Morning all,

I did a test this morning and BFN! I knew in all likelyhood it would be! I'm gong to my mums for a couple of nights so maybe if I don't take any tests with me I won't toture myself again.

OK I lasted until this morning, what willpower, and now....I'm not sure! Is there such a thing as a lsp (little skinny positive)?! I had a line there which was barely visible to the naked eye, I only spotted it just as I was about to chuck it away, and then only if you held it up to the light!
dh says he could see it too, but neither of us can remember looking that closely at the bfns before, so maybe that is a line that is always there?!

If (IF IF IF) it was a bfp would the line get darker as the pregnancy hormones increase? And if so, I wonder what rate they increase at?

Caz - wow how exciting, was it within the time limit or could it have been an evaporation line? Anyway hcg doubles every 48-72hours, so within two days you should see a stronger line (as long as you use fmu and don't drink too much to dilute it.... oh I am beginning to feel excitement building here..... Also you would get a stronger line on more sensitive tests, so you need to compare with similar test.... keep us updated.

goingfor3 - I know that this is not easy for you, but we will get there. Try to have a nice relaxing time at your mums.

ooh Caz, I hope you are! Be careful not to keep looking at the same test. It may have a clearer line later but, once the time has gone you can't count it. Do another test tomorrow or the next day. If you get impatient, I find that thinking about how much the tests cost can stop me from testing whenever!?

yum03creameggs - it was my fault, I was testing early. Looking back at my charts my period starts about 12-13 days after ov so I will test again on Thursday if it hasn't started. I really hope that we both get our BFP's this month as most of what you write is how I feel too!

Caz10 - from experience I would disregard a test unless you can see a clear line. Hopefully you will get a nice strong line when you test again in a couple of days!

my period still hasnt arrived,nothing since 12 yesterday lunchtime and just that little bit(see post,last night 6pm)-so im continuing to count my CD.im due my period on saturday anyway,so if i dont start my period before then, then i can test soon and find out for sure!

Bellabear - I hope you are feeling happier today... I understand exactly how you feel. Although I only discovered mn a few months ago had spent months/almost years being happy for others when also being a little Both my sisterinlaws have had babies in past year. Both after very little trying. At work theres 18 girls in the preggy cupboard at the mo.. and at least a dozen on maternity..

Caz10 - good luck with your next test. I tested on cd23 and cd25 and both times got a hard to see/barely there line that I convinced myself was a bfn - only an evap line. I dont want to get your hopes up but until af...

Scorpio- I really hope af hasnt arrived. A week ago I started spotting (remember?) Please dont get your hopes up too much but I was in your position this time last week. cd22 evening I had light brown/pinky spotting. Very little- not enough for a pad. When I wiped was just normal cm with pink spots in. AF pains/cramps started the next day and I really thought she was on her way. I've got my fingers and toes crossed for you...

I dont want to leave you all so. if you dont mind I'm gonna hang around and wait for you all to come over with me.. Fertility charm by my side and sending you all baby dust..

daisy-mine was tiny amount,i wouldnt have noticed if i wasnt looking i didnt even need a pad.i have cramps today and am just waiting for it turn up!im trying so hard not to think too much about it......

Scorpio - I wouldnt have noticed mine if I hadnt had white underwear on. CM just returned to clear/white colour. I've got everything crossed for you..
i really convinced myself that those lines were evap lines and now feel so guilty.... I had a HUGE bar of choc to console myself and hot choc with baileys!

Hi all - Happy to hear no AFs have arrived this morning so far. She's nearly left me thank god. DH has man flu though - hope he's ready for Bding next week.

Scorpio1 - enjoy the garden with the kiddies. Is it raining your way? Looks like it might out the office window. Fingers crossed AF stays away.

Don't worry the test went in the bin after 3 mins were up!! It was so faint I really can't take anything from it, so the plan is wait till Thursday and pee on the expensive test!! (this one was a v cheap dippy one) (i know it shouldn't make any difference!)

Where are you getting your vcheap tests from? I've been spending a fortune on clearblue and have had enough.

Our local savers were closing down and they were 50p each! had been £2 i think. I only bought about 6, if I'd known what a loony this would turn me into I'd have picked up whole shelf!

Hi everyone

Haven't been on here for a while, it's great to see a BFP from Daisy! well done.

It's CD34 for me (cycles usually 43/37 days long) and have a feeling AF is going to arrive soon.

I'm confused - can anyone help? I had EW very early this month and it had all gone by Mar 17th. Can my luteal phase be longer than 14-16 days? Or perhaps is this an indication that I'm not ovulation (I read somewhere about if you don't ovulate you can have a bleed which you think is AF but it's actually just the build up of the uterine lining when ovulation didn't take place).
