Morning all, how are we today?

Fifisworld ? try not to spot as you?ll drive yourself insane I know it?s hard not to but I can tell you that in the 8 cycles before my BFP, there were lots of differences between cycles and there were ones that I thought I felt much more pg than the month I actually was If you can?t resist, have a look at the twoweekwait.com website, it?ll make you an obsessive spotter!

Hi Furryfox ? yes I believe we?ve met before and that you were very nice to me after my MC (thank you ) I?m like you, can?t stay away from MN and always found it a real port in a storm and never the reverse

Hi Caz10 ? of course there is such a thing as a LSP whispering congratulations to you because a line is a line but test again in a few days and the stronger hormones will give you a stronger line (and a louder congratulations from me !) Everything crossed for you! Why not go for a digital? It was so cool to see the words ?pregnant? without having to second guess the lines!

Hello Pinkcandyfloss ? from my months on MN, one of the things I have learnt is that the desire for a baby, 1st or 10th is just the same and the fact that you have one already won?t dilute that feeling in any way so you have no need to feel guilty! We all want the same thing here!

interesting Scorpio ? I had similar ?bleeding? the cycle I got my BFP, got a slither of tissue and a tiny spot of blood (sorry if TMI) 3dpo and then brown CM from 4dpo to 11dpo and then got my BFP on 12dpo! I don?t want to get your hopes up unnecessarily but there may be more to this than just AF on her way. If you are cd23/24, I take it you must have short cycles and ovulate early? Do you have any idea when that was? If you don?t chart, do you know when you had EWCM? Would be interesting to try and work out where you are. As I?m sure you already know, CM and cramps often happen in early pregnancy too (it?s the progesterone) just to throw as of the scent! Keep us posted! Fingers crossed

mrsmceasterbunny-i am CD25 now,i think (well had ewcm) i ov'd around Saturday 24-this was last day of ewcm, making me around 10dpo?

not sure of cycle length because i have had a coil for the last year,so its hard to know.its still not here though.it was sort of pinky/browny,tiny tiny bit.CM is watery now,but clear/white.any ideas???

CD38 here (CD34 on clomid) still no AF. Not doing another test yet. Speak to consultant on Thursday.

I'm going slightly insane with impatience, sore norks(.)(.) yesterday, nothing today, my hopes are fading quickly - which I guess is a pretty good thing expecting AF rather than BFP, then it'll be a nice surprise (or what I'm telling myself!) Due today / tomorrow, tested this morning BFN, so not really expecting miracles, then this little voice says "yeah, but what if..."

Scorpio ? 10dpo sounds about right then. Could mean the ?bleed? was more likely to be implantation if we are being positive when do you plan to test? I had lots of CM the cycle I was pg, some seem to and others don?t, I guess having had a coil it?s hard for you to know if that?s normal for you at the mo keeping everything crossed!

Did a test this morning and -ve. HOWEVER, because I tested so early this is inconvlusive to me. What if the hormones aren't at a high enough concentration yet. You were right tigerEasterchick. Am waiting for af now though as I could spend pee stick money on much better things. But I won't wait, will I? I am prostrate with exhaustion. Have NO energy. Is this a symptom?

westerngirl-wait 48 hours and try again,hcg may not be high enough in your system yet.it could of been a false -,dont worry and keep your chin up.

Yeah scorpio, got it in my diary to test on Friday, obv. if AF doesn't show!!!! but I'm naturally impatient and have tons of cheapy ebay tests begging to be used!!!

(At least I'm only testing in the mornings now unlike previous cycles!)

Lucy - am not completely sure on this but I think that AF should arrive 12-19 days after ov. I had EWCM twice in my last cycle, about 10 days apart and nowhere near when AF turned up so I am guessing it was not ovulation for me - cycle was 69 days. I am no expert though and am sure someone will come along soon who knows a bit more!

westerngirl - keep +ve, exhaustion def sign of pg but I was exhausted last month unfortunately and it was part of a bloomin d&v bug that my entire family have come down with. Had 3 -ve with my dd thos cos tested too early.

