Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We like it when the grads stick around. No question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Ah sorry loz - not out yet though!!

LondonJem · 14/10/2016 13:17

Sorry loz hope AF stays away

MrsLoz · 14/10/2016 13:28

It wasn't a FRER and still no sign of AF so not fully ruling myself out yet!

Starmist · 14/10/2016 14:00

I'm so sorry Jem Flowers it is so crap & unfair.

Keeping everything crossed for you Loz

After having a crying meltdown this morning I was trying to think positive & I checked when the next fertile time would be & I called DH & I asked if we could both take some time off work then so we'd be less tired & stressed. He didn't sound very impressed with the idea. It's times like this I don't know why I bother.

InspectorPenguin · 14/10/2016 14:26

I'm so sorry Jem. I was so hopeful for you this month. I'm sorry if we fed your hopes on here and made this morning even worse. If I could wave a wand and magic you your BFP I honestly would Flowers Cake

Sorry also to you MrsLoz and Star. What shit news just before the weekend. There's not much I can say but we all feel your pain and are here for rants and moans and general sadness sharing should you feel like it.

Alice your cycle sounds like it's fucking you over a bit at the moment. Taking a breather can work wonders sometimes and I hope it does the trick for you Flowers

Welcome IsThis. I'm glad your scan showed ovulation took place - that's one big tick in the box! Sounds like your docs are moving quickly and effectively down the treatment route though which is great. Clomid and an HSG should give you a massive boost (isn't there anecdotal evidence that lots of BFPs happen after an HSG?). Wishing you all the best and hope joining the thread helps you with your journey.

Skipper your Lake District trip sounds wonderful. Perfect environment for chilling, enjoying each other's company and un-stressed DTD. Hope you have a fab time and don't get rained on!

Kwik hope your itching clears up soon. Agree that making the GP appointment is best way to get it to disappear. Have you had your acupuncture yet? They may be able to suggest something to help...

Hep, you can start counting cycle days now! Must be a relief to feel like normal service is resumed. I hope AF is brief and painless and moves on quickly so you can get straight back onto the baby-making.

Any news from FXSkip, Kav, Snarky or others?

kwick · 14/10/2016 15:00

Welcome isthismummy!
What is a HSG?

Alice do what feels right for you but know that we will miss you. LSFX!!!

jem Flowers I am so so sorry. I had everything crossed for you and really thought this was your month. Fricking heartburn.

holzyb20 · 14/10/2016 15:10

Hi can I join?

Well I'm currently on cycle day 78 all hpts have been negative last period 30th july-3rd august. I had 2/3 lots of tiny amounts of spotting only lasting a day and barley there at all. I don't normally use opks but when I missed my first period I started to use them and have not ovulated since

I have been getting bad headaches, and very tired dont matter how much i sleep i still need more, last week I started getting very nauseous I was heaving to be sick but wasn't actually sick (I'm never sick or never normally feel sick either) my boobs feel achey and have noticed small thin purple veins on my breasts which i have never seen before.my big blue veins are normally noticeable anyway as I have big boobs but even they look bolder

I was pretty much convinced I weren't pregnant until I started feeling sick and now these random purple veins

Have a internal scan boomed 26th October

I'm sooooo confused

sk1pper · 14/10/2016 15:30

Hi holzy - can I ask what your stats are? Like how long TTC, age etc?

Sounds unusual... Have you recently come off some form of contraception?

LondonJem · 14/10/2016 15:31

starmist they just don't get it Sad I think very few men feel it as emotionally as we do. I said to DH I wish we could do one month each - I think just one cycle of them having a uterus would give them a wake up call!

penguin - goodness not at all. I completely worked myself up! If anything coming here reminded me to err on the side of caution. Just grateful to have the support here from people who know exactly how it feels.

Starmist · 14/10/2016 16:51

Welcome IsThisMummy. Good news that you're ovulating. Hope clomid does the trick for you.

Geeup good luck for your scan.

Sorry you're having a tough time Alice. Please look after yourself Flowers xx

Skipper enjoy your time away.

Kwick sorry you're still itchy. Keep meaning to say that I work in HR as well, it's so busy & stressful, really not enjoying it at the moment.

Hep glad AF is here, hope it's okay.

Welcome Holzy cd78 you poor thing. Hope the scan can give you some answers.

