Greedy - I spy you! (I've been looking for you all day.... and suspect you didn't want to be found so I'll slink off again but not before saying that you're on my mind)

Hello Lottie having a really boring afternoon and can?t find any lively threads to follow! How?re the plans for the Spain trip coming along? Hope you have a lovely dinner out tonight. Liking the sound of your testing plans, remember, the test I got my BFP on was the very first test I bought when we started TTC! (cheapies don?t count ? they are like snacking between meals ? one of my favourite pass times at the mo! Keeping my fingers crossed for you too, I had very little EWCM when I conceived. By the way, I?m convinced I?ll have a girl too.

Where?s my WAG friend Ready?! Whose been upsetting you petal? Nice to get a Valentine?s pressie, I got a card so that was good going for my DH.

Minxi ? hope you feel much better soon.

Mum03 ? sorry to hear about AF, hope it?s not and that you feel much better soon too.

Honeyapple ? hello how are you? I?m getting a bit excited that I might have you to talk to on the Oct thread (sorry if that?s annoying) fingers crossed. Don?t mean to get your hopes up too high but one of the things ?different? I noticed when I got my BFP was being hot and my face burning up, particularly in the evenings after OV. The boobs & nips sound promising too.

Angelfire ? how amazing about the osteopath!! Hope he?s right.

Iwillbe ? many of us have been through what you and DH are experiencing, it?s the gun to their head thing that makes it hard for them I think. Not that it is easy for us either, it certainly isn?t. Hopefully he?ll suddenly realise that more effort means more chance of reward, that?s what happened with us and it really relived all the pressure on me.

Afternoon!
Hi mrsmsjnr- i would LOVE to join you and greedy on the october thread.
how are you? I read somewhere you had a bit of spotting? hope it has stopped. It is very common in early PG- as i am sure you know- but worrying none the less. You are due a scan soon too?
I am desperate to do a test of course, but everytime i've done one in the last couple of months, AF began a few hours later! I will wait till tommorrow- see what my temp is like, and then maybe do it. I only have one test at home, so would rather not waste it.
Havent noticed any cramps today- still feeling a bit flushed.

Osteopath saying you are PG! That is very weird- and then to say it's a girl! not sure i approve of that... I mean you didnt visit a palm reader by mistake did you?

Doesnt viagara make the man go on and on and on and on and on and on... without crossing the finishing line? not ness what you want when TTCing? Or did i make this up????

MrsMcJnr · 15/02/2007 16:26

Sounds like you are busy lady Lottie. Hope that you have something else to think about too

Honeyapple ? much better today thanks. The spotting is now just tinged cm (kind of orange?!) but scary all the same as you say. I?m having an early scan next Friday but it seems like an age away still. If you decide to test tomorrow, I hope you get what you want. I got my BFP on 12dpo but for me that was a day or two after AF was due.

Are you all watching Miracles in the Womb tonight? Channel 4, 9pm. It?s meant to be amazing.

greedyforbabies · 15/02/2007 16:27

OMG honeyapple! - i am getting v. excited for you! but then i was for mum03 too, so maybe i should contain myself (reaaly sorry about af mum03).

i know what you mean about the osteopath honeyapple. i would NEVER dream of saying that to one of my patients, not very professional in my opinion. is she a friend too angelfire?

having said that.........i am still sticking with my predictions for you this month ready!.

greedyforbabies · 15/02/2007 16:29

must remember to watch that programme, sounds good!

lottie and mrs...are you both moving to spain then? anywhere near each other? lottie could become your spanish chooster mrs!

Well i think i am 12dpo today- so who knows. Fertilityfriend reckons i am 10 dpo- with Af not due till monday- so am a bit confused with it all. I usually have a 27 day cycle- which would mean af tommorrow. I think FF thought i oved later than usual. But I had a positive OPK the day before i think i oved. I dunno. I am trying not to over analyise it all- and failing.

honeyapple · 15/02/2007 16:39

Hi greedy- how are you?

Mrsmcjnr- meant to say- being PG takes FOREVER! Get used to waiting! In kent you dont get a scan until 20 weeks! Think i will prob end up paying for an earlier one.
Imagine being an elephant- i think their gestation is 2 yrs!
Actually i really loved being PG- but at the end it is quite uncomfy and you are so desperate to see the baby you've been lugging around- and also to stop people phoning and asking if you've had it yet!

Mmmm, i'm going to have a fiddle with it....

honeyapple · 15/02/2007 17:06

It appears that Temp and CM overide the opk result. Nevermind!

