BB - thanks for the link, I'll have a read up.
I was concerned my post might offend as perhaps I should've created a new topic for it? Also, maybe I sound very desperate testing when AF here.

Thanks for your reply

Lucy

don't know if it relevant Lucy but I have dropped a test in the urine before and it had a faint line - when I re-tested it was neg (am sure someone on the April thread had something similar too). Also, pg hormones stay in your body for a while after m/c and the sticks only check if it's there, not how much. If second test came up neg I would say ignore the first one but obviously go to the docs if you at all worried too. hope some of that helps! x

Lucy1977 · 04/03/2007 21:32

Hi BS

Since my last post I've been looking through some other threads and came across what you mention - people who have dropped a test in the loo before and it's come up positive for them to then get negatives (and they haven't been pregnant), I really think that's the case with that first test I took earlier today.

Its just a coincidence that AF has been a bit scatty this cycle so I'm just going to ignore it and enjoy TTC this month.

Thanks
Lucy

BellaBear · 05/03/2007 16:26

Right, I am definitely an Easter Egg rather than a Mad Hatter now. I'd convinced myself I was having an implantation bleed as my period was very slow to start (and a bit early) but is most definitely is my period now! Should I count today as CD1?

feeling a bit low now. sob!

Lucy1977 · 05/03/2007 16:41

BB, sorry AF is now fully here, I would count CD1 as the day the bleeding started but I'm sure some others can give advice backed up with reason - mine is just what I think!

My AF is now not wanting to leave, TMI but just a trickle... grrrr!

CD5 for me

Lucy

FurryFox · 05/03/2007 17:27

Afternoon ladies. Just quickly popping in to say I am officially here now. AF arrived in full flow on Saturday just as I thought it would so at least I saved on the tests CD3 now.

Was away all weekend and haven't had the chance to catch up yet but will try and get back on later. Hope everyone is well

Hello

Anyone mind if I join??

Was hoping for a BFP this month but AF just arrived. Have been ttc for 4 months now.
Anyone have any recommendations for OPKs? I'm gonna start on the grapefruit juice today. Any other tips? I'm now off to the loft to dig out my fertility charm from Bolivian witches market! (Bought for a friend years ago and she was pregnant before I got home!!)

FurryFox · 06/03/2007 19:25

Hi daisyboohoo. Sorry AF arrived for you, hope this month is better for you Have no experience of using OPKs I'm afraid so can't give you any recomendations but I'm sure someone on here has used them and will be able to advise you

Hi cityangel - Sorry AF arrived for you too. Really hoping this month is so much better for us all

CD4 for me today and feeling positively positive about the month ahead Hope everyone else is feeling the same

plummymummy · 06/03/2007 23:52

OP posts:
FurryFox · 07/03/2007 14:29

plummymummy sorry you're not feeling so great at the moment. At least when AF has gone you can get on with things again although that probably doesn't make you feel any better at the moment so I will shut up now. Hope you're having a better day today anyway

How is everyone else doing?

mum2sam · 07/03/2007 14:44

hiya, was hoping not to be joining you in this thread iykwim but think AF is coming today ;-( What methods are you using to get pregnant? Ive only been using the ovulator calculater on another site to calculate my most fertile days. Any other advice?

mum2sam · 07/03/2007 14:45

What does CD mean?

BellaBear · 07/03/2007 14:47

Do you know, I'd quite like to have sex because I feel like having sex. But I also want to try as hard as possible to get pregnant this month and have a december baby. Can't have it both ways.

mum2sam: I am trying the 'have sex as much as is humanly possible' approach. It oworked last time (although then mc'ed)

BellaBear · 07/03/2007 14:47

cycle day

Ready · 07/03/2007 14:52

Just popping in, best of luck for April everyone!!! CD2 here, so keeping busy and my mind of of ttc (yeah right!)

BellaBear · 07/03/2007 14:57
