I've always thought I'd want to wait till 12 weeks, but with what everyone's been going through I think I'd have to tell some close family! Like you say makes not drinking easier!

Dibs on the cbfm grumpy if you get your bfp! Wink

buzzmoon · 26/02/2017 20:12

Sorry, *WHEN!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 26/02/2017 20:14

Lol buzz fx it's yours by Wednesday!

MrsC2017 · 26/02/2017 20:57

Aw confused, I hope beyond hope that everything will be perfect! I'm sure it will!

HeyJupiter · 26/02/2017 21:14

Ohh confused I would love your lube! (I've never said that to anyone ever before haha!!) Thank you so much. You will definitely take some credit this month if I get pregnant. Sending so much good luck for you both tomorrow. We will all anxiously be checking the thread so let us know when you can :)

HeyJupiter · 26/02/2017 21:15

Oh and confused I'm a nurse specialist in mental health but did an extra course so I get to prescribe drugs too - whoop. Terrifying but interesting.

HeyJupiter · 26/02/2017 21:18

The Ovia chat is hysterical! Why are they all called things like 'crimson catterpiller' and 'magenta magpie'? Do we all have a colourful animal name that we don't know about? Ovia is bonkers.. oh and you're right she bloody loves bloating as a symptom.

xlaura · 26/02/2017 22:14

Congrats grumpy on your squinty squinty lines. I can't wait to see another bfp post coming from you soon then..got my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼

Ive downloaded that Ovia pregnancy and fertility and keep getting emails saying I'm 2 weeks pregnant but I haven't even opened the app 😂 I think something spooky is going on.

Mum keeps dropping really obvious hints too that she wants me and oh to her baby making soon... I'm getting sent names and prams all day long whilst I'm at work. Talk about off putting haha.

Can't wait to actually properly TTC and get my bfp..I'd love to join the wagon soon with all you lovely ladies x

confusedat23 · 26/02/2017 22:21

Dancing did u find it upsetting when people asked you and you were denying it!... at the family party when people were questioning us i was saying no not pregnant and not trying just seeing how it goes at the moment etc etc... it felt like i was betraying bubble!... also on a different note when is your booking in appt?

I think tbh Buzz you can tell the people that are going to work out if something goes wrong... the people i work with clocked what was going on as soon as i was off for 3 days as i am never off work sick (we get no pay)... however there are people that tell everyone my ex-SIL (i was not married but easier to explain) decided to announce on my 21st Birthday that she was 5 weeks pregnant and unfortunately lost the baby at 10 weeks (mmc as baby stopes growing at 6 weeks) and she suddenly had loads of people to explain it to but luckily my ex-MIL told most people for her

Hahaha Jupiter its all packed up and ready for you hun!... wow your job must be really demanding but so rewarding at the same time!... will your job need to be altered when you get pregnant? I have my risk assessment for my reduced duties on Tuesday which i'm not looking forward to

Oh and about the Ovia animal thing your name actually changes too so you are not always the same animal!!

MrsC2017 · 26/02/2017 22:28

So tempted to post and see what animal I get Grin

buzzmoon · 26/02/2017 22:50

jupiter that sounds like a tough job, I certainly couldn't do it but bet it's rewarding! :)

confused how are you feeling about tomorrow? I'm excited for you especially if you get to see bubble! ❤️

Seven0fNine · 26/02/2017 23:15

Ahhh Jupiter that makes sense you could ask someone about my DH and his anti-d's the other week!
Bloody Ovia, I'm ignoring her until AF is due! Except for putting in my gas symptom every afternoon ha!

Dreading work in the morning...this half term is soooooooo busy, working late most nights and on Saturdays for the next 3 too. Thank God it's only 5 weeks long!

buzzmoon · 26/02/2017 23:21

Are you a teacher seven? That sucks having to work weekends!!

