Well my exciting weekend is kicking with off AF checking herself out of Bella's B&B - she's had her fill of biscuits, tea, hot water bottles, fresh linen and painkillers. She's due to leave positive feedback with trip advisor so that I'm rewarded with a BFP 16/04 :)

I'm then heading in to town for LASER EYE SURGERY consultation - the caps lock was on there as I was shouting my excitement. I know its only a consultation but i really really REALLY want it done and DH has finally given in #DearHusband not #DickHead for a change :)

The rest of my weekend will be fairly chilled and alcohol free (promise to myself - not that i drunk that much but by god I suffer badly) xx

Echo 100% what you say hippy - this TTC malarky is a lot of hard work emotionally and physically and one of the major reasons I joined this thread was to inject some PMA into my life and even on my worst days, I couldn't help but log on and see the lovely ladies posting with funny stories/positive advice and my bad mood would instantly lift. It made such a difference to a lot of the other TTC posts that focus on it 'never happening' - defo not an attitude to keep on board.
Good things come to those who think good thoughts

And as a couple of the ladies have mentioned, as much of a bloody witch AF is, it's also a very good signal that our bodies are functioning well. It's only a matter of time before Peg & Dor meet for a cuppie and bond for eternity!!

moo you must be so excited for your scan tomorrow! You'll have to let us all know how you get on. I'm also telling both the mothers on mothers day. Risky without the scan and only being 7weeks (based on LMP) but figured I'd need their support IF the worst was to happen anyway.

Also, I need to inject some PMA into some of the scary antenatal threads! I've had a look on a few and with all the symptoms/lack of symtoms/scary stories, it's a wonder any pregnant woman remains sane!!!

@Moo31 and @Dollydaydream2829 so exciting that your making announcements and having scans! It's so lovely spreading that joy, a thing you don't really consider when having a baby is how much happiness they bring to others too. DD is the first grandchild on dhs side and utter delight they still have when they see her is adorable! She's the 5th grandchild on my side so a bit less exciting but she has a wonderful relationship with her cousins.

@BellaMoon thanks for hosting our baby get together 😂 I'll bake a cake!! Hope the consultation goes well. 👀

@Moo31 we have a monster washing line we inherited when we moved here. We can get 3 loads on it. A dream!!

Dolly is it a bit like going up to the Seniors from Juniors?! I'd be a bit scared tbh. But go you for injecting some PMA. And best of luck for you telling the Mums on MD! I can guess they'll all be over't moon .

Bella holy shit cakes you are brave with laser eyes! I am too scared to have mine done so I will stick with my milk bottle glasses for now!! My cats are babies but little shits. Scrapping with each other and bringing dead things home for DH to sort out. I hope AF leaves you positive feedback on #TwatAdvisor (hahahah sorry) so that it attracts Dooreens to come and stay in the BellaB&B. Doreen is such fussy madam, she has to have the conditions just right, mardy mare 😂.

I don't know if it's something I have eaten but I am sooo bloated today. I am ravenously hungry (have been all week so blaming the return of cold weather comfort eating, not my greed!), but every time I eat I blow up. Is it a symptom???...

Thanks cakes - this will be my mums first and DHs mums third. So although I'm super excited to tell both, I know my mum will be SO excited! Where about are you in your cycle?

I was VERY bloated in the lead up to my BFP magpie and still am . I usually get bloating before AF is due so I didn't really count it as a symptom but I think it is a normal symptom cos of the increase in progesterone? Which CD are you on??

bella - thank you :) my mum had one of her eyes lasered last week (to correct cataract surgery gone wrong ...) - she said it was totally fine, she had to put drops in for 5 days afterwards but she said it wasn't painful at all and she can now see! #lettherebelight #bellasgettinghereyesdone #seeyaaf #justonedrink #goongoongoon #youwillyouwillyouwill

Dolly - absolutely with you on that one #loveourweepmabubble I am only 7 weeks too but same as you - I want them to know and also want to spread the happiness - first grandchild on both sides. Also it's getting harder to hide it from my wee mummy especially with morning sickness - she makes me dinner on a Wed and I had to force it down last night. Feel queasy thinking about it lol!

Salem - its a private scan so I think its just literally the ultrasound and heartbeat. All being well I will have dating scan end of April :)

Magpie - every symptom is a symptom so yes - fx! :)

Cakes - I am salivating thinking of your washing line! Ours is a line from house to garage and I'm a short arse so I need a stool to put the washing on which makes it more of a chore than it needs to be so I want a shiny spinning line that is adjustable height!!

@dolly how is your sickness this week? Hopefully it has eased?

Dolly I am CD30 and 8dpo. Reckon AF is due on Monday as I ovulated late this month.

I think a Mother's Day announcement sounds wonderful. Hope you have a lovely time. :)

thanks @Moo31 for the positive side to eye surgery. everyone i speak to tells me not to do it but i'm just getting the consultation just now. i've yet to make the final decision. eeeek

@SalemTheTeenageWitch i long to just pop my sun glasses on, rub my eyes (i do this a lot as i have hayfever), go to the loo in the night without having to put my specs on. iv worn them for 20yrs, the odd day i pop contacts in but i'd love to open my eyes and be able to see!

iv heard it can be more expensive depending on how bad your sight is so if the cost is too high i'm going t need to pull my best moves on DH as he's only caved to "checking things out" rather than signing a blank cheque! #bellabustsomemoves

the decision has been made for this cycles approach to TTC - we are POAS IC OPKs and DTD EOD and we'll see how we feel at peak ov time. i wanna get back to rumpy pumpy being full on passionate rather than a necessity! #bringonTTC

Must catch up on the thread but wishing everyone well.

5 weeks today and had my first vom last night. DP farted whilst I was having a wee. Had to jump off the loo with my pants round my Ankles and throw up. Thank god id finished

Spring is coming! I love this line-hanging-of-clothes-stuff going on! April to September are my favorite part of the year, and now it's just about to start. Yayh!

So many posts since last time I was on, I have had a crazy busy week at work (and have tried hard to ignore this TWW, only partly succeeding). Sorry for those of you that had to welcome AF. On to next cycle and spring pregnancies! We'll all have super healthy babies with all the D vitamin going on . I will probably join you, as AF seems to have decided to come my way. Spotting and cramping tonight, on DPO 9, not too thrilled by that. But not really too upset either. What will be will be, and with spring coming I fell quite positive that it actually will be. Soon!

And as far as announcements go, my mum and stepdad know, my lovely lovely grandma, and my 2 best friends. DS knows though I'm sure. He keeps talking about babies and says there's one there. It was him saying that that made me do a test. Tiny little psychic

I'm not sure what's going on here this cycle. I'm on cd 21 and I don't think I've ovulated yet!! 😖 Still haven't had a positive opk but I've had tummy ache most days this week. I'm just gonna go with the flow!!!

Oooh I might try the meditation and changed how my brain is wired.
I was terrified of getting pregnant ever since I started my periods so I'm really going to imagine me with a newborn. Ahhh. I know I've done it once I will do it again. I'm going to have a look at some books which might help my thinking. PMA!!! AF starting to pack up woop woop!!!