Still no announcements of AFs brilliant - it's Daisyboohoos charm i reckon.

I also read that on a very long cycle you are unlikely to ovulate - saying that, my DS2 was conceived on a long cycle. His due date from AF should have been October but he was a January baby!

I'll still be here April 24th BbabyMumma... given recent cycles AF should arrive for me around middle to end of May.

Being very thick - can i just ask. Did that mean you were pg for longer than 9 months with ds1. I guess it mean there was just a big gap in between your last AF and when you actually fell pg. Sorry for blondeness.

Don't feel bad for moaning! For all of us our cycles feel horribly long - whatever length they are!
You not being thick, I didn't word it too well - I was only pg for 9 months but the cycle he was conceived on would have been 4 months long! Think last AF was over a year before he was born. Does that make more sense?

That makes sense. Must be confusing and irritating for you and involve alot of BDing to do it at the right time!

Beckle, how do you cope with extra long cycles? Is it a usual thing? I though that mine were long, approx 6 weeks, but after the depo injection when I was 16 I didn't have a period for a year and a half which at that age was great, no spending on sanitary supplies, but was getting a little worried that my body wouldn't function properly, now they're approx 37 days which is ok. I feel for you not knowing where you stand.

Sorry Lucy, crossed posts with you before. I?d have to check but think that the LP isn?t over 18 days if you are not pg, I?ll check and let you know tomorrow though. If you have an anovulatory cycle, no egg is released and no progesterone is produced from its follicle therefore the bleed you have is an estrogen breakthrough bleed and not an AF because the estrogen cannot sustain the hormone levels needed to keep the lining thick without progestrone. Erratic CM can be seen in anovulatory cycles. How long have your cycles been like this? Might be worth trying to convince your GP to test your progesterone levels, its called a day 21 test I think. Hope this helps.

I'm still breastfeeding 14 month old DD and wondered if that has anything to do with not ovulating?
I was on the pill for 10 yrs then had 75 day cycle then conceived DD. Cycles returned Dec 06 and have been 42/43/37 long.

What you say about erratic egg white best describes my cycles. Some cycles I've had it for over a week. However sometimes I wonder if I mis interpret the egg white. (sorry for TMI) sometimes it really is like the blob of eggwhite that is attached the yolk of an egg and other times more slimy and stretchy.
Apologies if anyone was eating their dinner reading that, does anyone know of a website with a picture of fertile egg white? I am sure I saw it years ago when I wasn't even thinking about babies

af not here yet,so thats 32 hours ago i had that small 'bleed'.i would of had a full on period by now,knowing my body.CM is normal,CD26 tomorrow.....

Trying to resist the urge to test again here as I think at teh back of my mind that I am not. Just this bloody nausea again I get it in teh evenings and my left boob is aching. Now CD38 - no AF, had a heavy ache in my womb area. Just feeling frustrated cos if i ov'd late then may still be too early to test. Migth be completely fooling myself and not have ov'd at all and my body might just be doing silly things.

Hello everyone, thought I would join here.
I'm on CD18, and unlike last month no urge to test, saw EWCM last week on CD10, does that mean that I probably ovulated around CD12-13?
DH and I have been BDing every 48 hours (sometimes less!) since CD9, so I'm hoping we got it right this time. I think I was surprised to see EWMC so early since last cycle was 30 days long. Still, we BDed every day for a week and a half (boy that was exhausting) and still didn't get pregnant so not hoolding much hope for now!

Awenbadbunny-well done for holding out,the longer you hold out,the stronger the test and the less you will have to hold it up to the light!!!!is your period late?if so,i would maybe have a pee on a stick tomorrow morning.

my period is still not here,not one bit.could list a million (i expect phantom!) symptoms though

Not much to report here, off to the gp this afternoon so will report back what he has to say. I'm going to have a look in the archives to get as much advice as I can before I go. Just hope I don't get fobbed off.
