That's also meant to say sorry, auto correct ftw!

MrsP2be · 19/04/2017 11:07

Hiya everyone! I have 3dc and currently ttc#4. Been trying 6 months and nothing, I have a new partner since having my dc. Getting worried, usually I have no trouble getting pregnant, although it's only been 6 months, it is starting to concern myself and Dp...Hmm^ also, this may be a case of TMI but a question I have to ask...when my Dp pulls out after the deed(Grin)^ there seems to be a LOT of sperm still on his penis and we are worried there isn't an awful lot actually going into my, u know!Blush^ What a question to ask but it is really worrying us. Can someone please help, thanks soo much in advance!!^

pocketfullofsunshine · 19/04/2017 12:49

@MrsP2be
Welcome! And that's a good question, I wouldn't have thought that would have made an issue?
TMI warning - When I got pregnant with DS there would be lots that didn't stay 'up there'.. granted I wasn't trying so didn't think anything of it. I've no idea though hunny! Hope you get your BFP soon

MrsP2be · 19/04/2017 13:19

@pocketfullofsunshine HeyGrin!! Thankyou for your reply!! Horrible question, isn't it? Had to ask though as DP is really worried, wayy more than me but wanted to ask. So, u think this is normal then? Blush

bigcakes · 19/04/2017 13:38

I was told by a GP that the 'ones that need to get up there will do just that' and not to worry. If possible I try and lay down for a bit afterwards just to give them a helping hand but its not necessary - it just makes me feel like I'm doing something to help.

Thisyearistheone2017 · 19/04/2017 19:37

Hi everyone, hope you don't mind if I jump on this thread too. I've just joined mumsnet - I'm 31 years old and ttc#1. On month 3 of trying and had bfn today at 13 dpo so feeling fairly disheartened! I'm hoping that reading about everyone else's experiences will keep me relatively sane on this journey!

Aridia · 19/04/2017 20:30

Hi everyone! I'm another newbie...do you mind if I jump on this thread?

I'm 30, TTC #1! DH and I have been married for just over a year, but I've been on Microgynon on and off (mainly on) since I was 16. I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2013 and had surgery to remove it, which included surgery to one ovary. However, I was also diagnosed with adenomyosis last month, which prompted us to start trying as we may have problems.

I'm trying not to be crazy! But it's so hard not to Grin I'm using the Flo app to track my cycle, currently on CD15. I've also done a couple of OPKs recently but they've all been negative so far.

My main worry at the moment is not wanting to turn into a crazy sex fiend demanding that my DH dtd all the time because I might be feeling fertile!!! How do you guys manage this?

Joeybee · 20/04/2017 08:03

@bigcakes I always lay down for 30 minutes afterwards...I don't know if it helps either, but agree i totally feels like I'm doing something to try and make it happen!

Mummy1788 · 20/04/2017 08:49

Hi everyone! Just been catching up and reading through your posts. I'm new too and started a thread of my own but in desperate need of chat and support as feel like I'm going crazy!! So I hope you don't mind if I join.

Trying to conceive no. 2 which even writing it now seems crazy, it's been a difficult decision to make after a traumatic birth, illness and PND with my first (all completely worth it!!)

I came off my pill about 5/6 weeks ago didn't think loads about it as it was a gut feeling decision that it was the right time. Had a withdrawal bleed and now nothing. Feeling so different to how I did when I came off last time;headaches, sore books, nausea. I know it's probs pill withdrawl but desperate to conceive now we've decided to try and can't help but hold out hope. All hpt are bfn.....Confused

Sanchezwasntdirty · 20/04/2017 12:12

@Joeybee @pocketfullofsunshine @MrsP2be Your posts made me giggle...only cos we are the same!!
I lay there 30 mins atleast with a pillow under the bum! (Though have to agree that have also seen the little swimmers stuck on OH at certain times of the month!) xx

@hanna hey lovely! I'm currently 10dpo and a POAS addict hehe.. I've already done 2, I don't know why because I know it will come back negative.
Earliest I can possibly test is in 2 days, although AF not due until 27th "/
Had a few cramps around the big O day but not many for the past couple of days now so FX.

Sending huge amounts of baby dust to all you lovely ladies

Aridia · 21/04/2017 23:57

Thank you for the warm welcome @hanna87 ! I've been reading posts, and I'm finding it so comforting to know that we're all in the same boat. It can feel very lonely when you can't really talk to anyone about this.

So today I did a clearblue digital opk and the flashing smiley face told me my oestrogen had peaked so the big o can be expected in the next 2 days. Having been on the pill for so long, and after having surgery on my ovary I'm so happy to know that things seem to be working!

Wishing us all a lot of baby dust!!!

WantToGoingTo · 22/04/2017 07:38

Just popping over to say hi! Realised I haven't posted in a while.

CD1 of cycle 3 here and af is horrendous! Crossing fingers for this month. Was a bit disappointed as we dtd loads last month!

How is everyone else doing?

InfinityPlus · 25/04/2017 09:31

Hi Ladies,

How are we all doing?

Realised this morning that I'd not posted for a while.

OH is away at the moment and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the faint line on the OPK doesn't get dark until the end of the week when he's back; though as I've had EWCM for at least 3/4 days I'm not holding out much hope.

I'm feeling quite relaxed by it all, though that might be the acupuncture and I keep remembering that it's only month two of trying.

Joeybee · 29/04/2017 04:04

Getting really tired each evening this week...may be an early pregnancy symptom (I'm hoping)...or may be because I had the flu vaccine a few days ago, Hmmm.
I have been having really vivid dreams though this week, which was my earliest pregnancy symptom last time, so I REALLY hope. 6 days before AF is due.

youngmummy3105 · 29/04/2017 21:47
