Ok so I am bravely attempting to set up a new thread for anyone tTC.

Limit the lows - yes it's a challenging time but being negative gets you down.
I'm thinking positivity breeds positivity and positive thinking gets positive results -
It may take some of us a little longer than others ... but does that matter? I think not.

New rules - instead of saying af due ... we say bfp due ...

Sarah Is it sad that I squealed internally at that card? It's so cute! I would totally send that to my DH but I don't know if I'd be able to hid the fact I was POAS!

Charley If AF has not arrived next by Saturday, I will definitely test. I have got no sticks to pee on, I stupidly used one on CD 17 when I'd got a positive on my OPK (don't know what I was thinking, cringe!). I am toying with buying some off Ammazzonn but is that tempting fate? I have Ammazzonn prime anyway, so if temptation did give in, I could order one quickly. I'm glad we can order online, I would be mortified if I had to buy a POAS in person!

Aw Sarah that's so sweet! I would definitely get it! I'd love to have something special but I know I'd only be able to keep it to myself for a day max so I should really have something ready but don't know what!

Salem I deliberately go to a boots tather just picked up pee sticks from Asda just in case someone sees me. Salem I think waiting until Saturday is definitely sensible..... although this is coming from the woman who started at about 7dpo last month Blush definitely better not having in the house if you want to hold off testing.

I love those announcements! I think on FB (I don't post very often) I would just want to share a picture of DH & I holding our scan picture with an excited face!
Charley that baby grow has made me want to start looking at baby clothes. Oh dear! Has anyone else made any rather premature choices about what they will buy for their LO when they get pg?!

I went into boots to get my pg tests, funny thing was I bought tampons at the same time as I didn't know which way it was gonna go!! Poor cashier must have thought I was bonkers!!!

Haha Sarah I'll have to do the same this week as I'm out of tampons and FRERs too!

With my cousin being pregnant, I guessed before anyone knew so she has been talking to me a lot and we've been talking about how we are both similar in that we like clean soft looking things so lots of white, cream and plain baby grows etc. I'm not a fan of babies in bright clothes or jeans etc (hope I don't offend anyone). She was sending oral and furniture pics etc too which makes me want to start researching but maybe that's a little crazy??? Confused

Charley I agree, I think babies in jeans is a rather strange sight. They must be so uncomfortable for the little ones (sorry if you like jeaned babies!).
I've already started researching. Ridiculous, I know. But my excuse is that, as the main earner, I need to know how much I need to save. Mat pay looks terrible so I'm not anticipating that.

Where is Hippy today? Hope you are ok Hippy xxx

Yeh I'm the same! Im married but we have separate finances still. I've got a large amount saved for an eventual house deposit so I know I'm fine but still panic just knowing that will go down. I've decided I really want a next to me chicco crib which is about £200 already! My spare rooms pretty awful and has some damp so me and dh have said in our Easter time off we're going to gut it out, strip and treat the walls etc. Hopefully we will have some news by then and be able to plan to buy mini furniture as replacements Wink
I think hippy was busy with work, I kind of wish I'd done more with my Sunday haha!

Happy Sunday everyone hope you have all had a nice weekend! Can't believe it's Sunday night already :(

I had a spare hour when oh was watching the football so I did a quick skim and I think our imminent bfps due this week are dolly, charley, salem and hippy! - fx for you ladies! :)
Then the following week rose and itsjustaphase then towards the end of Feb is magpie, 2ducks, AJE84 - fx for you all!
And sweet, baking, sarah and myself are are eagerly awaiting our Feb fw - let's do this ladies!

Sorry if I've missed anyone or got anyone's dates wrong! We've also had a few who have dropped off the chat so sorry if I haven't included you and you are still watching / reading.

Myself and oh have had a productive weekend gearing up for Feb fw - conceive plus, more opks, pre conception his and hers vitamins, basal thermometer and raspberry leaf tea all purchased! Feb fw here I come!!

Wow moo you've been busy! Sounds very productive and dh sounds very supportive! Thanks for making the list too! I love the plaques! They are seriously cute. I'be got loads of storage boxes lying around for the wedding and I'm tempted to make a secret baby one Blush have you got a way to tell dh or does he test with you?

Flippin' heck I can't believe it is Monday tomorrow! A new week = a new hope for us all. Let's get those BFPs appearing! Just think, this time next year we could all be parents/parents to be!

I love those babygros you posted and am v tempted to purchase one! I get up an hour before him and he's still in bed when I leave for work but I promised him I'll wake him when I get the bfp. It would be lovely to give him one of those by way of announcement!
Yes I love your baby box idea - you should do that and start picking up bits and pieces.
It's hard not to get carried away but I'm a firm believer that of you want something you should visualise it and you'll get it - so visualising your little baby in a gorgeous babygro or cot or pram can only help us to achieve our end goal right?!

Totally Moo! I love visualising things, it makes them seem more achievable? For example, I envisaged myself eating a nice slice of cake for lunch and voila, I went out and got myself one hehe!!!

Sarah - we got the tesco conception duo (30 for him and 30 for me - we got 3 packets as they are on 3 for 2 but hoping we won't need 3 months supply!) A friend who has a 1yo dc conceived the first month they took them - after 6 months trying. This will be our 6th cycle so fx for the same result! Pregnacare have a similar one but it was twice the price. We did a comparison and they have virtually the same. This ttc lark is expensive!

Loving all the PMA!!! I may just order something in the hope it happens. I love all the visualisation ideas. I drake a folic acid and a seven seas preconception (also when I remember Blush).

I don't know why but I seem so chilled out this week. Normally stressing and peeing on everything by now! I do have really sore nipples that feel like they are on fire and very veiny boobs but that is about it and my boobs do tend to get sore before my period. Right now I feel like if my period comes on Friday I won't have a totally break down this month.... no idea why I'm chilled but I hope it lasts! Anyone have any plans this week? I feel like works going to be mad Hmm
