Thanks MrsMc, just tested again with Asdas own, def BFP, thanx everyone for wise words and support. Don't think I could have coped with the manicness of TTC without ya. I'll keep popping in to catch up with the goss.

scorpio1 · 04/04/2007 12:49

OMG yay!!well done

BeckleSpeckledEgg · 04/04/2007 12:55

Afternoon all!
Ambi and Caz10 - how exciting for you both! Hope the next few days fly past and bring you both EFPs (ENORMOUS fat positives)!
Scorpio - Your signs sound quite good, fingers crossed for you - will you test over the weekend?
Bbabymumma - It is frustrating having a long cycle because I know I have less chances to get pg (if I even ov). We do just BD very regularly and hope for the best! I also test fairly regularly after about CD40 or so just in case!
Ambi - cycle has always been irregular - sometimes only a couple of weeks, sometimes a few months. Last year I had 3 x 40 day cycles in a row before I fell pg but m/c seems to have sent them all long again. As you say, long or no cycles are great when you are not ttc - bit of a pain when you are!
Awen - fingers crossed for you too - not meaning to get your hopes up to high but when I am pg I only get sickness in the evenings (except for the last one where I had it all day but worse in the evenings), never actually sick, just nausea.
TigersEasterChick - good luck at the doctors! Hope you got on well and they agreed to do some tests.
Daisyboohoo - keep that charm near the computer!

BeckleSpeckledEgg · 04/04/2007 12:55

Ambi!!!!!!!
Well done hun!

FurryFox · 04/04/2007 13:01

Hi girls. So I miss a day and there's at least two BFP's, fantastic!

Congratulations Daisy and Ambi - wishing you both happy and healthy pregnancies.

Fingers crossed for you Caz, let's hope the line was definitely a BFP line

Scorpio - As others have said the signs sound promising so have my fingers crossed for you too and well done on holding out on the testing

Welcome to this very busy thread all the newbies, I hope it's as lucky for you as it seems to be for some others already

Hi to everyone else, hope all is well. CD33 for today and AF due on Sunday but pretty sure it's not my month this month.

Good luck everyone who has their AF due in the next few days

Caz10 · 04/04/2007 13:06

Congratulations Ambi! Wonderful news!

I was thinking about testing again today but I drink LOADS of water and pee all the time during the day, so waiting till tomorrow morning. (sorry, tmi!) Might even pop to shops later and get a fancy digital one just to be sure!

Very happy for you!!

Ambi · 04/04/2007 13:24

Caz10, I drink gallons of tea all day, today I'm been back and forth to the loo with the need to wee (TMI!!!) Was worried by the time I'd bought the test I wouldn't have anything left, let alone anything with the hormone in it, sure enough that feint line was there - Now it's bright as anything, nearly bought a digi one too, but the cheapskate in me couldn't spend £10 on a test!!!!! (I got a twinpack just in case)

I'm just an impatient bugger and the suspense would have killed me! Got my fingers and toes crossed for you, and you scorpio, my cycle bud.

yum03creameggs · 04/04/2007 13:31

Sorry - scorpio you posted earlier - my brain is like mush today. Enjoy the nice weather.

peanutbutter · 04/04/2007 13:35

well done ambi

scorpio hang in there - just try to enjoy the sunshine in your Cornwall garden for the moment you lucky devil

I'm on CD20 (20 days following MC) and was definitely ovulating last week - but did I do anything about it? No. Well... hardly. Don't think there'll be any special Easter eggs in my little stocking this month.

BellaBear · 04/04/2007 13:37

Well done Ambi!

Wow thanx guys April is the month for us all - I said so weeks ago...

Bbabymumma · 04/04/2007 14:01

Fantastic news Ambi Remember what we said about telling people it happened first time you tried !! It shows you that BFNs are very often not BFNs.

Thanks yum03creameggs for moving all our days on. I was thinking of trying to do it myself but was getting (easily) confused. DH just told me that he's nearly over d&v bug and may be well enough to get up to activities at the weekend! I need to start watching out for this cm stuff you all talk about.

tigersEasterchick · 04/04/2007 14:10

Congratulations Ambi!

