Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We like it when the grads stick around. No question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Hey hepkestrel AF got me yesterday so next one will be due 15th Nov. Thanks for the updates

MouseLove · 17/10/2016 09:28

Sk1pper sounds like what I've been experiencing. Almost kinda like an AF uncomfortable feeling. I've been like that for most of the month.

Thanks Kwick I'll have a look at one. I'm guessing you can buy these things in most supermarkets? I'm sure I've seen some kind of test in my local home bargains haha. I suppose I should look and see how much these things cost. I'm expecting £20+ right?

sk1pper · 17/10/2016 09:52

mouse - how soon in your cycle did you get these symptoms? The pain has me doubling over at times, we're meant to be doing a 9 mile walk today.

What time do you plan on getting your FRER too? Good luck xx

MouseLove · 17/10/2016 10:33

Probably about 2 weeks after stopping my pill I was convinced it was AF coming. I think It was the same time my back went bad. I'm still convinced my AF is coming. It certainly feels like it the last few days. Today it's reallllly uncomfortable. I just hope it's not something more serious.

I think I'll get my test Friday. And test first wee on Saturday. Of course I don't think I'll get that far.

I hope your pains go away soon Sk1pper and stop bothering you!! Maybe it's a good pain? I have no clue. FX.

WantingBaby1 · 17/10/2016 11:10

I wouldn't worry Mouse, I expect the feelings you're experiencing are just your body reacting to the lack of hormones if you've recently come off the pill. It took me 5 weeks to get a period after coming off the pill, and now I'm into my first properation cycle I don't have any clue when AF will arrive! All totally normal.

MouseLove · 17/10/2016 13:28

Hoping so Wanting it's just frustrating for this waiting game. I didn't expect the pill to cause me this much discomfort.

MouseLove · 17/10/2016 14:52

Argh!!! I googled. Somebody slap my hands. Loads of people have cramps during the first few weeks of pregnancy!!! Shock

FXSkip · 17/10/2016 15:25

Hello everyone! I'm back Smile

No good news I'm afraid, other than that I am now 11 weeks post mc, and (whispers cautiously) I might have almost stopped bleeding. again. But this time it might be for real. OR I am about to have a huge gush of clots (sorry, TMI) in line with previous false alarms. Who the f*ck knows. Anyway, needless to say I'm not upduffed, and I haven't a clue when next AF is actually due. Maybe christmas? Congrats on your AF Hep - get dtd asap!!

I've been seeing an acupuncturist for a couple of sessions so far, she's helping me with restoring my blood and specialises in fertility so its good to have a sympathetic, pro-active ear.

I've been catching up - I had to go right back to the non-urgent poo chat (I'm there with ya chaps) and mouse you mentioned aaaages ago about a shared amazon account - are you aware that you can hide some orders? I do this as I also share an account with some family.

Anyway, thats all I can remember from epic catch-up - Jem I was sooo ready for a BFP from you, I am sorry to hear this wasn't your month. I have put positive vibes out into the universe for you.

MouseLove · 17/10/2016 15:35

Welcome back FXSkip!! And no I didn't realise you could hide orders!!!!! Omg. I might have to look into that. Would help a lot.

WantingBaby1 · 17/10/2016 15:40

Mouse do a test if you're hopeful! I did quite a few waiting for my first period after coming off the pill as my hormones were ALL over the place. Can't hurt!

sk1pper · 17/10/2016 15:43

Mouse - don't google stuff. Ever. I went to the pharmacy here, they gave me Buscopan and said it would cure anything abdominal related. I've just got back from a 9 mile trek, and the pain is worse than ever. Now taken some heavy painkillers and about to get in the bath. No idea what it is. Mine doesn't feel like AF though, are you sure yours feels that way? AF is normally a dull, wave of aching and this is shady stabbing pains.

Fxskip - good to see you again, I hope your bleeding has stopped for good this time. Xx

MouseLove · 17/10/2016 15:58

Hmmm Sk1pper maybe you're getting a tummy bug. That doesn't sound like I have. Mine started out like bubbling gassy aches. Then tummy ache like I was getting AF, then uncomfortable feeling like I needed a morning wee and now it's back to AF type tummy ache. Nothing too painful though. At first I confused them with hunger pains.

HepKestrel · 17/10/2016 16:27

welcome back fxskip !

it was a false alarm on the AF front from me. (just random spotting) So I am also back to waiting.....

Am FUCKING FED UP OF WAITING!!!!!

In other news, stress is starting for various house sorting before kitchen/dining room renovations..... but am on week 2 of c25k. Am trying to distract my self by getting fit.

Notyetthere · 17/10/2016 16:51

Mouse - Yes it is true that you can get cramps during early weeks of pregnancy as the uterus is starting to adjust. In my case, all pregnancy symptoms were the same as AF symptoms. I had the achey boobs, cramps, constant weeing at night, gassy right before I got the BFP. The same symptoms for AF so you can't actually tell until you POAS or your temperatures stay high for days after AF was due.

Today I am on 7dpo with a predicted AF date of 25th Oct. I don't think I have the patience to wait till AF day. FF says I should test 29th Oct! That is not going to happen!

