MrsC I wouldn't worry that sounds normal given the increased wee-ing! So bloody happy for you!

Thanks confused and penguin it's been a rollercoaster month but as you say I'm not out till AF shows.

On another topic I spent way too long choosing my outfit this morning, we have parents eve at DD school and I always feel a bit self conscious being like 15 years younger than the other parents! I wanted to wear these amazing black suede ankle boots that I got recently but couldn't face the walking to meetings at work today (they have quite a high heel). I need to break them in!

Mummyme87 · 02/03/2017 08:53

I'm CD8 today and feeling anything but fertile. Just not feeling it this month. I was going to start OPKing this month and can't be bothered.. I feel I've peaked too soon! Might be a sign to step down on symptom spotting, cervix checking etc. I'll do OPKs and lube but ovia can do one

Mummyme87 · 02/03/2017 08:54

Congrats glitter on your BFP!! Def a positive 😀 Lucky thread.
Sorry for the BFN grumpy I know how horrible this is for you

HbH04 · 02/03/2017 09:05

CD7 mummy totally cycle buddies! Im not gonna OPK... just DTD for first cycle or two

xlaura · 02/03/2017 09:12

Buzz my oh got me a dirt devil one from Argos for £25 and it's great. It's a handheld one too so super bargain! It's still on the market but no viewings or anything so we're keeping it on til September time and then withdrawing it. But I now want to renew the corner sink in the downstairs toilet and renew the sink and toilets upstairs in ensuite and bathroom to smaller vanity units. I can't stand seeing the pipework!!

HBH I've given up asking oh to do it and the window frame edges are awful and it's driving me mad. I've kinda got abit laxed with everything because I thought we'd be moving but now I think we're staying put for a couple more years I'd like to get bits done why I'm not pregnant and got time and money to be spending on it really. What a fun weekend for me! 🙄

All you mummies to be can we get a little update on how the bumps are growing? Be nice to see the special little bundle growing away after you've worked so hard for them after all x

Redpony1 · 02/03/2017 09:25

Congratulations MrsC & Glitters!! SO EXCITING!!!

Tigger83 · 02/03/2017 09:31

Xlaura hello! It feels really weird and a bit in limbo, you get the positive result then you panic about every symptom then think you've imagined that you're pregnant! Got my first scan next Friday so think it'll all feel a bit more real then. I've been feeling very very sick, bloated and exhausted last week lots of cramps and sore back. I get moments of complete excitement and waves of happiness along with the nausea lol. My oh is being lovely very patient and sweet and starting to get excited. I'm trying to not get too excited just in case but it's hard not to when you're sat there of an evening thinking about my little one growing inside me. I do think that I could possibly be carrying twins, my mums a twin and I guess I just have a bit of a feeling so watch this space!

Mummyme87 · 02/03/2017 09:39

HB cycle buddy! I have been doing OPK for last 4months and find them helpful at pin pointing although clearly not working!!! Was meant to start poas yesterday but didn't. Have brought my CB OPK with me to work today so will do it later

AllTheGlitters · 02/03/2017 09:41

DP is thrilled, I showed him all the comments Grin and he agrees that the pic we posted is a pretty accurate representation of our test. Just a bit worried about the faintness, but I do have this funny feeling I ovulated on the 19th, which would only put me at 11 DPO today Confused

I just really hope it is real and sticky. Have sent DH out to get another brand of test!!

AllTheGlitters · 02/03/2017 09:58

Sorry forgot to say thanks for all the congratulations [flower] I just hope it is what we all think it is! Will deffo report back this evening/tomorrow morning :)

Don't worry Grumpy, even if you do get AF soon I had a cycle like yours last cycle, it is so sad but it really won't be long, I like your philosophical approach you mentioned earlier :)

Good luck to laura and Jupiter and mummy with your fertile weeks!! Star

So upset with my stupid body. CD 22 and af is here... Wtf?! This cycle has been 7 days of bleeding, 2 days nothing, 4 more days of bleeding, a positive opk then 9 days and now af...I've been 7 and a half months off the pill now and still completely fucked cycle wise! So fed up 😪

Redpony1 · 02/03/2017 10:50

Oh seven that's rubbish Sad Do you think a chat to the Dr might help? Mine does call backs for things not needing an appointment, they might decide to run some bloods to check hormones?