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 27/02/2017 05:20

Hope all goes well for the scan today confused - hope you get to see little bubble! Let us all know how you get on!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 27/02/2017 06:27

Seven I feel you, got the major Monday blues this morning, big week with clients this week including a dinner Wednesday night. And I can't POAS until at least Tuesday night (when my tests arrive) so will have to concentrate hard on work today and tomorrow. Hope everyone has a good day!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 27/02/2017 06:28

Oh yes please let us know how it goes confused fx all is A-ok with bubble x

Mummyme87 · 27/02/2017 07:12

Morning ladies
CD5 here, AF more or less done! Creeping up to my FW fast! I've started on zinc and vit c this cycle, and will be still taking folic acid, vit d and vit b complex, whilst doing IC OPK and CB OPK, and I'm debating using the lube you talk of

Mummyme87 · 27/02/2017 07:22

confused good luck for the scan today! Let us know how it goes

grumpy how are you feeling? When are you going to test again and when is AF due?

When I was pregnant with DS I told a couple of very close friends straight away, then my parents & sister and OH parents & sister at about 7weeks when I had had a scan, then announced it to everyone at 12+weeks after Nuchal scan. I wouldn't want to keep it from everyone so early as if I miscarried I would want certain people to know.
Talking of risk assessment at work when pregnant... I was in community last time, so lugging a heavy rucksack around to women's houses, climbing up and down 3 flights of stairs when women refused to come down when I visited, but luckily my colleagues were good and kept visits to a minimum for me and I did a lot of clinics instead. This time I'm dreading running up and down labour ward if I'm as big as I was last time (DS was 10lb 5oz so I was like a house end).. risk assessment will include 'don't push or pull beds' 🙄

TheGrumpySquirrel · 27/02/2017 07:38

Mummy today is CD28 so AF due tomorrow technically although Ovia says Thursday. Ordered some more tests from amazon as I'm spending far too much in Boots! They should arrive tomorrow so I'll test Wednesday morning. Feeling ok this morning but a quite like carsick type feeling comes and goes. Backache not as bad this morning. DH wanted to DTD last night and we did which was nice, but since starting TTC I feel like what's the point outside of FW lol! And I'm normally the one bugging him for it! And it interferes with checking my CM

I want to wait till 20 weeks to tell work but not sure I will be able to hide it that long. Will tell family around 10-12 weeks, don't want them fussing! My mum is a terrible gossip unfortunately!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 27/02/2017 07:46

Watched an episode of OBEM series 2 last night with my DD, one lady was a real screamer! I couldn't tear my eyes away though! DH was in the other room and came through asking wth was that noise! I can't believe the women labour on their backs for so long surely that can't be helpful to progress it mummy? I did too, but was on all fours at the end. This time I want to walk around / stand up or kneel up until the end, and I want to be at home. Fx I make it to 37 weeks this time! Hospitals make me anxious.

Penguin27 · 27/02/2017 07:51

Morning ladies! Such a busy weekend, so much to catch up on.

Good luck for today, Confused! I'll be keeping my eye on the thread waiting for an update. Hope you get to see your little bubble Smile

Still got my fx for you Grumpy, although I'm certain you're going to get a bpf this week!!

Mummyme87 · 27/02/2017 07:55

grumpy OBEM always shows women on their backs!! It is very cultural though, women think that is normal as that's what they see. We should be encouraging different positions however, some women have done their classes and research and know that others want to be a patient tucked up in bed.. which yes as you said affects progress and is in fact more painful

HbH04 · 27/02/2017 08:13

Morning!

Im SO tired, didnt get back from airport til half 12... they put my hand luggage in the hold cos the flight was full and took ages to get it back! Annoying!

Good luck with the scan confused

mummy I'm CD3 so just behind you!!

Hope the next two days go super quick for you Grump

Hotpinkangel19 · 27/02/2017 08:20

Hi! We are planning/preparing to ttc in November, came off cerazette yesterday, when should I start to take pre natal vitamins? X

HbH04 · 27/02/2017 08:25

Welcome hotpink

Three months before you start trying is what i've read

Have you got something like a wedding before hand or is it because you want a summer baby?!
