Daisy - Sorry for the late welcome but good luck with the ttc I have also been ttc since the start of the year and have discovered I have 37 day cycles which has confused me slightly as before they were 28. Not tsure where the extra 10 days came from

Plummymummy - When do you go away? We're going away for the Easter weekend but that's all I have planned at the moment

Hope everyone else is ok. CD20 for me today, think I OV'd on Tuesday and managed to bd but last night I was just too ill to manage it and don't think I'll manage it tonight either. Too unwell to be too upset about it at the moment but I'm sure when AF arrives I'll be kicking myself for not trying harder

It's CD12 for me I think, not been keeping tabs on it to well! We've done a fair amount of bd'ing already. I got a positive OPK today so I will use some preseed tonight. I'm not early testing this month as 2 months in a row I've had a really faint positive just before my period started. I'm also not going to symptom spot as I now know my boobs get sore and I pee loads just before my period starts!

Afternoon all. CD2 so I'm enjoying a few days of caffeine and booze... DP and I went on a date last night, it was lovely and cheered me up about AF. Short cycle, think I ov CD12 (only cycle 3 of TTC, not completely sure of dates yet, don't temp or anything) so not long to wait. How's everyone else?

Sorry about last night Fifisworld - DP also has annoying habit of doing stupid exercise and ending up knackered. I've started giving him the significant dates well in advance and forbidding him from making any excuses!

Hi Goingfor3 - that must have been sad for you. Testing's so tempting, isn't it, I just about managed to resist this month but it was a struggle! Glad I didn't though.

fleacircus, it was dissapointing but it was so faint bith times that I tried not to get my hopes up to much. Sorry to see you on this months thread, I hope you have better luck this month. Having a short cycle is a great advantage!

I'm on cd17 today and just got up (didnt finish work til 7am so I'm excused!) made my usual coffee but couldn't drink it- it's made me feel quite sick. Have slightly sore boobs and tired but only slept for 5 hours so could be down to that..

Surely its far too early for any pg symtoms? They must be in my head? I think I ov'd on cd11. Have also had a dull ache/pulling pain in my LH side for past 2 days.

AF due 31/3 ish

Don't want to get your hopes up daisyboohoo but .. with dd I had really clear symptoms and a BFN on the 2 days after I conceived! (Used count back when I had a BFP) So you never know.

It is an advantage - I think I get two ov opportunities in April, if I'm remembering my dates right! A bit disappointed this month but DP and I were pretty lazy TBH; planning to put our backs into it this month. And off on holiday in just over a week, so looking forward to that.

Daisy - I really hope it does mean you're pg, but try not to get your hopes up too much. I had literally every symptom going in my first TTC month, but wasn't pg. Most symptoms start with implantation, so later; some can be caused by increased progesterone at the point of conception but remember only about 50% of conceptions implant successfully. I don't want to sound like a miserablist but I convinced myself I was pg and then was so sad when I wasn't.

daisy-its unlikely that your baby has even implanted yet,that normally happens around a week after ov.although please keep hopeful and i hated coffee very early on when i was pg

scorpio1 - My periond is due 06/04 if I have a 26 day cycle but it has been between 25 and 28 days. If I haven't started by day 30 I will test. I do feel as though it's never going to happen as it's been four months now and with my other pregnancies I conceived with out any problems.

daisyboohoo - I noticed evey twinge and have stopped symptom spotting. I think day 17 is too early.

goingfor3-i too am ttc dc3,and am expecting it to take a bit longer,purely because of the 'stress' of life with full time studying,two kids, a stepson and a dp.with my other 2 pgs i was pg within 2 months,and this is my 2nd cycle now.things were a bit easier for me then.im trying to remain optimistic and planning other things,like holiday/redecoration to try to keep my mind off it,otherwise i will go insane! im due on my period around 7 april.so,close to you!please dont give up

I think it's probably too early too and I know I should be concentrating on other things!

it's just so unlike me to be off my coffee - usually I cant function without it. I've checked and the milk definately isnt off!

OK I'm gonna go and start on some of my many jobs for today and not think about ttc.

May even try another coffee...

Seems about time to join in again, the boring first 2ww till ovulation is just about over.

Seem to be a lot of endless cycles around at the moment - how do you cope. Mine is too short after I ovulate, but at least the hopes and disapointments come round fast enough.