What shall we talk about? Lets have a heated debate! Who's gonna start?

greedyforbabies · 15/02/2007 18:19

lets talk about how stupid i am staying at work alone with a male patient who i truly thought was going to attack me! he has just gone and i am sooooooooo relieved! he grabbed my hand at one point and said "come on, you and i are going to spend some time together"......weird hey? there is normally someone here with me, but today everyone left early and it happened to be the day i got this weird bloke! thankfully my next 2 patients are women!

honeyapple · 15/02/2007 19:19

Greedy- thats horrible! Are these people referred to you? Hope he didnt shake you up too much. Are you still at work now?

greedyforbabies · 15/02/2007 19:23

yes i am still at work now! just had a normal patient so i feel much better! i do get to see all sorts of people! some nicer (and more nrmal) than others!
only one more patient and then i am off home to a lovely dinner and some crap telly!
good luck for a high temp in the morning! i will be watching.........actually i wont cos we are off to the zoo tomorrow.........i will log on as soon as i get home to see whats happening!

honeyapple · 15/02/2007 19:43

Greedy- Have a lovely evening- ER tonight- hurrah! (God I'm sad)
Have fun at the zoo- which one?

fettle · 15/02/2007 19:58

Hi All

sorry to hear about AF Mum - I was really hoping for you.

Honey you're still sounding hopeful - good luck for a high tom too!!

Sorry, I've not been around much - I have been reading, just not posting much on any threads - not sure why, just retreating into myself as I get through these first few weeks I think.

All going as well as it can at this stage - feel awful anyway!

What's all this talk of Viagra?!! I spend all day at work in this area, I don't want to spend my evenings reading about it too!!!

Greedy, scary about your patient - you really shouldn't put yourself in that kind of situation - very worried for you. Have a fantastic time at the zoo - I finally had enough of work today, so decided at just before 5 to take tomorrow off, so I'm going to spend it with my lovely DD. Got the PIL coming tom late afternoon, so hopefully that will be good. Must try and get DD's hair cut tomorrow, as last time I saw MIL, she told me it was getting too long. I think it is lovely, but it could do with tidying up I suppose!

Watching those DPOs with interest and waiting for the ov Ready & Minxi - hope you are still enjoying yourselves!!

take care all
x

mum03 · 15/02/2007 20:24

Well af decided to arrive very slowly today, by lunchtime I was getting the "could that have just been implantation bleed, could fertility friend have been right and i am only 12dpo....." thoughts, but now it is definitely a light period, and I expect full-on tomorrow. So this is cd1 rather than cd26, cd2 tomorrow, only one more week before shag time again!

However having said that dh is now re-thinking the ttc! Originally he said, he did not want us to concieve before march because of all the changes that are happening with us at the moment. But I pursaded him that it would take a while anyway. Now he has said that he is no longer sure about us having another baby until things are more settled in our lives. I can understand what he is saying, but I will be 40 next year, and don't want to be leaving it much later. We are in the process of him changing career, he is re-training and will not be ready to start his new career until September 08! Of course that is IF he managed to get a job immediately! So am I supposed to wait until I am nearly 41 before trying again? MEN!

Is anyone watching that programme- Miracles in the Womb -is interesting - but a bit freaky - or is it just me? I think its the weird voice -overs of twins talking in rhyme in the womb?

I have a confession everyone... I felt very sick last night and my boobs felt sore... so this morning I tested... Obviously it was negative...and sickness was probably down to the horseradish creamed potatoes I made with Fillet Beef!

I got in my head that I had classic pregnancy symptoms and maybe I had ovulate much earlier than realised..

What is wrong will me... Please someone come to my house and extract my pregnancy tests and post them back to me one at a time when my period is actually due!

Yes I'm a nut case!

seaside72 · 15/02/2007 23:33

lottie - Glad you turned over - I did too just after my post - watched the end of The Verdict instead (have caught a few other snatches throughout the week) - so wanted to to think t was more celeb rubbish - but ashamed to say I found it quite interesting and provocative. Even my DH (who writes - sometimes for TV- and who is sooooo cynical) was interested!!

rahrah - sorry about your test but don't beat yourself up about doing it now - I honestly think it must be a bit like an addiction - once you have done a few you want to do more - personally I have only ever done one in my life and I as much as I can't wait to do one I never have any evidence or motive to make it worthwhile even thinking about! - Wasn't it you who gave the 51% at 10DPO statistic on Tuesday !!
Hang in there

rahrah1 · 16/02/2007 00:01

Yes it was me ...hang my head in shame...
