Ok so I am bravely attempting to set up a new thread for anyone tTC.
Plug in your stats ...
Share the highs of your journey
Limit the lows - yes it's a challenging time but being negative gets you down.
I'm thinking positivity breeds positivity and positive thinking gets positive results -
It may take some of us a little longer than others ... but does that matter? I think not.

New rules - instead of saying af due ... we say bfp due ...

So here goes ... my stats
Age 38
Cycle 3
Bfp due 14/02

Hi Phase - not long to wait now ... eeek how exciting .... especially if you got bfp 3 years after your last :))
I've been reading today that moderate exercise throughout pg has many benefits to mother and baby ... inc shorter delivery time and getting body back quicker :)))) xxx

I am still marathon training as it is on the horizon now and I have to assume I am not pg until I get a bfp. Can't do us any harm to keep fit and healthy. Still no af here. Is anyone else testing on Sunday? FX for us all.

Hippychic79 · 13/02/2017 20:15

Symptom spot away ... we call it PMA here xxx

Evening ladies!! Just checking in to see if we have any poas'ers yet??!! I went shopping today and couldn't find any raspberry leaf tea, I was so disappointed it was pathetic!!

Anyone doing anything romantic tomorrow?? Xx

bakingmad83 · 13/02/2017 21:36

Evening, hope your weeks have got off to a good start!

Hope you had a lovely weekend away missmagpie :)

Sorry Moo, misread raspberry as raspberry leaf, must just have been remembering it from last time.

Good luck with your marathon mrsb! When is it? I only got to 10Ks, as have dodgy knees, so decided running was doing me more harm than good.

You're right Hippy, exercise in pregnancy is a great idea. I walked for 90mins daily during my last pregnancy, which I think helped me avoid putting on too much weight while pregnant and I never had any pregnancy related aches or pains - though could have been luck on both fronts! I was back out walking within a few days of delivery too, this time with a pram, albeit walking like a cowboy after forceps :)

Dollydaydream2829 · 13/02/2017 21:42

Good luck Rose & Phase - hope you both get your BFPs this cycle! Would be lovely to test and get one on Valentine's day!
My BFP is due on 5th March! I'm CD 9 just now - was planning on DTD last night but nightshift tires me out so much! Gearing up for FW!
I've never tried raspberry tea but I do like to keep fit and go to the gym regularly. I've let it slip since Xmas though and struggling to get back into it! TTC and be the healthiest I can be should defo be a motivator!

sarahboro1 · 13/02/2017 21:43

Do you think it helped you during the birth too baking? Xx

mrsbarnettsbaby · 13/02/2017 23:31

My marathon is April 23rd. Scary stuff! Not run that far yet - ran 12 today in the sunshine. Can defer til next year if necessary although I'd rather not.

Hippychic79 · 14/02/2017 05:56

Happy Valentine's Day xxx

Hi Sarahb - reference raspberry leaf tea - neals yard sell it loose I suspect you'll only get it in proper health shops or online ... if only there was a one stop shop (preferably a discount store) for all your tTC needs :)))
Reference romance tonight - I'm cooking dp steak and chips ... and hoping af is gone so we can practice for fw ... fx :)))) xxx

morning ladies - haven't had the chance to pop by much, have some home issues going on right now. i have, however just had a quick scan over all your PMA for a pick me up - god i need to give myself a big fat PMA slap about the face! will keep my negative nancy vibe to myself and will hopefully start to enjoy my 2WW! take care until iv turned my frown upside down (cheesy eh) and Flowers to all xxx

bakingmad83 · 14/02/2017 07:21

Morning!

Sending hugs Bella, hope things sort themselves out and you're able to get your PMA back.

Sarah - I'd like to think the exercise did help in labour. I didn't have a particularly easy one, as threw up throughout it and ended up dehydrated and drained, which is probably why I needed forceps delivery. Know every pregnancy and labour is different, so hoping for a sickness free labour next time round :)

No romance here, as DH on nights and full of cold, but enjoy your evenings ladies!