Parsnips thats a lovely vid!!

MrsC2017 · 02/03/2017 11:02

Oh seven that is so frustrating, I would ring the gp and get them to take a look at things for you, it won't do any harm anyway. It's very frustrating I'm sure, big love to you Flowers

mummyme I felt exactly the same at the start of this cycle and although I did OPK in the end I feel much more relaxed about the whole thing by taking a step back. I've been avoiding Ovia as well as otherwise the whole thing dominates your day. Hope you're okay.

seven I reckon a chat with the GP can't hurt. I'm sure nothing long term to worry about but for reassurance. Has your AF come on full flow? Or just spotting?

confused will see what DH thinks to a final DTD tonight. Won't push him but think it might help. Bring on the 2ww!

parnsips what a lovely story!

glitters hope you're having a very happy and excited day! Grin

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 02/03/2017 11:15

Oh seven sorry love! How annoying! Agree with the others- maybe ring the doc and see if they can offer some reassurance.

MrsC I don't think there is anything to worry about, your urine will have just been a bit more dilute. How are you feeling today? All your symptoms sound very on track!

MrsC2017 · 02/03/2017 11:24

Thanks jupiter, I feel ok really, I just feel like a may possibly be getting a uti (I have a bad history of them) so trying to drink lots of water and hopefully keep it at bay, could explain the constant night time loo visits last night too! Will see how I go for the day anyway and will ring gp if I think it's getting worse!

MrsC2017 · 02/03/2017 11:26

Also I'm starving, constantly, absolutely ravenous, I'd love a steak and chips!

AllTheGlitters · 02/03/2017 11:31

So sorry to hear that Seven :( I agree have a chat with your GP and see if they can get you referred, that must be very frustrating.

Dammit Parsnips that video made me weep!

MrsC don't worry about your tests, with my DD I scared myself that the one I did after the first one was lighter, but your levels will vary throughout the day :)

Just a little update as well, while DP was getting ready to go get more tests, I decided to do the last of the Boots strips. Brought it out straight away to show him how disappointed I was that they don't seem to be getting darker. As he was consoling me saying he'd get a better test and it had only been one day, it turned proper dark pink in front of us!! We're definitely pregnant!!!!!! Halo Star

may2017ttc · 02/03/2017 11:37

Hey! I'm new here. I'll be TTC in May with a donor (I'm LGBT and will be a single parent by choice). Aged 19. First time ever TTC. Plan to lose a little weight before May and currently getting used to my cycle.

Penguin27 · 02/03/2017 11:59

Tigger, twins would be amazing!! I've always said I want twins... I really hope you are having twins so I can live my fantasy through you Wink

Seven sorry about your cycle, it does sound very frustrating. Like others have suggested, I think you should speak to your GP just to make sure everything is ok and get some reassurance.

Glitter, more congrats for your stronger bpf today. Hopefully that will put your mind at rest and now you can celebrate properly!!

Welcome May!

MrsC2017 · 02/03/2017 12:21

Oh tigger I missed that about the twins!! That would be so exciting this group is missing twins I think! My dp is obsessed with twins, tbh I find enough work in one but once they get older it would be great! Hi may and welcome!

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 02/03/2017 12:32

Twins would be amazing Tigger! My DH is a twin and they run in his family and my dad had twin sisters (although one was miscarried) so it's a possibility for us too. I'm not sure how I would feel about two babies!!!

Weird comment but I am so super aware of my nipples the last few days. They're really tingly. Same with boobs. Not sore as such but I'm just really aware of them. Very odd. Going to test on sat but I have enough tests to get me through to next Fri when AF is due.

I've ordered a "Hello Daddy" babygrow for DH and it's not arrived and I want to use that to break the news so if I do get a BFP I'm not telling him til the babygrow is here! He'll never know the difference. He thought you couldn't take a preg test for three months!!!
