Another month, another period. I was due af yesterday but had no sign but today I've had brown tinged cm so she'll be here tomorrow.

Anyone else out for March already? Feel free to join in my misery lol

Well I'm in my fertile week now but there is absolutely no bloody way I'm DTD. Got bronchitis and laryngitis and sinusitis. Can't speak or swallow and I would be surprised if DTD didn't induce some kind of breathing problem. I'm due to ovulate on Monday / Tuesday so FX I can do it once in that time otherwise no Christmas present for me!

I'm poorly too during fertile window. Cold and just exhausted. Earache too. With a poorly toddler and dh is not great either. I get the feeling tonight would be an important night. Just before o! Oh well I guess there's next month! So frustrating.

CD10 today here, and according to Ovia I have another 11 days until my fertile window. I'm quietly hopeful it may come a little sooner than that though as I've had acupuncture today and I'm a little crampy this evening.

CD18 here and after a brief day of ewcm earlier in week all signs of ovulation gone 😟. DTD anyway but sure it's all fruitless. Think I'm going to ovulate late again and have another short luteal phase.
notquite - is this your first attempt at acupuncture would be interested to know what impact it has had? I have a consultation booked next week and will then make some appointments. Keep hearing it can work wonders but also worrying about the cost!

Boatrace I've been having it for a few weeks now for migraine, but she also treats fertility related issues. I have PCOS, so she treats that too.

Last month I had a session designed to get me to ovulate, and then ovulated about 4 days later. I normally have 50+ day cycles but last month was 37. I'm not willing to definitively say it was coincidence but if it happens again this month then I'll be way more confident. My migraines are WAY better though.

Boat race I have acupuncture which has totally sorted my cycle out. After my mum passing away my cycles were 24 days long and they got me back to a normal 27/28 day cycle with a normal 4/5 day bleed. I started again weekly after my misscarriage and had a textbook period a week after my normal af date. I feel like my hormones are sorting themselves out as well. I totally feel it's the acupuncture. There is potential to get some through the NHS but it depends what your doctors can offer. It's worth mentioning at your doctors. I would also recommend seeing someone who is an actual Chinese doctor rather than someone trained over here.

Jumping aboard. I've started spotting so AF is on her way. I'm pretty gutted. Really thought we had a good shot this month.

I'm trying to tell myself that I've already got 2 children therefore there is no reason that it won't happen again but it's not making me feel much better this evening.

Mother in law is also here so I've had to come to bed early, not in the mood for convesation.

Going to have a cry then look forward to next month.

Thanks beardy and notquite. I am booked for a consultation with a lady highly recommended for fertility issues. Think she is affiliated to zita west. DH is very unconvinced.
notquite is your treatment ongoing? Or are you hoping it will still have an effect this month. Glad it's sorted your migraines though. My friend had it for sinus issues and said it sorted them too!

So I definitely ovulated over the weekend. Could have done with DTD maybe one extra day at the start/end of the week, but I think we have an excellent chance as it is. Officially in the TWW now (going to test a week on Saturday). I made myself crazy about this last cycle, so trying to keep busy/distracted this time.

A/f due 6/4. ( although very irregular cycles)

Just starting to get a bit fed up of all this ttc and feel as though it is really getting me down. Conceived dd in the first cycle of trying so this is all new to me. Trying to convince myself it's because I have been ill so often (multiple episodes of tonsillitis) and have just had a tonsillectomy so now have no reason not to conceive. Have now stocked up on opk and brought some conceive plus. Also put oh on selenium. Fingers crossed this is our month and good luck to all of you.

Really interesting about the accupuncture. If anyone has any London reccomendations let me know?

My cycles are super irregular, I am currently CD 18 and no sign of ovulation yet. Need to get it sorted asap!!

Allthecheese have a look under this for a local Chinese medicine practitioner www.atcm.co.uk/find-a-practitioner. Definetly give it a go. It's changed everything for me and I also feel like my dr listens and gives me a proper check up every time I go. It's like we are doing it together. Always helpful getting someone who specialises in fertility. Good luck.

On CD 6, AF finished today. I've not really got a great grip on when I ovulate but I have some OPK's in stock, ready to used starting the day after tomorrow!

I've just been to my GP who was lovely, said to stop taking such a textbook approach to DTD, ditch the apps and fertile weeks and just go for 3 times a week every week, says she sees lots of women inadvertently practice safe sex by only focussing on a week a month!

AF showed up today Sad so onto the next cycle, but on the plus side I have wine!

carlotta. Interestingly we've always had to take that approach due to my irregularity. We never dtd much in the first few days after AF as I figure it can't happen then. But from CD8 or so we aim for once every 2-3days. It worked with DD (eventually). I never used apps or anything last time but this time I wanted to know what was going on - but still dtd regularly... too regularly. I've got the doctor on weds so will see what she has to say...
