Thanks glitters let me know how you get on! Feeling sick and dizzy again over here..

confusedat23 · 28/02/2017 16:09

Well Grumpy going by last cycle you deffo ov'd by CD22 but don't get too stressed as i had regular cycles and still didn't ov until CD19 last cycle so it can be a bit delayed but i wouldn't be getting upset if i was you until CD36 going off last cycle... also egg can implant as late as 12dpo and take 72 hours to double and without a sensitive test it means if it was that late really you are not seeing anything till 15dpo earliest!!... plus everything about not getting a +ve with DD until a week after AF due means you are no where near out! You should always be prepared for the worst but keep positive!!!

Glitters me and DH are very into Nordic culture and history which is why we have picked that name... for a boys middle name we like Bjorn also... but if its a girl we will spell Freyja traditionally as opposed to Freya which is also nice but not as meaningful to us =)

Tigger83 · 28/02/2017 16:12

Oh grumpy try not to give up hope!

Wow ladies the nausea has ramped up today along with dizziness!! Feeling completely wiped out and Bil is staying tonight so have to pretend I'm a ok! I'm kind of pleased as I've heard that it's the sign of a strong pregnancy (?!) but that might be bs. I'm supposed to be revising for an exam but just can't concentrate Confused

Penguin27 · 28/02/2017 17:48

Tigger, your post reminded me of the line in Harry Potter, where Ron's reading tea leaves (I think) and he says "so you're going to suffer, but be happy about it Hmm" haha!! Glad that you're happy, hopefully your symptoms don't get any worse!

I'm getting very tempted to do my second FRER tomorrow morning, even though I said I'd wait until Friday. Today is CD28, unsure when (if) O happened and don't have a reference for how long my cycle usually is... What do you ladies think?

HeyJupiter · 28/02/2017 17:51

Grumpy and glitters thinking of you both, so difficult. Really hope you are put out of your misery one way or other this week! Testing early is so difficult but it’s impossible not to - I’m the same. Grumpy, really hope tomorrow gives more clarity. You certainly DTD enough this month to cover most bases :) Are you testing again soon glitters?

MrsC how are you doing today?

confused the lack of pain doesn’t have to be a bad sign, maybe the fluid around your ovary is naturally decreasing? Hope you’re okay, all this worry must be exhausting. Thank you so much for sending the parcel yesterday, can't wait to get my lube haha.

Red yes, think you need to keep ploughing on with the OPKs if you can. You may well ovulate this week, your body is still getting back to normal post-pill. The constant POAS-ing is hard work though. I have to sneak some OPKs to work tomorrow and try and do it in the staff toilets. Ugh.

Tigger sorry you feel crappy but it is reassuring. My sister had dreadful morning sickness this pregnancy but was told that this is a really good sign and correlates strongly with successful pregnancies so that might add a silver lining to feeling yucky.

All fine here, had peak CB this time last month, but not today, so assume will be ovulating a bit later this month. Will hope for my peak tomorrow at work. Happily DTD-ing eod still which feels much less stressful.

Seven0fNine · 28/02/2017 18:05

Penguin I say save it and get some ic if you don't know how long your cycle is but that's just speaking from my disappointment first cycle experience!

Was supposed to be working late tonight but felt awful, achy and tired so came home early. On the couch with DH being cute saying "I got excited cos I thought you coming home sick was code for you're pregnant"

Not that I'm symptom spotting ha but wishing!

Freya is a lovely name! But already taken in our family! wiggley do you get put off names by the kids you teach?

AllTheGlitters · 28/02/2017 18:08

Jupiter thank you, and good luck cracking on with DTD Grin I think I'm going to test tomorrow but am feeling a lot more relaxed. I just offered to return to full time hours at work so maybe it would be nice to have a couple of months before getting pregnant to adjust - don't think we'll delay trying til after April though! I had awful morning sickness so feel a bit bad about work, but I work hard and will be there many years so hopefully they will forgive me for taking 2 out of 3 years mat leave Confused

Grumpy confused is right, until AF is here anything could have happened :) I have a funny feeling I ovulated later this month, around CD19, but I have no evidence for that. Will still test tomorrow if AF isn't here, are you testing tomorrow?

TheGrumpySquirrel · 28/02/2017 18:13

Penguin I know I'm a hypocrite but I'd save the FRER and wait to test (I've wasted so much money!!!!)

CD30 tomorrow and yes intending to test but I do have ICs (I think - if they got delivered) as well as 2 FRER & a CB digital for later! Backache today and bit carsick feeling again, massively massively bloated (have had to undo my zip more than once!). Sincerely hope this is not normal!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 28/02/2017 18:36

Just got home. The FRER and CB arrived but no IC yet! They should arrive tomorrow Hmm

HeyJupiter · 28/02/2017 18:42

How annoying Grumpy, will you use the FRER tomorrow instead?

glitters I have moments of worry like that about work but think I've earned some time away for mat leave/any pregnancy related sickness after dedicating myself to them for the last 8 years!!