Notyetthere · 17/10/2016 17:02

Fxskip - Welcome back! 11 week post-mc. That is a long time. How far along were you if don't mind me asking? I bled for about 5 days during my mc at 5+5. I probably had lost it before this date though as HCG levels were very low at the time and symptoms had disappeared 6 days prior. I then proceeded to temp and OPKs (cheap ones from the internet). I temperature and opk confirmed ovulation on cd18 so now the waiting game. Hope your AF shows her face way before xmas.

Dixiechick1991 · 17/10/2016 18:04

I'm out for this month I think. AF came this morning very lightly with no warnings, no pain no cramps.
Oh well.

kwick · 17/10/2016 18:50

Sorry eva Flowers

mouse Amazon often has good FRER deals

fxskip I am so sorry it is still going on. Good that you are seeing an acupuncturist... I still have not had the chance to make an appointment, let alone go....

sk1pper could it be your appendix? GO SEEK MEDICAL ASSISTANCE!!!!

hep I hear you. The wait for AF after MC was eternal and then fricking painful. How many weeks has it been?

Sorry dixie Flowers

MouseLove · 17/10/2016 20:39

Sorry Dixiechick1991 to hear about that :-(
Hep are you sure you're no preggers??
Notyetthere My temps are all over the show and mostly low, another doubt that I'm not preggers but waiting for AF. I know this week will drag.

Im at the doctors tomorrow about my back/hips/old lady joints, might see if they will give me a few sticks to use at the weekend. I feel like Saturday is a good day to wait until. Funeral tomorrow, at my parents wednesday night, beautician thursday night, nothing friday night.... If AF really isn't here by Saturday it gives me a few days to cry about a BFN and if its a BFP then I can find out with DH together.

BUT... I really think AF is on her way. Even though my cramps have eased off tonight it just feels too much like I'm getting my period.

Dixiechick1991 · 17/10/2016 21:22

Well after a day where I thought AF was here I've had literally nothing for the past 4/5 hours so don't know whether it was some spotting or if it'll kick in tomorrow.
To be honest if I hadn't been counting days and thought hmm today is supposed to be AF day I wouldn't have even noticed the spotting it was that light!

No idea what's going on with my body.

Musicgrrl · 17/10/2016 21:30

Hi everyone - I've been taking a bit of a break but thought I'd check back in.

Mouse - you haven't been temping long right? Your temps might be high for you and you just don't have the pre ovulation temps to use as a reference point. You're not out until AF shows!

Jem so sorry about AF arriving. I was like you last cycle. AF was late and my temps were super high. It has actually taken 6 days after AF for my temps to come back down to normal levels and AF has lasted over a week with spotting. All unusual for me so I was wondering if I had a chemical. I had been testing though and got BFNs so it was probably just my body playing cruel tricks on me!

Hep good work on the fitness!

LondonJem · 17/10/2016 21:40

Hello fxskip good to see you! How did you find acupuncture? Hope you're getting back on track

Oh hep what an arse Sad hope it doesn't keep you waiting much longer. Perhaps the spotting is early signs of it to come

Sorry Dixie Cake

Thanks music it's so so hard when your body plays tricks on you like that. I was fully convinced, planning everything, just waiting for a test to confirm what I already 'knew'. You would think 11 months in I would know better Hmm

Period clearing off now so boring bit of cycle until the opks come out again. The sense of deja vu continues...

EJ2009 · 17/10/2016 21:43

Im having a down day.

I had af type pains earlier but im only 4dpo so cant pretend its a symptom. Just dreading a bfn in 10 days time.

MouseLove · 17/10/2016 21:45

Music no I haven't. I started on CD19 and my temps have been up and down literally every day. I had a MASSIVE spike on CD21 and then back down, and its been back up the last few days. So of course I'm not really listing to that so much. Cramps have been on and off tonight, with little twinges of ouch pain, still got my (sorry TMI) non-urgent Diarrhoea and I'm gassy - i almost think the cramps could be a tummy bug. I am knicker checking like a woman possessed. HAHA. I suppose I'm not making it any easier on myself by not POAS but I just feel like I need this week. I also feel like I'm rabbiting on a lot.

Musicgrrl · 17/10/2016 22:03

Jem I think it's completely understandable. It's hard not to read something into unusual symptoms. Please don't lose hope. I think the stats about what proportion of people conceive within one and two years are actually pretty positive. It goes to show that it just takes some people longer - there doesn't have to be a reason.

I am busting out the OPKs to make sure that I know what is going on this cycle as I got a bit caught out last time when I was ill. It gives me something to focus on! Also aiming for more regular dtd outside of main FW just in case!

Mouse you're not rabbiting - we like hearing from you! If you have the will power to wait to POAS then you have my respect! Sorry about the cramps though - they sound a bit rubbish.

EJ2009 · 18/10/2016 06:09

Any thoughts guys. Im new to temperature charting. My temperature dipped this morning but im only 5/6dpo. I thought it should stay high until af. Wondering if a) im having a short cycle hence the af pains yesterday or b) if having my flu jab yesterday has messed with my chart.
