 as long as I don't tell him it's pointless AFTER ov

Good to hear you're feeling better Dolly!! Xx

Ohb sorry you're suffering, hopefully it will pass soon for you and you can blossom!! 💐

Thanks hippy, no symptoms today on my due date. I won't test for a week yet as I don't think I ovulated so I'm quite sure af will turn up. That excerpt is very interesting too!! God only knows what hubby would say if I told him fw was now increasing though!! 🙈 Xx

Hippychic79 · 30/03/2017 14:39

Sarahb yeah the extract is interesting, so i thought i would share it, not sure what to make of it though to be honest, I think the author is just trying to say don't just focus on having sex around ovulation and that ovulation can vary from month to month ... i don't know??!!
Wow another week to test - you've got some patience... I'm usually climbing the walls by cd27 .... although this cycle i have relaxed so much, I have to think long and hard what day I'm on :)

Just cried at school because of mean kids. Very emotional this week. Af is going to kill me on Saturday. Might need oh to buy a massive bar of df chocolate

sarahboro1 · 30/03/2017 18:03

I think she has a very good point hippy although that could prove difficult for those of us whose hubbys are less than enthusiastic shall we say!! 😳 I just don't want to test and be disappointed, I'm a wise old bird when it comes to this lark now and I've learnt not to get my hopes up, what will be will be!

Aww rainbow bless you!! Chocolate is the answer to all problems I find so go for it!!! 💐 Xx

Moo31 · 30/03/2017 19:07

@dolly so glad you are feeling better :)

@ohb I'm the same re sickness and exhaustion. I have only actually been sick 4 times but nauseous constantly. I have pinpointed that I need to eat every 2 hours to keep the bad nausea at bay lol so in have a constant supply of snacks, biscuits fruit etc. I have got myself a pressure sore on my wrist from wearing my sickness bands constantly for almost 2 weeks lol so I have taken them off but I am apprehensive! First trimester exhaustion is apparently a real thing - I fell asleep sitting up, mid conversation with oh the other night haha! I'm trying to be in bed for 9.30 every night and get 9 hours plus but last night was 10.30 and I was wrecked today! I used to get 6/7 hours and was fine lol! This is such a strange and exciting journey isn't it!! Grin

Moo31 · 30/03/2017 19:09

@Sarah - really admire your patience! No ad symptoms is positive :)
