Well, since it's a dare!

wheelybug · 10/03/2007 20:22

Go for it Bella !! We'll be cheering from the sidelines (metaphorically.. of course ).

Hi Pinkslipper - sorry you're hear too...

Furryfox - we were once a bit worried about the concept of a December baby as dd is January and that's not great but quite frankly I will be sooooooooooo happy if I have a December baby now.

Welcome Kensgirl !

Hello everyone else. Hope you're weekends are going well.

BellaBear · 11/03/2007 08:19

one down, thirteen to go!

kensgirl · 11/03/2007 09:31

Thanks everyone!
Good luck with the daily duties bellabear I've been aiming to do the same thing but have not quite managed it yet! Dh cant believe his luck!

How do I add myself to the roll call, i think AF due around 1st but my cycle has a mind of its own at the moment, so i'm slurping grapefruit juice and full fat milk. Not ata the same time though..

goingfor3 · 11/03/2007 10:47

Morning all,

I'm joining you after a 24 day cycle. I said I wouldn't try this month as I didn't want a christmas baby but right now I don't care!

goingfor3 · 11/03/2007 10:48

Is 24 even long enough to have a chance of implantation?

ammylovesolivia · 11/03/2007 10:50

goingfor3- it depends on length of luteal phase. The best way to determine that is to temp.

kensgirl · 11/03/2007 11:13

going for 3- my cycle last month was only 24 days too, so know how you feel, and the "what if..." worries that go with it. I.m putting it down to early ovulation and my cycle still being messy after mc, but i havnt any proof as i dont use OPK or charting. Hope all is well for you -keep smiling.

Gracie14 · 11/03/2007 15:55

Hi all,

CD1 for me today

I'm feeling really down at the moment, I keep bursting into tears today it's the first time that I have been this sad when AF has arrived. I feel like it's never going to happen.

Sorry to be so negative.

FurryFox · 11/03/2007 16:04

Hi Gracie. Sorry AF has arrived and sorry you are feeling so sad about it How long have you been ttc? I hope this month is your month

Gracie14 · 11/03/2007 16:14

Thanks furryfox, this will be my 7th cycle I just can't shake the feeling that something could be wrong with me. Two of my closest friends have just found out they are pregnant after both trying for 2 months before falling.

How long have you been trying?

FurryFox · 11/03/2007 16:35

I guess when friends start announcing pregnancies, especially if fallen quite quickly it can make things even harder, it's horrible when you want something so desperatly and it doesn't happen straight away.

I don't want to patronise you by saying I'm sure there's nothing wrong with you and you will probably get pg soon but I'm sure you will. Seven months isn't that long but I know that's no comfort when you just want to be pg and you're not. Do you have any other DCs?

This will only be my third month of ttc which is maybe why I am quite optimistic and have said the above Give me another 6 months or so and I'll probably feel exactly the same

nomoremagnolia · 11/03/2007 16:48

Hi all, just signing in to April, really fed up of ttc at the mo, this is the start of cycle 15. Thought we'd done it this time, we bd every night from cd11-21 (I ov cd20) but I only had a 9 day LP. Both dh and I are totally pissed off, but we're going to try and see gp about fertility tests this week.

Gracie14 · 11/03/2007 16:50

Don't get me wrong I'm really happy for them, just want it to happen to me too.

I am trying for my first and your right about 7 months not being that long, compared with some people. I am generally quite optimistic but I think I was symptom spotting to much this month and really thought this was it.

Thanks for listening - fingers crossed for us both this month

FurryFox · 11/03/2007 17:02

Hope you didn't think I was implying you were not happy for your friend Of course you are, but like you said, you just want it to happen for you too Totally understand where you're coming from

I was sympton spotting on my first month ttc and really did think I might be pg, especially as AF arrived 8 days late. Even after 3 tests I thought they might be wrong and I was actually pg. Obviously I wasn't and needless to say I spent last month doing everything I could not to sympton spot and actually felt ok when AF arrived

Good luck for this month and everyone else too

FurryFox · 11/03/2007 17:07

nomore - Sorry didn't see your post there wasn't ignoring you

Sorry AF has arrived I can understand why you and DH are annoyed, it must be so frustrating. I hope the docs are good with you and you can get some tests done just to make sure things are ok. Hopefully this month will be your month and the tests won't be needed

LorLa · 11/03/2007 17:16

Hi all,
I hope you don't mind me butting in on your thread. I'm pretty new to this site and have only been ttc for 5 months. It's not long compared to some but I can't believe how obsessive it can be and have been relieved to see that others go through the ritual of symptom spotting too. My cycle is all over the place which doesn;t help either so af due from today onwards. The waiting game is so boring!

FurryFox · 11/03/2007 17:37

Hi LorLa, welcome to the April thread. Understand exactly what you mean about how obsessive ttc can be. Sorry your cycles are all over the place but let's hope AF doesn't arrive this month. However if it does and if your next AF would potentially be in April you can stick around here as this thread is for April AFs, there is another one for girls waiting for their March Af but happy to have you here

goingfor3 - Sorry you have had to join us from the March thread too. I know what you mean about the Christmas baby but as others have said, Christmas babies are great Good luck for this month.

kensgirl - Welcome to the April thread. No need to feel shy Sorry you have had a difficult time Hope things are on the up for you now and it won't be long before you get your BFP

LorLa · 11/03/2007 17:47

Thanks furryfox. I'm sure I will be back in a couple of days - I can sense that the dreaded AF is on it's way despite doing everything right this month. Such a pain!!!

FurryFox · 11/03/2007 17:52

Hope you don't have to come back IYSWIM. Hope AF stays away but if she doesn't then come straight back and we can focus on April and hoping for a Chirsitmas baby

LorLa · 11/03/2007 18:02

Unfortunately I am going away for 2 weeks with work next weekend so if AF comes in the next few days I will miss the vital time next month so will then be looking towards a 2008 baby. What a nightmare. Maybe I will see you in the May thread but I hope I don't see you for all of the right reasons!!!

BellaBear · 11/03/2007 18:12