Jem Oh my god. DH is on such a different planet. I just said "aren't you impressed I haven't had a meltdown that AF has arrived" (I did have a meltdown but not in front of him so he wouldn't know).
He looked at me really puzzled & asked why.
I was like "period = no baby = another month wasted"
He still looked confused. He hadn't figured that out. Words fail me.

kwick · 14/10/2016 16:54

Welcome hol!!
Sounds like you are having a hard & confusing time. Not all BFP are detected by HPTs.
I am pleased you have a scan booked - that will most likely show what is what.

LondonJem · 14/10/2016 18:47

Oh starmist Sad he needs to get better at that.

I've got a large glass of Wine in my brand new wine glasses I treated myself to. DH has been out to sort tea and we have runny cheese.

Chin up and crack onto cycle 11

Thanks for your support today ladies Flowers

sk1pper · 14/10/2016 19:17

Aww girls massive hugs to you all right now, threads on a bit of a downer right now. At least it's the weekend (for those who don't work) - wine sounds good, not sure whether to risk having a glass or not, ovulate in 2 days.

InspectorPenguin · 14/10/2016 19:27

Have the wine!!!

MouseLove · 14/10/2016 19:32

I don't even drink and I want a wine! Hmm
Have a wine, at this point I think anything to relax us all will do us wonders. Lol

MrsG280516 · 14/10/2016 19:38

Have the wine Wine I've got a nice cold glass in my hand right now! Friday definitely calls for wine.

Pugmummy87 · 14/10/2016 20:21

Jem so sorry. Our bodies like to fuck us about and get our hopes up and then AF arrives.

Alice sorry you are having a tough time. Do what feels right for you.

Welcome isthismummy sounds as though things are moving in a positive direction for you.

Good luck at your scan geeup fx it shows a nice juicy follies ready to pop.

Kwick I second making a GP appt to get that itchy rash looked at. Sod's law will say it improves on the day of the appt!

starmist I agree with Jem men just don't seem to get it.

My body is confusing me too. Cd 24 today. Sore boobs which is my usual 2ww symptom although no idea when I ovulated as due to being ill a couple of weeks ago I didn't use my monitor or really temp. Today I've had an abundance of ewcm which is really unusual for me. Best dtd tonight just in case I'm ovulating late.

EJ2009 · 14/10/2016 23:41

As i was sat here feeling a bit down i started to have a giggle to myself as i realised i no longer use days and months to map my time and life but menstrual cycles do that job now. Before i start my day i stick a thermometer in my mouth, swallow some folic acid and collect my own urine to poke a stick into it. I check my knickers with interest and my dh's sweet nothings are now "so... i hear you are ovulating"

sk1pper · 15/10/2016 07:21

Pug - is it common to ovulate late when sick? You've just made me realise, I haven't been ill for 14 months. That is a record for me - I'm normally prone to colds and flu because I'm asthmatic. Must be all those multi vitamins.

EJ - yep, sounds about right!

I'm seriously thinking of ditching Ovia, it seems to think I've ovulated already but I haven't had a positive OPK yet, and temp still hasn't risen over predicted base line. I'm getting bored of using three apps anyway.

MrsLoz · 15/10/2016 08:58

Well did a Superdrug early response test this morning and it was a BFN.

CD 33 for me, no sign of AF so think it must just be my body getting back to normal.

Wish I had let myself have that wine last night now Sad

kwick · 15/10/2016 09:01

sk1pper I hope you had the wine!!!

pug I made a GP appointment - next Friday. Grin

EJ LOL Grin

Starmist · 15/10/2016 09:17

Sorry Loz Sad

sk1pper · 15/10/2016 09:59

Sorry Loz Flowers

Currently ovulating on the M25. I informed OH I had serious ovulation pain and he's like "next service station?"

Eww...even I draw the line at service station sex.

LondonJem · 15/10/2016 10:13

Sorry loz Flowers hope you're alright

Hahaha skipper service station loos could be a new thread low Wink

Pug I ovulated late back on cycle 6 or 7 after being ill.

I've also noticed that about being less ill this year! My nails have also been in good nick. Every cloud and all that.. Hmm

MouseLove · 15/10/2016 10:14

Sk1pper, get it done. It could be fun!! Haha

I'm CD30 today. Nowt happening apart from my mind going a tad crazy. However I'm going out to get some new winter clothes with my mum later. DH is off out this afternoon. We had a bit of a tiff last night about my worries, I was sooooo bloated and uncomfortable yesterday I could have cried. He just told me to go to the doctors. I told him they would laugh at me. I'm just bloated. We made up this morning in the best way lol
