Freaking out today, took DS to a farm and bottle fed a lamb (didn't actually touch the lamb just the bottle) didn't realise lambs were an issue in pregnancy. They weren't newborn, they were 9 weeks old. Washed and sanitised hands after but massively panicking. Sounds a bit silly when I write it down and I've spoke to DP and my mum & stepdad about it (he was raised on a farm) and they think I may be slightly overreacting... doesn't sound like me at all 😂

@MissMagpie i'm all for POAS FRER but i know you don't normally so i'd say wait and see how you feel. personally i'd love to just realise AF was late and be "oh look surprise" on a pissy stick bit i know that'll never happen cos id piss on pretty much anything towards due date if there was a chance it'd be positive (avoiding live wires of course)

ohb didn't even realise lambs caused an issue! I am sure you will be ok though . Did you have a good time at the farm?

@ohb I went and helped with lambing three years ago before I'd even tested positive for pregnancy and it was fine. As long as you wash properly there's no worries. It's their feet/hooves you need to worry about. Xx

I'm sure you will be fine ohb - you haven't been too close and have washed your hands so you should be fine. I think those signs are there more to cover their backs at the farm - most people won't get close enough really.

ohb - when I had my appt with the midwife last week she said if I was going to any farms etc to make sure I washed my hands thoroughly afterwards so you should be fine :)

I'm gonna keep opk' ing moo and hippychic. I didn't start opk til cycle 7 and I definitely feel better doing them than not.

Washing is in the machine ready for the first load of the year outside. Spring is my absolute favourite time of year!

Well school's been incredibly busy so it has gone quite quickly, coupled with being really ill for three days which helped (but I don't recommend it!). I've spent a lot of time staring at the clue app willing it to move a little quicker!

And BFP due around 28th. Although I ov'd a little later so could be 29th.