AllTheGlitters · 28/02/2017 18:52

Forgot to say confused Freyja is a beautiful name, me and my DH love all things nordic/Scandinavian too, we are planning a baby moon to go see the Northern Lights if we can go at a good time :)

TheGrumpySquirrel · 28/02/2017 18:53

No I'll wait. Feeling very very wasteful having spent this much on HPTs!

AllTheGlitters · 28/02/2017 18:53

And yes Jupiter that's what I thought! And to be fair, as DP says, they are the big bad government and I'm a human being not a commodity, so there Grin

HeyJupiter · 28/02/2017 19:50

Good point, well made by your DP! My DH said something similar to me last week Grin

MrsC2017 · 28/02/2017 19:50

Hi ladies, been very busy today back to work and it's pancake day so have been making pancakes all evening! Lots to catch up on today...
jupiter I hope u get your peak very soon, it's the best time of the month I think, always feels proactive!
penguin a fellow Harry Potter fan I seen!! Sorry you're feeling anxious, it's definitely am emotional and mentally draining time, the girls on here are so supportive so stick with us and we'll get through it all together! Also faye is my number 1 girls name!
grumpy I really feel for u lovely, you have done absolutely everything right so unfortunately down to Mother nature who plays by her own rules and likes to confuse and upset us all! Hang in there petal Flowers
glitters hang in there too lovely, not out yet! Best of luck!
dancing sorry the pushed your appointment forward but a good side is that babs will be bigger and there will be more to see at a week later!
red I hope your cycle is shorter, more than likely it will be and keep going on opks, hopefully you'll get there soon!
parsnips love the labels and had a good giggle at "swallow her teeth" Grin
tigger hope the nausea passes soon and try ginger biccy and the sea bands for travel sickness help too apparently although could be an urban myth! Worth a try tho eh!
buzz eek teddy is such a cute boys name
confused also love your names and sorry u are feeling a bit not yourself, I guess it's par for the course especially after having a stressful week or two, be kind to yourself
mummy very jel about NYC, that's where we got engaged so i have the best memories! You'll have so much fun and great to have a focus and distraction when ttc!
seven you are still our list queen spreadsheet or no spreadsheet! Thanks girl!

I'm feeling very symptomless again, I also have a 'I just know I'm not' feeling today! Which I guess I'm ok with! Won't be long til Friday anyway and I'll know for sure I actually don't mind not testing early this cycle, Friday will be 2days before AF and 12dpo so should most likely have a definitive answer one way or the other then and who knows AF could show up before then!

DancingUnicorn · 28/02/2017 19:57

Thanks MrsC! I also had a very strong 'I just know I'm not' feeling... which probably doesn't help you! ;)

HeyJupiter · 28/02/2017 21:11

Oh MrsC you sound very sorted this cycle. Will have everything crossed for you this Friday :)

HeyJupiter · 28/02/2017 21:18

By the way guys is it okay that I've barely had any ewcm this month? Had loads last month for nearly a week before ovulation, but this time round very little at all.. am definitely nearing ovulation within normal time frame (CD12-14 normally) and have other symptoms (twinges, OPKs getting darker) but so little ewcm. In fact mainly just watery cm. Hope not a major issue!

MrsC2017 · 28/02/2017 21:23

I had very little thus cycle either jupiter, not sure what it's all about as had more last cycle, swings and roundabouts I guess, I have preseed for back up!

HeyJupiter · 28/02/2017 21:27

Weird isn't it.. well I had loads last month and didn't get pregnant so maybe it's a good omen this month for us both!

Penguin27 · 28/02/2017 21:30

MrsC I have a similar feeling, but still going to test tomorrow anyway! I went to tesco to buy emergency cheapie tests... But they only had FRERs so I just bought more of them haha!!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 28/02/2017 21:51

Well I'm testing with a FRER in the morning too Penguin as I forgot about this work dinner! Will definitely be wine involved

Wiggleyfingers · 28/02/2017 21:52

Ahhh long day day! Haven't checked in all day!
Buzz some of my "made up" names include:
Boys
Rafferty
Elias
Esra
Arlo

Girls
Amelie,
Aria,
Coralie,
Ellody

Seven I definitely get put off some names, I think that's why I'm not so keen on really popular names because it always reminds me of a child. Although sometimes it works the other way and I end up loving names of children that I've really bonded with. ❤️

AF just about leaving here, it only really lasts 2 days before petering out, do you think that matters?! I really hope I don't have a thin uterus lining!

DancingUnicorn · 28/02/2017 21:54

Haha!! Buzz love some of those 'made up' names!!

DancingUnicorn · 28/02/2017 21:55

Sorry, it's late! Wiggley! Love the names.
