Yes I've got another clear blue early test and 2 FRER in house

TheGrumpySquirrel · 24/02/2017 20:25

I've showed him.. couldn't keep quiet.. he says he can see a hint of colour.. eek! Not gonna get too excited until morning

buzzmoon · 24/02/2017 20:26

Also, bloody hate not officially trying! Well actually, avoiding it, fertile week is quite tough and we hate other contraception! I want to take a leaf out of your book and get humping! 😂 Might be a no pj bottoms kind of evening in the buzz household regardless!

buzzmoon · 24/02/2017 20:27

Eek that will be so lovely, you can do it together in the morning!

confusedat23 · 24/02/2017 20:29

Grumpy how many dpo are you now?

TheGrumpySquirrel · 24/02/2017 20:31

10dpo today going by back pain on 14 Feb.

HeyJupiter · 24/02/2017 20:35

Oh my god grumpy I think I can see something too. Incredibly excited for your testing tomorrow morning. It might only be a little darker tomorrow - Sunday will still be good test day too. Eeeek, bet you won't sleep a wink :)

confusedat23 · 24/02/2017 20:37

I would go with the FRER tomorrow tbh Grumpy they are a more reliable test

HeyJupiter · 24/02/2017 20:38

I'm terrible at sewing but absolutely love knitting! Made some booties and hats for my niece - most simple pattern in the world which I'm happy to share if anyone wants it. Determined to learn how to crochet when I get pregnant so me, my mum and my sister (and I will force DH) can make some crochet squares each and then I can sew them together into a baby blanket.

buzzmoon · 24/02/2017 21:32

jupiter that sounds like a lovely idea! I'd love to be able to crochet.

What's everyone up to this weekend?

DancingUnicorn · 24/02/2017 21:32

That's such a gorgeous idea Jupiter! :)

MrsC2017 · 24/02/2017 22:14

grumpy I really think I can see something on that squinter!! Omg how exciting, def test again in the morn, your symptoms can't all be nothing!
Haha buzz ditch them pj's girl!
jupiter that's lovely, I really want to learn too, might get a kit and watch a few YouTube videos... Bet I'll be rubbish!
Still having pelvic twinges all day, either I'm implanting an army in there or I'm full of gas!

HbH04 · 24/02/2017 23:17

Exciting times grumpy

Pretty sure AF is here finally! Had some full on bleeding earlier.... took 20,000 steps round Lyon to shake her loose... but very pleased i know where i stand now!!

(& just as well as I've fully emabraced the wine & forbidden cheese!)

TheGrumpySquirrel · 25/02/2017 05:27

Well I tested with FMU and it looks like this FRER is negative so last night must have been an evap line Sad I think if it was picking up some HCG at all last night it should definitely have shown something on the FRER this morning. Officially stopping obsessing for the weekend now. Thanks for the support ladies.

Oh grumpy I'm sorry love. How annoying for you. The 2ww is so bloody long! Try and give it a few days. I'll be really shocked if you're not pregnant after all the symptoms you've had.

Still keeping my fingers crossed for you! Try and relax and enjoy the weekend xxx

I'm so sorry grumpy, after we got your hopes up for your bfp this morning. If it makes you feel any better, I think I was around 15 dpo before I got a squinter of a line. (Maybe I guessed ov day wrong...) so there's still hope, but can understand why you want to wait a couple of days now!

Seven0fNine · 25/02/2017 08:46

Nooo Grumpy...I don't know what to say my love... You're not out yet. Keeping my fingers crossed xxx

Sounds fabulous Hb

MrsC it took me a few goes to get the hang of it but after I few weeks of just practicing the basic stitches I was away.

Something like this Jupiter? I'm rubbish at knitting so we will have to give each other some pointers!!! This was meant to be a mood blanket where you do one a day for a year but I don't have that much time!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 25/02/2017 09:06

Thanks guys. There is a chance ov day is out by +/-2 days anyway. I'm ok just have to be patient I guess! What will be will be and all that. DH is being very sweet. Last night we were laughing with DD about how odd it will be to go from our little family of 3 to 4.

Focusing on healthy eating and fighting the bloat now! I got lazy as thought I was probably upduffed. Yoga at lunchtime then I might treat myself to some new clothes.

Hope everyone has lovely weekends xx

Seven0fNine · 25/02/2017 09:15

Sounds good Grumpy

There was supposed to be a picture attached to that last post...

Ooh they look lovely seven. I've just taken up crochet - my MIL bought me some pattern books and hooks etc for Christmas. I can do stripes so I've been working on a blanket - I find it quite therapeutic. I'm giving the current one to my mum and then once that's done I want to make a smaller one as a baby blanket in softer colours. There's a great website called the wool warehouse that you can order yarn from. It's great quality stuff and they have some lovely colours!

Oh I'm sorry grumpy, this is such a bloody rollercoaster isn't it. But you're not out until AF shows so give it another couple of days. You never know. I've heard those blue clearblue tests are notorious for doing this to people! Hope you're okay Flowers

seven those squares are beautiful. I think they call them 'granny squares' and there are so many different designs. I like the sort of star-burst ones that I've seen online. I thought it would be nice for family members to all contribute. So pretty. Knitting is the most fun though, big chunky needles and none of the concentration needed for sewing :)

Thanks for the advice guys about DTD and eod. Just shows really how much luck is involved when someone can DTD everyday and not get pregnant and then for others only takes once!

I think I might have thrush guys! (sorry if TMI) I think due to multiple bubble baths and lots of chocolate in posh hotel earlier this week... it's not too bad at all (just feels like a bit of burning, tiny bit itchy but not badly) How is this going to impact on our TTC-ing? Can I treat it without it impacting on DH sperm later? Eeek.

buzzmoon · 25/02/2017 09:43

Oh I'm so sorry grumpy I really thought it was :(
You're not out just yet though but the waiting must be driving you mad!! Flowers

Mummyme87 · 25/02/2017 09:49

Sorry about the BFN grumpy avoid the blue dye. They are what got my hopes up in cycle 2 as I could see lines on all of them 😞 It's such a rollercoaster, but you're not out until AF shows. Enjoy your weekend.

I'm off to bed post night shift

AllTheGlitters · 25/02/2017 10:07

Hi all,

Sorry I didn't check in on Friday, and really sorry to hear about your BFNs Grumpy and Penguin, I got a BFN too! Had to take my DD to the doctors, she's been very poorly bless her and needing lots of love! We're not out until AF is here though, I'm trying desperately not to symptom spot but I have had this funny tight feeling in my lower abdomen on the right hand side, but who knows!

Maybe it would be best if we did wait until at least April though, work have just asked me to increase my hours from 3 to 4 days a week and I accepted, how cheeky would it look if I agreed the extra money then straight away had to tell them I'm going on Mat leave again for 12 months! Confused

DancingUnicorn · 25/02/2017 10:17

Sorry about your bfn glitters and hope your dd is ok!
