parnsips they are amazing!! What a brilliant idea.

penguin no probs, will see what I can find when I'm back in the office tomorrow.

confusedat23 · 28/02/2017 09:35

Me and DH have already agreed on both a boy abd girls name
Girl - Freyja
Boy - Noah

Also Penguin you can be assigned to a mental health midwife if you suffer from anxiety who will be able to help you... also there are threads in the pregnancy section on here about Prenatal Depression and support etc

confusedat23 · 28/02/2017 09:37

Parsnips those labels are cute... it will be nice if you manage to pull a surprise off but it will be hard work! Lol

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 28/02/2017 09:40

Lovely names confused.

Yes we only plan on using them for parents and my aunt and uncle as want to tell them in person. Me hopping on a flight to go see them will probably give the game away but think they'll like the gesture.

My brother had a baby with his GF about 18 months ago and he just acted really weird about it all and didn't really involve anyone so I feel like they missed out on a bit of excitement really. My mum will love this!

Manic day and eve yesterday!

Great news on the scan confused!!

Parsnips those labels are a good idea! I'm just going to text my parents, give them time to stew over it hahaha!

HeyJupiter · 28/02/2017 09:53

confused such gorgeous names! For some reason have just assumed you're having a girl :)

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 28/02/2017 10:01

Yeah I can see confused having a girl too!

buzzmoon · 28/02/2017 10:15

parsnips love the labels!!

Yeah I see confused with a girl too :) are you going to find out?

Penguin27 · 28/02/2017 10:18

They are beautiful names Confused! I also think you'll be having a girl Smile Thanks for the tip about the option to have a mental health midwife, I didn't know that was a possibility!

confusedat23 · 28/02/2017 10:57

Its funny because me and SIL think bubble is a girl (i also only have sisters) but my mum and DH think its going to be a boy (i think wishful thinking on DH part)

I am most deffo going to find out though as i cannot stand surprises... i think we are going to try and do a gender reveal as have missed out on the big pregnancy annoucement bit lol

Penguin i only know about it from reading threads in the pregnancy section =)

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 28/02/2017 11:07

You should definitely go for the gender reveal confused since things have been so crazy for you. It'll be a good way to share happy news. Some brilliant ideas on Pinterest for that! I think my MIL would swallow her teeth if we did that. His family are all very low key. Mine are the opposite - any excuse for a party 🎉

So exciting for you confused!
I'd never heard of gender reveal things until i joined MN

I am CD20 with no a whiff of a positive OPK. BUT it did dawn on my that my cycle could still be 40+ days. Lets face it, my last one was 60+ days post pill so i'm unlikely to slot in to a nice 28/30 day cycle straight away am i?? I just read on another post someone with a 35day cycle got a positive opk on CD20... I am hopeful!!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 28/02/2017 12:56

Feeling really fed up today. Total limbo, probably not pregnant maybe not even ovulating and just wasted 2 weeks getting excited. I think if those lines were real squinters and not evaps they should have gotten darker over the weekend, so I am fully expecting another BFN in the morning. Really bored and can't concentrate on work. I want a holiday! And wine.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 28/02/2017 12:59

Oh and I haven't weighed myself in 2 weeks because I've been eating loads of chocolate and pizza and I'm huge Sad

TheGrumpySquirrel · 28/02/2017 13:02

I feel like crying

DancingUnicorn · 28/02/2017 13:05

Grumpy crying can be cathartic... but we are all here and think you're wonderful. I'd have cracked by now and had wine! You're going through so much!! Be kind to yourself!

Managed to rearrange my appointment, but now a week later! Not until 26th March, and I'll be 11+2! :( Plus I feel weird today, not really cramps, but sort of like cramps. And knicker checking again. Just feel suddenly different. :s

HeyJupiter · 28/02/2017 13:06

Oh grumpy, it's so understandable you're feeling so crappy after the last few weeks. Its such a bloody rollercoaster and so unfair to feel hope and then feel like it's taken away again Flowers At least you should have some kind of answer by the end of the week and then if you aren't pregnant you can move onto the next cycle (with a mahooosive glass of wine in your hand). You can start the healthy eating at the same time regardless of the outcome x

HeyJupiter · 28/02/2017 13:08

Dancing am sure it's really normal to feel different things all the time. The cramping is really common in pregnancy too. Don't worry, it's so easy to symptom spot things that you wouldn't normally notice. The cramping could just be your digestive system!

Penguin27 · 28/02/2017 13:31

Oh grumpy, sorry to hear that the emotional roller coaster is getting to you Flowers have a good cry to DH when you get home, it might help!

[Dancing], try not to worry, you're probably just hypersensitive to your body at the moment... It's probably completely normal x

TheGrumpySquirrel · 28/02/2017 14:29

Thanks ladies I'm just really fed up of waiting. Not even sure I'm back to regular cycles post pill so it's very much an unknown unknown IYSWIM. Argh! Definitely massive special treat for me if AF shows. I thought I was ok yesterday but just feel so weepy about it all today!

confusedat23 · 28/02/2017 14:33

Red I think you will just need to keep pushing on through with the OPKs although even the cheap ones start to add up! Do you know when you ov'd last cycle?

oh Grumpy you need to stay positive for your little egg that may be trying to implant!! how many dpo are you if you work from the last possible day of ov?

oh Dancing that is annoying but I can imagine the one you got was probably the earliest one they had! I understand what you mean today I am feeling very unpregnant and not a lot of pain etc since this morning and now I am joining knickerwatch too! although I have heard of people symptoms going away as early as 8 weeks because the Placenta is starting to take over.. my own lack of symptoms however are unexplainable!

I just feel really really grumpy today... I am exhausted from being up all night continuously for the last 1.5 weeks ... I feel like DH is being distant because we were a bit snappy last night and the weather is just utterly crap!!! In my head I just wish I was 12 weeks already so there is a smaller amout of worry in my brain for my poppyseed sized embryo

TheGrumpySquirrel · 28/02/2017 14:44

This is the issue., I don't actually know when or if I ovulated. I had EWCM and a wet open cervix on CD13. I had terrible AF like backache on CD15 so marked that as ovulation. My OPKs were as dark as they ever got on CD15-17 but not positive. Then I stopped doing them. I figured that maybe I don't make enough LH to make those OPK show a darker line than the control - they aren't the most sensitive OPKs you can get. Now I'm CD29 so 14dpo if my guess is right. But it could be as little as 9dpo if I ovulated very late due to body being weird post pill? We DTD on CD 4,8,10,11,14,15,17,19 (and 26&27!)

Thanks for all your support. Sorry to hear you are feeling tired and grumpy confused!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 28/02/2017 14:45

The fact I've had squinters since Friday makes me think they are evap lines

AllTheGlitters · 28/02/2017 15:12

Poor you Grumpy :( Flowers

I know just how hard of it, we have been NTNP for a couple of months but only came off the pill in the end of September. In my December cycle we were absolutely convinced I was, got 2 squinters on the cheap Wondfo tests and my peiord was 10 days late :( It turned out to not be a pregnancy at all, and the devastation of getting our hopes up like that is what caused DP to really jump on the band wagon of TTC.

I'm also sort of in the same boat as you now, AF is due today but no sign yet, really trying not to get hopes up as I've only had glaring BFNs :/. It is truly a time of emotional turmoil, all we can try and do is relax and know that we will get there :) Wine Cake

AllTheGlitters · 28/02/2017 15:15

And confused those are lovely names!! I love Freya, it was very nearly my DD's name but we went with Faye Robin instead :)
