@Fayemay27 ohh dear..im feeling anxious for u too... theres still some hope that the bfn changes to a bfp till AF arrives..or another test incase things have changed since Sunday? Don't really really know what to say to ease the pressure ur feeling.. keep us posted xx

@RoxyDancer Welcome Smilei was on the pill for a good no of years.. though I had the withdrawal bleed as normal and then AF 27 days later...was not overly disappointed last month with that... although not sure about what happens this month as we've dtd for the entire week around ovulation 😉😛 and @WantToGoingTo has just about convinced me to stock up on frer's to test early 😝..

@Fayemay27 keeping my fingers crossed for you

RoxyDancer · 14/03/2017 13:02

@hanna87 I'm actually not expecting a BFP this month. I'd prefer if AF just showed up now so we could just start trying properly!! When are you due to test? Fingers crossed for you!

user1489492712 · 14/03/2017 13:06

Hey im a newbie here too age 30, on my 7th cycle. Just had af a week ago. Came off the pill in august. Been trying ever since. First baby. my husband is 52.

Fayemay27 · 14/03/2017 18:44

@hanna87 and @InfinityPlus thanks, it's just nice knowing you are all here to speak too. I don't have anyone to talk too about it at home and my DH doesn't understand the frustration.

I'm trying to hold off testing until Thursday (if af is still not here) as I get sad when it's a bfn. I have one FRER left but might buy a cheapy as I don't want to waste the FRER.

Hi @user1489492712 Smile

WantToGoingTo · 14/03/2017 20:07

Trying so hard not to symptom spot but it's hard! Had loads of creamy cm last couple days, exactly like when I was pregnant before. And been having what I can only describe as ovary pain today....

hanna87 · 15/03/2017 13:44

Hi @user1489492712

@RoxyDancer af is due on 23rd.. so could test Friday onwards... like WantingToGo, im symptom spotting-tho I think i might be convincing myself of things that aren't there! Im not sure if all my calculations are right though as ive only had one normal cycle after coming off the pill! The longer i delay testing-the more accurate the result..or si I keep telling myself

No probs @Fayemay27 Smile I find it easier to talk to people in the same boat!

How are you all doing ladies?

I've been to the GP practice this morning. My first visit and treated by a lovely Practice nurse who removed my Mirena coil. OH and I are excited for the future but I'm trying to not to get my hopes up that anything will happen this month - not really working though as buzzing at the possibility ...

Fayemay27 · 16/03/2017 12:18

Hi @InfinityPlus Smile

It's exciting thinking about the possibilities.
Although I get disappointed when af (usually) comes I also feel excitement for what is to come. Wishing you lots of luck!

AF is still not here for me so I'm going to buy a cheapy and do a test either tonight or in the morning. I have no af symptoms yet. I do have heartburn again which is strange and my boobs are still tender....I also woke up yesterday morning with a lot of creamy cm (sorry tmi!) Very frustrating!

InfinityPlus · 16/03/2017 12:20

@Fayemay27 I'm keeping fingers and toes crossed for you.

At least I have an avenue for my excitement/ nervousness with you lovely ladies, saves be boring my friends Grin

hanna87 · 16/03/2017 18:53

Fingers crossed for you Fayemay27 :) its been a really long wait for u!

Getting there myself..could theoretically do an frer tomorrow-but now that the time is edging closer to test-feeling I don't want to..and i keep telling myself its bfn to avoid disappointment.. rather confused as to how im feeling and I don't see any early symptoms either...

Took a FRER with fmu and it's bfn. I could cry.

Thinking I've just skipped a month and should carry on as normal and start using opks again.

Fayemay27 · 17/03/2017 07:11

Fingers crossed for you @hanna87! Let us know if you test.

InfinityPlus · 17/03/2017 13:21

Oh @Fayemay27 I'm so sorry x

hanna87 · 17/03/2017 17:12

Aww @Fayemay27 such a shame-no wonder ur feeling how you are..

Will keep you posted-planning to test on either Mon or Tues.. still no other symptoms, and little to compare to as I've luckily never had pms symptoms before af!

WantToGoingTo · 18/03/2017 08:41

WantToGoingTo · 18/03/2017 08:42

How do u check @WantToGoingTo . I was due AF yesterday and nothing not even spotting ( which I always got without fail 2-3 days then period straight after) but not a bit of blood in sight xx

WantToGoingTo · 18/03/2017 22:46

Put your finger up there and have a feel! Have to do it regularly to notice the changes though as it's all relative

InfinityPlus · 18/03/2017 22:50

Have a big stash of OPK tests and now almost too nervous to pee on them as don't want to become obsessed with finding out when I ovulate and then feel pressured to do the deed and then not be pregnant. Ah head is going into overdrive. And all this coupled with the helpful advice you get from a friend who has two children and so is the "expert". Do I need saving from myself already? Eek Confused

Sazwest · 18/03/2017 23:00

@WantToGoingTo What am I checking for lol xx

Sazwest · 18/03/2017 23:01

And keep us posted @WantToGoingTo when u test aswell. Xx

WantToGoingTo · 19/03/2017 06:35

Ah infinity I feel your pain! Weirdly tho I find that I feel more turned on knowing I am about to ovulate!

saz three things: how high, open/closed, how soft. If you can barely reach it it is high if easy to reach it is low. You can feel if there is an opening or not, when closed it feels like a slit rather than like a polo. And softness is described by hard is like tip of nose, medium is like chin and soft is like pursed lips. When af approaching it will be hard closed and starting to open. Then after af it will close and will start to her higher. When you ovulate it will be high hard and open. When pregnant it moves to high soft and closed.
