Bella - You really do ask them don't you! I really don't know the answer, I'm afraid. I would be inclined to say that if you were having more cervical mucus, it should follow that you would have more nasal mucus, and more bodily fluids in general? But then who knows what the increase in Oestrogen does!!??
I am sure that someone will know the answer though!! It is an interesting thought!! Failing that, google it

Hi everyone

CD18 for me, think I ovulated a few days ago (going by CM) but unfortunately haven't done the deed for about a week. Annoyed that we didn't DTD but DH working long hours and had some other stresses so mind not on the job! Still, hopefully that means my cycles will be shorter which means more chances of conceiving this year.

Bellabear - I also seem to get a blocked nose around ovulation. I hadn't thought about it until I read you get it too!

im CD9 here.i was poorly again and i am still on antibiotics,although i dont feel like i want to die anymore!

ive sort of become quite laid back about ttc since being ill, i think its because im sort of writing off this month.its nice to not feel so under my own pressure, IYSWIM.

Morning scorpio - sorry to hear you're feeling ill.

A quick question for anyone who uses OPKs. Today (CD11) I have what feel like ovulation pains which would be VERY early for me to have them which seems v. unlikely. So, I don't usually start OPKs till about CD14. I just did one and it had no line whatsoever (only a control line). Does anyone know if I had missed the surge how soon does the line disappear completely ? Could it be I missed a positive yesterday and there to be absolutely no trace of hormone today ??

Perhaps its appendicitis instead

I'm not great with OPKs but thought I'd mention that the brand I use (cheap "on call" ebay ones) are a void test if there's only one line. It says a negative test is when there's two lines but the LH measure line is lighter than the control line. It confused the hell out of me at the start as I thought I was always ovulating!

Your brand might have different instructions though.

Slight off subject but does anyone use Virgin Vie lemon body scrub? Well it's fantastic and my thighs feel half the size after using it this morning - will definately help me TTC as I feel much more sexy!

Thanks for the info Lucy - mine are void if no lines.. 1 line just means no hormone detected. will have a go at trying to persuade dh to DTD tonight although given he's working all hours at the mo he may not even be home - sigh.. .was so hopinng I would OV next week as we'll be on hols. Ah well... will just have to see what happens (although am that I would have ov'd this early but you never know it might just be another spanner in the works.)

Ohh top of the list, never been there before!

Wheelybug - I am the same, if I did ovulate last week it's way earlier than normal for me so I'm a bit all over the place! Spose it does mean it keeps me on my toes rather than just knowing the window is from CDX to CDY!

Where are you going on hols? We're trying to book somewhere for first wk of April as CM takes holiday then so will need to take time off work but it'll be the first proper holiday with DD (13 months), we've taken weekends away in the UK but not ventured further. Oh crap, just realised she doesn't have a passport! need to get on the case this wk.

We're going nowhere exciting - just down to Devon. Everytime we fly witwe vow never to take dd on a plane again - we flew with her at new year and so we fancied just getting in the car and driving not too far (am in London). We are going to a cottage with an indoor pool (for dd) and is a farm so has animals (for dd) and bring you croissants in the morning (for all of us ).

Wheelybug your holiday sounds great! Love the indoor pool. How old is your DD? We're thinking of going to the Centreparcs at Penrith (I'm English but live 20 miles south of Glasgow).

Having some weird twinges tonight, not sure if its from over-indulgence at the weekend or maybe ovulation? I felt sure I ovulated last week (only monitoring cm, haven't done OPKs this month).