Gracie14 · 04/04/2007 14:17

Hi all,

Mum03/Yum03 - Any signs of anything yet?

I have been having mild nausea since Sat (think it could be due to dodgy Indian on Friday night). I'd convinced myself that I wasn't pregnant this month, but as usual couldn't resist a test yesterday (5/6 days before period is due I know I'm mad) but I was sure that I could see a line (if I held it in the light)I kept going back to check and it was definately there after a while (I know your not meant to count it after a certain time). Today I tested and it was a negative.

Do you think that it could be possible that there was a line there? Do lines just appear after a certain time on pregnancy tests?

I am really torturing myself I know, and I proberbly know the answer but could anyone please help.

Congrats for the BFP'S

Caz10 · 04/04/2007 16:21

Gracie someone mentioned a really useful website called peeonastick.com it is fab has all sorts of info and photos of what bfp/bfn look like on test sticks.

I think it depends how long you leave it for - my little line this morning definitely took a couple of mins to appear which is what is making me doubt it. Although it was def there between 2-3 mins.

The kits said don't read after 3-4 mins, and after 10 a false positive can show up.

Good luck!

MrsMcEasterBunny · 04/04/2007 16:29

Ambi ? wishing you a very happy and healthy pregnancy and a bouncing baby in December Cut down on the tea hon!

Hello Becklespeckledhen

Never say never Furry Fox

LOL Yum03 something on your mind?!

Peanutbutter ? that?s great news re OV just out of interest, when do you normally OV? I?m not convinced I have but if I did it was cd28 as opposed the usual pre MC cd16-18.

Bbabymomma ? get busy girl!

Gracie ? isn?t it funny how we spot a symptom and then backtrack I have an entry in my diary from when I was 6dpo the cycle I got my BFP saying that I was flushed and throwing up all night with a funny sweet taste in my mouth but that it was probably down to the central heating?! How exciting!! I?m going to go and have a look at your chart! Done - If we ignore the temps pre cd8 (they were so high weren?t they ? were you unwell?) then we can set your coverline at 36.4, you probably OVd on CD11 I reckon which would make you 7dpo today so still very early but your temps are good, what were they today? Bear in mind that 10dpo only 35% get a BFP and that that leaps up to 74% BY 14dpo. I really hope it?s your lucky month! If I were you I?d wait to test in a couple more days. I don?t know how quickly the HCG levels build but I know they have a half life of 36 hours. Fingers crossed

Just correcting my details:

pinkslippers · 04/04/2007 17:05

Hi everyone I can't remember my cycle day hang on...CD 27 af due around the 9th april give or take.

I dont' feel pg, i want to be pg though. It's month 3 of trying now and getting impatient even though i shouldn't be. I know some couples it takes years. I haven't symptom spotted alot recently.

Scorpio i hope you get your bfp, i really do.

Congrats on all bfp so far.

Saw my sister today she's starting to show but happy at the same time. oh well my time will come i hope feel abit down today.

pinkslippers · 04/04/2007 17:07

I've also got pmt today so do you get pmt and still be pregnant or is that a deffo sign that af is on it's way??

BellaBear · 04/04/2007 17:08

there are no definite signs of pregnancy compared to your period. For instance:

bloatedness
nausea
bleeding
spots
moodiness
painful breasts
constipation

can all be signs of both!

tigersEasterchick · 04/04/2007 17:31

Hiya, just a quickie as I must get dd her tea!

Dr very helpful. Already booked for bloods tomorrow and he's setting the wheels for an ultrasound, should be about 4 weeks. He's also mentioned Clomid and seeing a gyn! Pretty proactive especially as I didn't have to push him at all! So feeling quitte positive at the mo.

Gonna keep bding just to be on the safe side tho!

Hope all is fine and dandy with all of you.

fifisworld · 04/04/2007 18:09

Congrats Ambi

im going to test on Saturday,3 days before af as im going to wedding so dont want to drink if i could be pg.