Hippychic79 · 14/02/2017 07:22

Morning Bella - you may be struggling with your PMA right now but you certainly made me grin with that post so thank you. And hey - just cuz this is a PMA thread doesn't mean we can't have a rant now and again :))). Hope your home issues start to resolve themselves / improve. Flowers for you too xxx

OP posts:
Hippychic79 · 14/02/2017 07:25

Awww Baking - like labour doesn't look hard enough without being sick throughout ... i will see if I can find any tips in my new book which may help prevent this from happening to you again and let you know :))
Sorry to hear your full of cold - although I've read that can be a pg symptom:)) enjoy tv domination whilst dh is on nights xxx

Morning guys!
Sent home from work this morning due to horrid back/ leg pain. I couldn't feel my legs! So strange. Hot water bottle is sorting me out as is being at home. I think stress is catching up with me!

bakingmad83 · 14/02/2017 09:10

Thanks Hippychic, but it's DH who's full of cold - man flu :)

I think sickness is sometimes your body's response to pain, but I know other people who suffered badly with sickness in first labour and were fine subsequently, so hopefully I'll be one of them! But any tips gratefully received thanks!

Oh no Salem, is it possibly sciatica? I've had that a couple of times, pain went from lower back, through my bottom and down legs to my toes and had a tingly sensation and a bit numb. Hope some heat and rest helps whatever it is!

Hippychic79 · 14/02/2017 09:30

Morning Salem - sorry to hear about your back and leg pain ... sounds like a nice hot bath followed by a good DVD could be the order for your day .... Hope you feel better soon xxx

Awww sorry baking - didn't realise dh had man flu ... that's worse for us than actually having it ourselves 😂 Hope he gets better soon.
I'll let you know if I find any tips but like you say hopefully you won't need them xxx

OP posts:
SalemTheTeenageWitch · 14/02/2017 10:22

I am thinking it is a touch of Sciatica baking. My hot water bottle has really helped actually. What you have just described is exactly how I felt this morning. It seems to have more or less gone away now. I feel a bit guilty for going home from work now but it still is uncomfortable.

Thanks Hippy I am going to have a nice hot bath later on. Feeling so hungry today as well!

Glad we DTD last night as I don't know if I could manage tonight haha!

Hippychic79 · 14/02/2017 10:45

I wouldn't feel guilty Salem - sounds like they get a lot out of you as it is and so do not feel bad ... enjoy your day :)) Nice to hear you got a bit last night ... I'm keeping my fx for some action later but af still lingering so might have to wait another day or two :(
Just been baby bombed at work .... never gets any easier does it to say congratulations without thinking ... why isn't it me :))
Xxx

Hi everyone sorry for the late update, bfn this morning I tested about 7am then went back to bed as I have a day off and only really woke up an hr ago. So groggy today don't usually sleep so lateBlush
Don't know what to make of my bfn as I'm just not feeling myself at the mo and my boobs seem to have a life of there own at the moment. I think AF is either due tomorrow or the day after. I do still have spotting so that's not making me overly hopeful but I think I have to wait till af until I can drown my sorrows! Wine Anyway I'm off out for the day with DH. Hope you all have a lovely Valentine's Day FlowersFlowersFlowers

Hippychic79 · 14/02/2017 12:32

Sorry to hear about your bfn Rose ... I'm gutted although you're not out till af shows I know how annoying a bfn is. I was expecting to see lots of positives on this thread by now so all I can say is the PMA is building and I think we're gonna have a wave of them soon.
Enjoy your day out with dh - I'm sure he'll spoil you rotten xxx

Aww Rose, I had a feeling about you! I'm sorry to hear you got a BFN. Like hippy, I fully believe we're in for a shed load of BFPs next month onwards!
Apart from phase, is there anyone left to POAS or doing it within the next couple days? I lose track so quick on this thread!

On a completely unrelated note, how do people get the bold letters or the strikes through words on this?! I'm such a dumbass when it comes to technology Blush
