Ive got a really stupid question but....
if the first day of my last period was 12th march and i only bled for 2 days fairly lightly, when will i ovulate. I think my cycles are normally about 31 days

I'm hopeless at cycle and ovulation stuff. Most people ov in the middle of their cycle but I don't think this is always the case. As I said, I'm hopeless with this sort of stuff, I don't even know when I ov myself

Do you know when your next AF (or hopfully BFP) is due?

no idea when next AF will be due, she just turns up when she's got no-where else to go I think! last cycle got to CD69 (was v depressed yesterday morning cos thought had got to CD70 until AF turned up in the afternoon).

69 days Do you know why you had such a long cycle? Come off the pill,b/feeding etc? Sorry if I'm being too nosey

Nose away Furryfox! Cycle always been awful, can go anything from 3 weeks to 4 months between AF visits. Did get a bit more regular last year for a time (38-40 days) but then got pg, had m/c and now its all wonky again! What's your cycle like? are you fairly regular?

Lucy - dd is almost 2.2. Not sure where that time has gone and makes me realise our gap is going to be big even if it happens anytime soon .

I too will be stamping my foot scorpio and pinkslipper and I'm on CD12 so I shall get to stamp first. Although maybe not as my cycles are longish.... DH is away thurs and fri night though (CD erm.. 14 & 15) which could scupper things somewhat if I haven't already missed it (strange pains yesterday but would have been VERY early for me to OV).... but fingers crossed I ov later than that - which I usually do but sods law says.....

my dp was threatening to visit his son this weekend instead of our previously arranged next weekend.i said fine,but youre gonna have to do it in a cup and put it in the fridge for me before you go!sorry if gross

I think ive worked out that i should ovulate around the 25th so when's the best time to concieve, is it before that or after?
Sorry but ive never done this before and im just a bit confused by it all.

Beckle - Before dd arrived in August '05 I was 28 days every month, very clockwork. After dd I didn't relly pay any attention although always seemed to be around the middle to the end of each month. Started ttc in January and since then my cycles have been 38 days long so I've either had a strange two months and added an extra 10 days each time or my AF has been 38 days since dd and I just never realised

Have no idea when I OV either, always get crampy type pains anywhere betwen CD10 and CD15 but that would still be quite early if my cycles are always 38 days so basically I never know when my 'important' time is so try and keep fairly busy most of the month

Sorry about your m/c and sorry your cycles are so irregular. I think it can add to the frustration of ttc. DD only took 3 cycles but I think it helped that I was 28 days and so regular but now I have no idea what my body's doing but I think ttc is a bit of pot luck for everyone anyway IMO. If only we could just click our fingers and be pregnant

2 days before and after. Personally I would BD every day (and I have ) no 13 tonight altho sure it wont make any diff now.. it is lots of fun

fifi - its best to get down to it (so to speak) a few days before you're due to ovulate till the day after... good luck !

if you ovulate around the 25th,you want the sperm there 'waiting' as well as getting there on the 25th,and cover the next or day or two as well, IMO.

so,do it on 24th,25th,26 th and more if you can!

are you certain of when you ovulate?

we bd everyday from day 10-20 to cover it and then the rest of the month is for practise

im sure its the 25th or around then, ive just had a look on fertility friend and put my dates in.
My last period was fairly light though and only lasted 2 days where normally its quite heavy for about 4 days

nine down five to go!
