Hmm Furryfox, could just be a strange couple of months for you due to stress and such of ttc. For me it is just dodgy hormones, was given clomid to conceive first time as I very rarely ovulate. I have always been that way and didn't even have a visit from AF until I was 16! I have seen a consultant but he wants me to wait and see for a bit (grr), possibly a good idea though as body went through a bit last year and I imagine that time to calm down would do it good.
Have been eating lots of porrige as apparently oats help with regulating hormones. When I fell pg last year it only took a few months (v quick for me - DS2 took 18) and I had a reasonably regular, if long, cycle - only thing I can think of that was different - porrige. Was eating it every day then - well it has to be worth a try!

becklespeckle · 20/03/2007 23:26

Hi Awen! Did notice you were on this thread too! I am definitely here now as AF has finally arrived. Clomid should give you pretty much a 28 day cycle so give it a couple more days and if no AF, test again!
Men always think they have superior sperm!

scorpio1 · 21/03/2007 09:04

i dont know whats wrong with me today, but i have woken up 'full of the joys of spring' !

CD11 here today.starting the business part now

everyone ok?

well done bella!

fifisworld · 21/03/2007 09:09

Ive got up today in such a fettle and am in a right mood with myself.
I have told dp that we need to 'do the deed' from tonight but he's said he's going to the gym and wont be in until late so might not be up for it

what does cd11 mean?

scorpio1 · 21/03/2007 09:12

CD means cycle day,so it was 11 days ago that my period started IYSWIM?

its helpful to count the CD so you can see how your body works, especially for me,as i have recently had a coil removed and dont know how my cycles are naturally.

am i making sense?

my 2 year old is growling at me!!think i am being told off

scorpio1 · 21/03/2007 09:13

oh and bloody men!my dp goes thai boxing a good few times a week.sometimes i feel like i am a single person/mother!

fifisworld · 21/03/2007 09:19

yes that does make sense thanks.
i do feel like a single parent 99% of the time, and i want another one, i must be mad

fleacircus · 21/03/2007 13:41

Good afternoon all, I hope you don't mind me joining you from March. I'm not worth talking to right now though, too hacked off about AF.

BellaBear · 21/03/2007 13:58

Hello fleacircus

fleacircus · 21/03/2007 14:10

Hi Bella - how are you? I actually like the updates, it makes me feel better about my own obsessiveness. Only seven more get-ups - are you going away?

Daisybelle · 21/03/2007 15:37

Hello - Please can I join?

Been ttc since the start of the year. dd is 12 months. Rediculouly irregular cycle - cd67 here and no way of knowing when ov or AF due!? Happy days!

scorpio1 · 21/03/2007 16:04

hi daisybelle i know some others on here have really long cycles like yours too.must be really frustrating.

im a bit peed off actually.im on cd11 and have just started spotting, even though i have ewcm today and yesterday.im so annoyed.my body seems to be taking sooooooo long to settle down after my coil.

Rant over

BellaBear · 21/03/2007 16:25

seven more 'get ups' hahaha yes! No, not going away really. are you? will be marking tons of coursework though! fun fun fun.

Hello Daisybelle!

fleacircus · 21/03/2007 16:28

No year 11 for me, pleasingly, apart from form group (I have weird and very dossy job that doesn't really exist in any other schools) - am off to Spain, hurrah. We're getting the train so spending a night in France on the way there and two on the way back. Can't wait, thinking about that instead of bastard AF.

BellaBear · 21/03/2007 16:36

oooo what dossy job? I have a year 10 form. looking forward to not having them for all of year 11 iyswim!

becklespeckle · 21/03/2007 16:57

Welcome Daisybelle! my cycle is bad too, last cycle was 69 days. have you always had an irregular cycle?

Daisybelle · 21/03/2007 17:31

Hi BS. Yes it's always been bad. Regulated it with the pill for years but that's not an option now is it

tbh I didn't find it frustrating before as we'd had the 'what will be will be' attitude to ttc. But now I really don't want dd to be an only child and I'd prefer to have them reasonably close. It is, therefore, quite frustrating not knowing when things are happening ... but it means we can just keep trying all the time

becklespeckle · 21/03/2007 17:51

I know what you mean, we just try all the time. I don't really mind AF coming only a handfull of times a year but is a pain when ttc, you have no idea when you need to try and no idea when to start looking for symptoms!

Daisybelle · 21/03/2007 18:27

Exactly. With dd we'd been trying so long (3 years) that I'd given up symptom spotting. Actually dh told me to do the test coz I'd been dead arsey with him! Also I went off the booze!!

Lucy1977 · 21/03/2007 22:23

welcome Daisybelle, my DD is 13 months so very close in age. My usual cycle is 42 days but last month was 37 days

scorpio - I also had some spotting but egg white last week, not sure what to make of that (it was wayyyy too early for implantation bleeding).

Can anyone help? I've still got egg white today - that's over a week I've been getting it.

I'm unbearably broody - two guys at work brought in pics of their 2 and 3 wk old newborns today!

Hope everyone is well, keep on shagging!

Lucy

becklespeckle · 22/03/2007 00:31

I go off booze too Daisybelle! I only knew I was expecting DS2 when I went off hot food - I was 10 weeks pg! I just thought I'd put on a bit of weight (I show v early)!

fifisworld · 22/03/2007 08:11

Hope everyone else is getting on ok.

plummymummy · 22/03/2007 10:35

Hi everyone, been quiet for a bit. CD22 and I can't see it happening this month as we haven't done it during my fertile period for one reason or another. However, booked our holiday today and am feeling very happy about that
